Gave my son the worst haircut he’s ever had. I wasn’t with him and he came home with a ragged crew cut, longish on top, uneven bangs and wide bare spots around his ears. Horrible.

I was a little nervous about getting my long hair cut short at Hair Cuttery; I had procrastinated until the week of my sister’s wedding, and I didn’t make time to book a salon appointment. But I knew I didn’t want to spend a lot, so I went into HC hoping that my hair would look halfway decent when I left. My hair looks great! Mandi did a great job with my wash, cut, blow dry, and style. She gave me some helpful tips for my unpredictably wavy/stick-straight hair(it’s complicated) and my occasionally itchy/annoying dry scalp. I walked out after 45 minutes(five-minute wait time), looking and feeling pretty darn good if I do say so myself. I also appreciated that I paid about half of what I would have at a salon. I will be back.
Does I.

Home of the Scalper Hair Stylist This used to be a good place before and I used to come frequently. The last time I went there the scalper hair stylist took away parts of my scalp along with my haircut. It hurt me for 3 days and so I am writing this review. Where I am from — sometimes the stylists used to have blunt blades in their tool and this would happen. Here, I think it was a combination of the blade being blunt and also the brutal way in which she was trying to remove the hair. It was painful and I was wincing in pain during and after the hair cut. Never again. Horrible place.

Cheryl, Holly and Savannah are the best stylist that my family has been to in this Nashua location. With my kids schedules it’s hard for me to schedule in advance a haircut so it’s great to be able to just walk in and not require an appointment. The prices are right, the place is fairly clean and the staff mentioned above are very friendly and do a great job!

I have being going here for 2 years now, when I called to make my first appt, I told the person who answered the phone, I didn’t want anyone who was new to cutting hair that I wanted a person who had experience, who had been around the block so to speak and one who knew how to color. I had just recently had a very bad experience at another local salon the salon allowed one of their employees to cut, and color my hair who hadn’t even taken her boards yet. You can imagine my nightmare. The receptionist suggested some one to try, she stated to me that she recommends this stylist to every one in her family. So I scheduled an appt and I am glad I did, I love my new stylist! I did make the mistake one day of just popping in to see if I could get a hair cut my regular person wasn’t there so I had some other woman do my hair BIGMISTAKE once side of my hair was longer than the other, and the cut wasn’t even what I wanted. I went back the following week to have my regular person fix my hair, hair cuttery reimbursed me for the first cut, and they even discounted my next visit there. I will not let anyone cut my hair there again other than my regular person.

While not a posh, high-end hair salon, Hair Cuttery is a great place for simple, quick, cheap trims. I drop by once a month to have my bangs trimmed with Holly — she does a great job. I’ve never had to make an appointment and I’ve never waited for more than 10 minutes for a stylist to see me. They also sell Paul Mitchell and Bedhead styling products at reasonable prices and are open until 9PM on weeknights.
