We are year round residents and my wife and I enjoy taking ourselves or our guests to this well located spot. Our favorite time to visit is a weekend lunch when we like to order a glass of wine and assorted appetizers including raw bar items. If you prefer a standard meal the food is competent and the service is always friendly.

Good seafood place! Fried calamari and shrimp nachos was great. The cucumber basil drink and the Mojito were alright. Service was great. Dora was very good. All outdoor seating and nice view of the water with boats docked around.

We have bern coming to this place for many years. Sadly the quality of the food has totally gone downhill. What happened to the great flavors their dishes used to have? Last night I ordered their Paella, and not only was it quite mediocre. Already on our way back home I got the worst diarrhea I have had in years, so clearly there was something wrong with the food. We will definitely not be going back.

We have been coming to the Dock for decades. It is all about tradition. The Dock has a great location, bay views and rustic charm. The clam chowder and oysters are great. Back in the day it was rock in’! The salmon, grouper and crab salad was pretty bland. I feel like the flavor is gone and it has grown tired over the years. I think it’s time to try some new places and create new traditions! Thanks Dock for years of great memories!

Fabulous Place The shellfish tower is a work of art, and the shrimp risotto was perfect. Friendly service, but a bit slow. Great location and excellent ambiance. Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped here after a day out on the water and it was packed for lunch. The place is mediocre at best but seems to be the biggest restaurant on this particular strip by the water. I ordered the grouper sandwich blackened. It was ok. The fish was not real juicy and the bread just fell apart which is a pet peeve of mine. I will say that the Coke slaw that came with my dish was delicious, which is strange because I normally don’t like Cole slaw. What made for a more negative experience was the service and the flies, dear god the flies! Our waitress was absent for most of our lunch and neglected many of the tables she was servicing. Had to ask more than once for ketchup and a refill of my water. Table next to me asked 3 times for water and we’re getting annoyed. It was HOT, what do you expect we want?! My party ate outside by the dock and midway through our meal we got swarmed by flies. It was horrible. I probably wouldn’t come back here with so many other dining option around.

The Dock has never had the best food in Naples. Tonight the food was really mediocre. You go to The Dock because of the location and the quality of the service. Those are the strong points. The food — not so much. The food is just not that good. I had a Grouper and Chips. It looked as if it came from one of the Sysco trucks. It tasted like Sysco as well. My wife had salmon and vegetables. She found the salmon to be ok. The vegetables and rice were simply tasteless. If you’re going to serve vegetable it might be nice to prepare them nicely. Roasted maybe? Anything but what was served tonight.

Don’t eat here– the appetizers were ice cold, all the food is frozen, nothing fresh or appetizing. The biggest disappointment we’ve had in all of our travels. The waitress was poor at best, never asked if our meal was ok not did she comment when we returned our meals barely touched. Don’t eat here, way too many great places in Naples over this one– esp for the price! Very expensive for cafeteria level food.

The ambiance alone should make it rated higher. I have been here twice; we came back because of the setting. I don’t understand the low $ rating. The average seafood dish is $ 25+, and maybe even $ 30. I found it to be expensive. There is a wide variety of sea food and plenty on the menu other than seafood(ribs, burger, etc.). fish and chips is a must eat for first timer. The drink I had(approx. $ 10) was weak. That really annoyed me. The Dock is a definite must stop at when in Naples.

I’ve been coming here for years. It’s the ultimate Naples experience! The food is great and the atmosphere always intoxicating. I had the fish and chips this visit and as always they were perfect. My daughter had the Shrimp salad. Our waitress was attentive and polite. It just isn’t a visit to Naples without a trip to The Dock!

Another 5 star experience yesterday! I had a friend in town for my bday and we got a nice corner table overlooking the water! Mauricio was our waiter and he was very friendly, helpful with food selections and just great! We had good food, but the service is top notch.

Perfect atmosphere — great views. Had lunch on the patio — great service. The crab BLT was good-yet not outstanding. Friends enjoyed their burger, and burrito. I hope to come back to explore the menu further.

Excellent fish, and a nice atmosphere. Had a nice view of the dock area. Waited about 35 min for a table for two, which is unexpected at 5pm on a Wednesday, but well worth the wait. Our waitress, Patty, was OKAY… Not super attentive, did not ask how the food was, and just overall was not positive. Would try the place again, and would recommend the food!

