Applebee’s

Was greeted sat down and waited for 15 minutes no one came to take our drink order. We looked around and didn’t see a person that worked there. We left and will never be back

We used to be regulars at the Murfreesboro location. After going to this location we will not be back. It was late and there were only a few customers. We waited over 20 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order. Multiple servers walked by us, and another was too busy flirting with a guest two tables down. After not being acknowledged once we walked out. Sad since we love other Applebees locations and this has to be the one we bought a house near.

As indicated in the majority of other reviews, this place is terrible. I had a negative experience on one occasion and was offered a free meal if I’d return, which I did. Again, the service was terrible and the food disgusting. I would not go back, even for a free meal, which is unfortunate considering I live 30 seconds away. If you insist on eating at a chain restaurant, at least go to Chilis in Maryland farms.

Sat here. Sat here. Sat here. Used the little box to call a server. Sat some more. No one came. Loads of people wandering around. Not a lot of people in the restaurant though. Still sitting… Ok we give. We’re going across the road to eat. And no I don’t want to talk to anyone. I wanted to talk to someone 30 minutes ago.

We just walked out. They had 15+ empty tables and were not seating anyone on a Friday night. Watching the staff they were only working one or two tables at the most at one time. Never have I been in an Applebes that we waited 15+ minutes when there was all sorts of empty tables. What ever happened to the phrase. «hi I will be right with you» We will not be back

Yeaaa, sooo this place is nothing special. Mid 90s restaurant chain décor, lights bulbs missing in the sign outside for months (I drive past this place nearly everyday, sign appears to say appees), definitely an indication of the overall quality of the food and service you can expect prior to entering. Staff is friendly but obviously not well managed. I only order wonton tacos during their happy hour, maybe a beer to pair but thats about it. Bottom line, if your the comfortable chain restaurant lover, keep driving a couple miles south to the Chilli’s located in Maryland Farms. Definitely worth the drive. Peace

Now, let me preface this review with: my experiences with Apple Bee’s bar area have always been exceptional. Sí Sí & Justin are phenomenal bartenders. Linda (I believe that’s her name), on the other hand is horrible.
First strike: I sit down at the bar and it takes her approximately 10 minutes to acknowledge me. Mind you, the bar is not at all busy and even in the slim chance that it was, she should still be AWARE of her bar.
Second strike: After finally acknowledging that she has a new patron, I was able to place my order. She brings me my mixed drink back and it was the epitome of disgusting. I ordered my usual «Bahama Mama and it tasted like SHIT. Literally.
Third strike: She finally brings my food out and guess what? After sitting my food before me, I wanted to see how long it would take her to bring my silverware… I had to ask for my own. As a bartender, she should have prepared silverware and napkins before my food even came out, but I digress.
Fourth strike: She never once came around and asked me «How’s your food?» «Would you like a water?» Linda, by-​far is the most impersonal bartender that I’ve met at this location. She never once interacted with; however, there were several other bar patrons that she conversed with.
Overall, I will NOT patronize this bar when Linda is working. Needless to say, I did NOT tip her and I always tip. I work in the service industry and I understand the importance of tips. I also am a manager, thus understanding how customer service directly impacts tipping.
Linda (I hope this is her name), you need to get it together!

Alright, I’ve lived in the neighborhood for over a year and me and my boyfriend love the food at Applebee’s. We’ve been to this location well over 20 times, and even our second date was there. We’ve been there through the menu change and through the remodeling on the inside and the implementation of the little tablets on the tables (that, incidentally, never work).
Nearly every time we’ve been there, the service has been horrible. Slow, empty drinks, orders not being accurate. One time, my boyfriend was so upset not to get a refill of water after 30 minutes, that he went up to the bar himself to get some water.
The only time you get good service is if you sit on the bar, and that’s because we are in their face and they can’t ignore us.
We’ve always vowed never to go back, but we end up wanting something that only Applebees can get for us. So we always go back hoping the service has changed. Tonight the bar was filled, so we had to sit somewhere else.
However we’re done. After tonight, we’re really done. Extremely slow service, had to send the fries back because they were extremely overcooked, no communication as to what’s going on (They were down to one fryer, so things were even slower than slow) and they charged us $ 3.99 for the August special all day beer for $ 2. When we saw that, we just decided to pay and leave. If we had disputed the overcharge, we’d probably still be there waiting for our waiter to come back and fix the problem. My boyfriend was so frustrated, he just said he’d take the overcharge out of the tip and we’d never come back to this location.
So, if you want good service, eat at the bar.

S.L.O.W. Let me repeat– slowest wait staff ever! 20 minutes for a side of honey mustard slow. Want a refill, good luck!

Service has been great. I live close and probably once out of ten times this year was there a problem and the manager fixed it.

Traditionally I like Applebee’s but this one has continuously provided poor service. We had been sitting for more than 10 minutes before even being asked for drink orders. After waiting another 12 plus minutes before getting apps. Entrees were served another 20 minutes later. Of 3 entrees the salad was served with no dressing wait another 5 minutes for dressing. Poor service. I’m sorry I won’t be coming back

All u could say is slow slow slow
Ordered fish and chips took one bite was so greasy and mooshy reminded me of baby food
Also waited twenty minutes for service
They remodeled it if you call it that it’s more like they polished a turd

Ok, so let me start by saying that I totally forgot that Applebee’s was still around. This place used to be a great place to stop in and grab a burger and a beer or 10. When I lived in So. Cal, I used to frequent their bar alot. I loved their Club House Grille sandwich and then they went and changed the recipe. You know how that goes.
In any event, I stopped in with my mom and noticed they had new menus, which is always a good sign. This particular location was not the neatest inside but we were greeted pretty quickly and were seated just as fast. Our server, B, was friendly and prompt. I ordered their new mushroom Swiss burger that was unfreaking believable. I mean, I was totally surprised. The burger was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms were fresh and every single morsel melted in my mouth.
If it weren’t for the fact that this place is way on the other side of town, I would totally go alot more. In any event, kudos Applebee’s kudos!

The hostess was too busy on the phone to seat me so I sat at the bar.
My dinner took too long to come out and the steak was under cooked.
They should close down so a good restaurant can move in.

Ate here a couple weeks ago– walked in at 4:45pm on a Saturday night. Was seated quickly… that was the ONLY thing that happened quickly! Proceeded to have the longest, worst customer service ever. Meal took a ridiculous amount of time, got it wrong on one meal– didn’t bring out the fixed meal until every other meal was finished! To give credit, the manager came out to apologize and comped the meal and gave desserts on the house. Big mistake taking that offer! Proceeded to order milkshakes that took 30 min to be made at the bar! From beginning to end with the check, it was a comedy of errors! Finally walked out at 7pm!!! Watched other tables come in an hour after us, eat, pay & leave well before us. The food was good and the management was appreciated… but there’s definitely a mess up with the system somewhere. It wasn’t overly packed and no line to get in. Never again.
