Chapel Grill was very nice. Little expensive but about the same as the rest of Naples. Our waiter, Anthony, was excellent. The atmosphere was nice and since we had a reservation, there was no wait time. The food and the presentation was good but the food was not very hot when it was served The service was good but dinner took about 2 hours. Would have given it a four star if the food had been hot. They were very busy but there should be a better way to keep the food hot. I would recommend the place and we will return and give it a second chance.

After years of driving by this cute place we finally tried it. Other places in the old town area were fully booked during prime time, so we were surprised the The Chapel was almost empty. In a short time we realized why. The Cabernet by the glass arrived corked and the replacement, although a fine wine was warm. Even worse so was my wife’s Kir. Our prime rib was very tough and served medium well even though our request was fo as rare as possible. In our group of four, not one person found their meal even remotely acceptable.

Awful. Absolutely awful. I live in Naples all year round. I eat out at least once a week with friends and family. I’ve been to The Chapel Grill before. In the past, the food was good but the experience was average. Tonight, the food and experience were both awful. 2 of us returned our meals and did not want it packed to go. The taste of the sauce(brandy cream) on our beef was metallic. The manager never stopped by to inquire what happened nor did he stand up to address us when we complained about the meal. Our waiter was great! Alas. Good luck. I’ll never eat at this place again.

Food was excellent but the service was extremely slow. We’ve been here three times now and experienced the same bad service each time. Three strikes and they are out!

You standard run of the mill wedding food. No seasoning, ice cream scoop of mashed potatoes, etc. Way over priced for the food.

We had eight people in our party five people ordered the special of the night porterhouse steak. All five Porter houses were overcooked. You are better off spending more money at a different restaurant then this place they have been there for a while and I had never heard of them and now I know why.

Can I give minus stars??? horrible — had a reservation — we waited one hour– mismanaged– they claim they mistakenly oversold — ok mistakes happen– they were not interested in customer service-they didn’t run out of the prime rib they claimed they burnt not one but two! Food was subpar to say the least. Don’t get the uncooked rice pudding– raw sugar crystals with cool whip.

Tropical Storm X. Eclectic rolled into Chapel grill for the night and both the entertainer and restaurant delivered. I went for a ride with some great flavor in the crab cake trio and calypso calamari. Both apps were great especially the calamari as it was fried with some other interesting things that I will leave for you to discover when you try it yourself. Ordered a few signature cocktails and all were good balanced flavors, I also had a couple of local brews from local breweries. The X. Eclectic event was a great time with some very talented singers, slam poets and a few other edgy performances. I will definitely be back to dig deeper into the menu once the seasonal crowd subsides.

On our recent trip back to Naples, My family needed a dose of sun, sand, and some fine dining. We had a marvelous time at the Chapel Grill when we went the last time so I felt a return trip was in order. I can’t say enough about the entire experience. The staff was just as warm and inviting as the last time we went there. The food simply as fantastic as we remembered it. As the only meat eater in the family, I had to start with the Beef Carpaccio app while the vegetarians in the family had the Chapel salad and the Heirloom Tomato and Burrata tower. Just what the doctor ordered to start. For the entrée I just can’t pass up short ribs. Peeling away the meat with my fork yielded an amazingly tender and intensely flavorful bite and I inhaled every bit of it. The chef prepared an amazing off menu vegetable dish for my wife and even my picky 13yr old got the special treatment with a three cheese grilled cheese that she said«Was the best grilled cheese she she has ever eaten. Even though we were pretty full from our app and entrées, I just had to have that Key Lime Pie. We are already planning our next visit to Naples and The Chapel Grill will be on our list of places to eat.

I am so impressed with the chapel, this is one of my favorite spots in Naples for dinner and drinks. Located in an old chapel, the layout and design are stunning. Beautiful decorations line the walls and I could not stop staring at the«sea urchin» ceiling lights. The wine rack by the hostess stand included empty bottles signed by celebrities of all kinds. We enjoyed going through them to see who stopped by and who likes which wine. The food here was excellent! We all started with either a salad or soup; Caesar salad, goat cheese/beet salad and French onion soup was enjoyed by all. The salads were very fresh and the perfect size. The French onion soup was very tasty. For our main entries we all enjoyed: Salmon, Parmesan roasted cod and three queen/king cuts of prime rib. The salmon and cod were amazing, super moist and very flavorful. The portion was very large and was very filling. The cuts of the prime rib were very large, even the queen size was huge! They were all perfectly cooked(order medium rare) and very tender. We all enjoyed our meals and were stuffed at the end. They do have a great wine list here and many specialty cocktails. The drinks came out fast and the service was excellent. Our server was very friendly and kept checking in with us. This was my hands down favorite meal and experience in Naples. I can’t wait to come back!