This restaurant is one of my Naples favorites, it’s a pseudo religious experience. We’ve frequented the dock over the years for the Sunday Brunch which has. A bloody Mary Bar, which consists of different types of tomato mixes from canned to a spicy secret in-house concoction(awesome). Then there is a cornucopia of your favorite accompaniments, from blue cheese olives, garlic stuffed olives, pickled baby corns, pickled asparagus and of course celery. There are other add-ons like spices to kick it up a notch. This is the only place on the planet I will drink a Bloody Mary. Now the Staff is off the charts with service and everything just clicks when your there. Special applause to «Dora» who is a wonderful waitress and been there many years always greeted with a smile. The food is good and view is spectacular, looks out across the Naples City Dock. Heed a warning if you’re coming for Sunday Brunch come early or prepare to wait it’s always crowded during the season. Happy Dining !!

The bartenders were some of the most friendly that we encountered on our trip– which was great! The food was decent, nothing to write home about, but the view was fantastic! I would come back here again on a nice afternoon for some beverages and the view.

If you want a rude server and sucky margaritas, this is the place to go.

Rude waitress heather, very crappy margaritas. They were very weak, so we ordered more tequila. Then when we ordered 1800, she«mistakenly» charged us for Don Julio, then gave us attitude when we asked that she fix our meal ticket. Only reason this place got 2 stars is because the crab was decent. The salsa isn’t salsa. It’s a mild pico that’s mostly tomatoes and onion. I would avoid this one.

This place is a must! Got Rex from Unilocal We asked to get as close to the water as we could to eat. Was immediately greeted by waitress even on a busy night. We both ordered a mix drink and ½ dz blue point oysters($ 16.50) Holy Moly… They were big and delicious and served w the usual plus a minoette sauce. I ordered the key lime grouped($ 29) which everyone raves about. Guy next to ordered another fish but said he wished got his wife’s grouper because of flavor. Boy was he right on just like the reviews. It was melt in your mouth tangy bite after bite of pure bliss. The sauce was thin and heavenly. Husband ordered NY Strip which was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection medium rare. Skewer of veggies and fingerling sweet potatoes. This place a MUST!!! You will not be disappointed. Worth every bit of the money which was not bad for what we got. Portion to price is equal.

If you’re a salt life lover, and/or a lover of the boat life, then you will feel right at home. For me, being that I like both those things and aspire to one day have or live on a boat, I felt thrilled over the prospect of visiting a place that is a staple in the Naples boating community. The concept is simple. It is a restaurant built upon a dock on a pier that borders a marina, as well as a neighboring inn for boaters. Many boaters come here to eat, or they dock at the Cove Inn and come on over, so it’s popular among that crowd. As a result, expect a lot of flip flops, shorts, and tees, and if you’re already thumbing your nose at the ambiance, then don’t bother coming. Obviously, the dishes that will dominate the menu will be seafood, or contain some sort of seafood, though they do have dishes for those who don’t eat seafood, but why come to a seafood spot in the first place? That is the equivalent of going to a steakhouse and ordering tofu. Prices are not cheap, they are somewhat mid-range. While the seafood seems fresh, there just isn’t anything that truly jumps out at you from the menu. I liked my salad, but did not think it was amazing or out of this world. It was just okay and the tuna was too heavy on the dressing. I wasn’t very full since the salad looked more like something you’d find in a gourmet restaurant(a/k/a, a small portion, meant more to look pretty and posh) so I stole some of my friend’s fries. The best thing this restaurant has going for it is the ambiance, and obviously, the views. You cannot beat the waterfront views, because no matter where you sit, you will look out over the water and see the boats. The best thing is, after eating, you can take a walk on the docks and look at all the boats, some of which are for sale(very tempting!). Not only do you get to drool at the yachts and sailboats, but you also get to walk off the calories of your meal and digest your food. I would imagine that the sunsets here are to die for. As far as food goes though, it’s okay. You can find better seafood restaurants anywhere in South Florida, but finding these views or ambiance along with the amazing seafood is rare.
