Delicious food. First time eating at a Haitian restaurant. The owner even came out and talked to us. Good atmosphere and service. Friendly.

A-MAZ-ING!!! I’ve been craving griot for some time and I finally found time to get some at a restaurant that’s only 10 mins from my house. I would’ve taken a picture but I devoured it too quick. But I ordered griot and I had the black rice with peas, plantain and salad for $ 10. It was a really big portion of food for the amount of money I paid. I will be back again and again!!!

When we moved to Homestead this year, we were glad to find out there is a Haitian restaurant down here.(We used to live in South Miami and would drive 40 mins to get food up north anytime we were craving.) So imagine how happy we were to find out that the food is actually amazing! Cozy ambience, friendly staff, very personable owner, and the price is right. Can’t beat that. Sak Pase should be your go-to Caribbean spot in the South Dade area. Better than any of the Cuban places down here hands down.

I love my islanders, Jamaican, PR, DR and of course Zoes! I have plenty of Zoe friends but the main cook either moves away or just lost contact to get their home dishes. This place is in passing sometimes and I decided to check it out when a few acquaintances informed me that the food is decent. I had the day off and went around lunch time and caught the lunch special. $ 5 for a real meal, YEP! I ordered the Griot which is fried pork. It was cooked right, not over dried like others I’ve had in the past. I was a little sad when I didn’t get plantains. I normally always get plantains with this type of dish but maybe they don’t do it like that here. Other than that, I wouldn’t mind stopping in again

My boyfriend took me to this restaurant today because he wanted some Haitian Food which I was very impress with the food it taste delicious. One thing is that I thought it was very hot which I think the AC wasn’t on and customer services wasn’t that good. The lunch price is great for what you pay for. I had griot which is pork with white rice and plantains.

The Griot(Fried pork) with Pikliz, a combination of pickled shredded cabbage, carrot, onions, shallots and habanero peppers is a great tasty lunch special that won’t put a dent in your wallet. The lunch special is $ 4.99 from 11am to 3pm. It’s a nice getaway from the average food fair when you want something different. Not a fancy place, but the owner and servers are very amicable.