Great location. Valet parking, but you really don’t need it. Easy to find parking on the street. Food is pricey and only fair. Our waiter, Ralph, was wonderful. The bus staff and the servers were HORRIBLE! They threw the food on the table, practically spilling it on our laps. They reached over the table and the patrons to deliver food. On the way out we looked in the mint bowl for a mint and there were only old wrappers! When I asked for a mint an employee said the reason why we don’t have any in the dish is because people take a handful. Not my fault! Keep your bowl filled. Care about your customers! They clearly do not.

This is a very nice location for cocktails and a light meal. Very convenient after a play at the Norris Center. The food was very good, but the menu is limited. The servers were very helpful and pleasant.

Went today for the first time. No customers in the restaurant and they would not let me sit outside. Walked out due to this poor customer service experience. Won’t be back.

Why do I go out to eat on Mother’s Day? I was very disappointed. I ordered the yellow snapper and it looked and tasted as if it was cooked yesterday. Next time go for the baked salmon. The service was fine but the meal was sooo disappointing. I doubt I will go back ever.

Went here before a Norris center show. Sat at the bar which was nice and warm that night from the heaters. But the service was miserable. Took 15 minutes to even get a hello much less a menu. The bartender was cocky and just managed to always miss our cues. Then when I ordered the last pear martini I proceeded to watch him pour a whole other martini from my shaker to the cute girl down the bar from me. So rude and incredibly awful. I’d like to add that the bartender is now sending me threatening emails through his girlfriends account on Unilocal. So now I’m both frightened and upset.

We were not sure if this was a dog friendly restaurant, but it was. Water bowls and Parmesan cheese was provider for them. We started with the Turkey Chili soup and we both had The Blackened Steak with garlic mashed potato and grilled asparagus. The food was delicious and plentiful. And the service was top notch also. This will defiantly be a place we will frequent.

My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the chapel grill last night! We started with a chilled Caesar salad which was excellent. *Note — they spilt the salad for us and it was plenty. We moved onto«wicked» chicken wings — one word — AWESOME! They were the best we’ve had — no exaggeration. For dinner, my wife had boeuf bourguignonne risotto which was rich and delicious. I had the Kobe burger which was also fabulous and large cut french fries were delicious and hot. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve returned cold French fries. Our waitress — Karen — was great — funny, informative and attentive. She stopped by several times to check on us. Lynn, the general manager stopped by and chatted for several minutes. She was also extremely pleasant. The service, food and setting were great! We will definitely be back! Pat and Sarah K

Love the history of this venue. Wow! Who was the genius to renovate this downtown historical staple? Good for you restaurant owners! My prawns were hearty, fresh, and kindly proportioned, and the crab cakes were delish! Service was just ok, he was a bit overwhelmed. Not too personable, and food was rushed. From a design prospective, it needs some heart. Missing some major design elements. Should have played up the chapel theme, instead of just keeping it cold & clean. Too safe. Looks like your biggest design decision were the lighting fixtures. Wow! Time to invest in a good restaurant design aesthetic — give us something to write home about. Don’t try and please the migrating silvers, us youngins keep your name good on the street ;). Step out of the box. Roll the dice. Guaranteed you’ll be even more successful and will attract the SWFL hipsters! Overall a good experience, just needs to be polished.

I was eagerly waiting while this charming chapel was converted to a restaurant over most of 2012. The Chapel Grill offers several outdoor seating areas, while the indoors is divided into a bar area, an open dining room, and a side room with simllar tables, tall banquettes, and a couple flat screen tv’s. I’ll withhold judgment about those tv’s since they haven’t intruded on the bar yet, and were dark on this Thursday evening. Since it was cool outside for a Florida evening, we chose bowls of potato leek soup. The order came with sweet rounds of fresh rolls, and was absolutely delicous. The décor is pared to a minimalist taste. Buttery colors complement beadboarded walls. Then, as the white timbers of the vaulted ceiling seem to verge on being boring, there is a bit of exciting, urban flair in the ovoid, metal lighting fixtures. Nice! Since The Chapel Grill is a block off Fifth Avenue, and just out of veiw of first timers cruising the sights — I predict that locals will be glad to call it a favorite.
