They make excellent good quality ice cream. The flavor variety is excellent and ever-changing. The Nathan’s hot dogs and thick cut crinkle fries are also good.

Went here on the 4th of July, as Jake’s was closed, and was rather unimpressed. I got a scoop of ice cream, and a small fries. My girlfriend got a scoop of cookies and cream, which she enjoyed. My scoop was, apparently, syrup flavor. I can’t even remember what I got, at this point, because all I remember is a syrupy, sickly-sweet scoop of type-2 diabetes. I could not actually identify the flavor, just… sugar. Perhaps it was a fluke(or perhaps the American taste-bud has left me behind). Either way, it was a letdown, and on the smaller side. As for the fries… blah. They were huge, fat fries, twice the thickness of my thumb, and had no flavor more nuanced than salty grease. After eating the both of them(small fries, one scoop) I felt ill for hours. Never again. It got three stars because my girlfriend liked hers, and I try to be fair to businesses. I also liked their free scoop in the snow or rain policy; and, it’s nice to see an ice cream place open year round.

I live in Manchester, where The Puritan reigns as the ice cream king. Lines wrap around the building every night during the summer. I’ve passed them on my drive down to Bruster’s. Why waste your time getting boring, stale ice cream from apathetic teenagers? Bruster’s has high-quality ice cream that comes in a great variety of flavors(Oreo, Graham Central Station, Peanut Butter Puddles), all sold to you by their friendly, helpful staff. Try samples! Ask them to explain the ingredients of a flavor! They never make you feel like you’re wasting their time.

I used to live in Nashua and whenever I go back to visit I try to stop here because the ice cream is that good. Despite what other reviews say, I find the portions to be quite large and the prices to be quite competitive with other ice cream places. My all-time favorite flavor is the coconut chip but unfortunately they didn’t have it when I went yesterday. I got regular chocolate chip instead, which was very good. I also got a sample of the black raspberry chocolate chunk(with giant chocolate chunks) and the toasted coconut. The chocolate chips in the chocolate chip flavor I went with were more like mini chocolate slices and not«chips.» I would have preferred the chocolate chunks they put in the black raspberry. I still consider it a «must visit» when I’m in the area.

I love the peanut butter cup sundae and the white chocolate raspberry ice cream. Both are really yummy.

Unbelievably good ice cream. The only part that sucks is the cost. It’s more expensive than high grade weapons ready plutonium(or so I’ve heard). Last time we got ice cream there it was $ 314.49 not including tax for 3 kiddie cones. However, the coconut cream pie or key lime pie flavors are worth it. Once I gain enough equity back in my home, I’m going to take out a small line of credit and go back again.

I love Bruster’s. Their white chocolate raspberry truffle is my favorite ice cream in the whole world, I’ve decided. Their other flavors are also very good. The butter pecan and pistachio are both thick and full of nuts. Delicious. The service can be a little slow at times, but it’s worth the wait. The staff, which seems to consist entirely of pretty young women for some reason, is friendly and polite. One huge plus for Bruster’s. They don’t sing. Not even once. Not even a little bit. I have never observed them singing at Bruster’s.

It’s the dead of winter and below freezing. The wind is biting cold. Sounds like ice cream weather to me! My friend and I had a mighty big craving for ice cream last evening and decided to give this place a try. We were pleasantly surprised by this unassuming dairy locale. We tried cake batter and oreo. Both were creamy, flavorful and delicious. The homemade taste was wonderful. It wasn’t chemical or manufactured-tasting at all. It was just plain good. The girls manning the windows were also quite friendly. Serving sizes are not fabulous. For a medium(3 scoops– not large scoops though), you pay about $ 3.50. The small looked really small, so we went right for the medium. Even in the winter, the service was slow. I will come back here in the summer, but overall, this place was good!

Okay, so I get a phone call from Bruster’s every time they make coconut chip ice cream. What can I say? I love it, and they don’t always have it — so one day I asked if they would have it again soon and they offered to take my number and call me when they made it. How cool is that? I also recommend the Key Lime Pie flavor — it has graham cracker crust in the ice cream. It’s soooo good on a hot summer night. Ice cream is always creamy and tastes just like… well, just like ice cream’s supposed to taste! The Brownie Sundae is huge and gooey and just the right thing to satisfy a choco-craving. They put tons of whipped cream on all their sundaes and banana splits. There’s lots of toppings to choose from and the staff is courteous and efficient. The shop is SPOTLESS just about every time I go there. I’ve yet to see a jimmy on the floor. Pretty unique for an ice cream place. They have a great side menu of things that are totally not good for you to eat, but you want to anyways. Hot dogs, corn dogs, chili bacon ranch fries, and chicken fingers with french fries. The prices are reasonable — the lines can get long and yes, the staff seems slow at times — but they do a good job and their product is consistent. When given a choice between Cold Stone or Brusters, I’d pick Brusters every time. Maybe not as «creative» as Coldstone, but definitely not as expensive and every bit as good.

Ice Cream is yummy. I don’t think the service could be slower if they tried. Sofa King slow, I’m telling ya. If you drive by and there’s a line, it could be because Bruster’s has good ice cream, but it’s probably also because they take forever. One of the things about Bruster’s is that they insist on weighing everything. While I appreciate the commitment to consistency, the end result is that the service is consistently slow. It really sucks being bit up by mosquitos because they have all the lights set to torch mode, as if to advertise the presence of warm-blooded mammals standing around waiting in line. They should start selling bottles of tonic water with quinine so you can ward off Malaria while being eaten alive…

Good place for ice cream on a hot day. They have outside takeout windows with picnic table seating out back and bench seating along the side of the building(no indoor seating and no public restrooms at this location). Bruster’s has some good ice cream flavors including Cake Batter, Cotton Candy Explosion, Key Lime Pie, Chocolate Raspberry Truffle and Coffee Caramel Swirl(Fat Free), which can be served in a sugar cone, cake cone, waffle cone, or dish. Other treats here include yogurts, sorbets, sherbets, Italian ice, parfaits, blasts, shakes, sundaes, banana splits, large ice cream cakes/pies, and Kid’s Dino & Dirt Sundaes. The ice cream here is very rich, gooey, and dense. HOURS(summer): Open 11:00AM to 11:00PM everyday. ACCESS: Bruster’s is accessed via Route 101A Westbound with«right-in/right-out» only access. If you’re heading on Route 101A Eastbound, I guess you’re SOL, j/k! Well, you can make a legal U-Turn at the Celina Ave intersection to double back to Bruster’s. To head back on Route 101A Eastbound, make a right turn out of Bruster’s and make a right turn at the next traffic signal(U-Turns Prohibited) into the CVS parking lot to loop around and reverse direction via the traffic signal.

Wonderful place for ice cream and plenty of flavors to choose from. Only setback is no place to really sit.
