Be Dazzled Beads & Collectibles

They have a good selection of beads but I was very disappointed by the lack of help by the staff! I told the woman I had to hunt down that I had driven 190 miles to their shop and that I was new to beading and needed help. She directed me to the wall where the seed beads were and said to look at them. I asked about where other beads were I wanted to see and again she pointed me in the general direction. I like to support independent stores but I will be ordering online to get the rest of what I need and won’t go back there again!

Nice, helpful employees. Great selection of beads. Classes are offered. They periodically run some sort of daily deal. Love, love, love this place. I don’t go any where else!

I’d probably call this place the Cheesecake Factory of bead shops. Talk about sensory overload. Unfortunately, I can’t go that far, because while Cheesecake Factory’s menu is unnecessarily long and vast, they at least offer delicious items. Sadly, this place left a lot to be desired.
There are plenty of beads available here, but the variety is nothing to write home about and they are all over priced. Not to mention the place is very poorly lit.
I was disappointed in my purchases and the women working there were pretentious and unhelpful. I will probably not be back here again.

This review is for their jewlery repair person – Marjorie. I accidentally broke my wife’s expensive pearls two years ago, and I was in the doghouse. My secretary was a client of Marjorie’s, and she recommended I take them to her.
Not only did Marjorie fix them, my wife noted that they were strung better than they had been before. So, she took her other pearls – two bracelets and another necklace to her to restring, even though they were not broken. She repaired them all within a couple of days and once again, they were in better condition than they were when they were just purchased.
I am writing this after two more years where we have taken broken jewelry to her to fix, in addition to having her make necklaces, bracelets, and earrings for us to give as presents. I highly recommend her for all repairs and to have things made as special gifts that look like unlike any of the storebought or craft show jewelers.

When you walk it you’re welcomed by a smiling gentleman drinking his tea, a very pooped looking Shitzu, and hoards of beads, findings, and magazines. The place has triple the selection of other bead shops in the area, and they have quality tools to purchase. I had always wondered how I would replace the ones I bought from my college before graduation, and now I have an answer. They are the only people I’ve found to sell them, which made me, perhaps, a little too happy. They also sell books on jewelry making at very fair prices. I will be back for the chain making book, it’s just a matter of when.
