Second time dining here. The service was attentive and prompt. The food was excellent and the ambiance was comfortable.

We(my wife and I) went on a Friday night around 7pm. We didn’t have reservations but fortunately none was required but I can see how having them would protect you for it later did become crowded. As soon as we walk in there was a live two person band playing instruments. The ambiance was nice to take family or wife on a date. The waitress we had was very pleasant, the food, for the appetizer we had the vegetable samosas. It was very tasty, the spice blend that came with the meal, there was a spicy one(the green looking one) had a nice kick. The dark sauce was sweet and a great compliment to the meal. For our main meals, I had the home made cheese in buttery sauce, was average my wife had the spinach and cheese, now that was very good and it was spicy. Nice place, good food and priced moderately. I would recommend a first time visit.

Wonderful experience! My husband and I decided to try something new last night and had heard good things about the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere as its in a strip mall and looks kind of dark from the outside. Our waitress was extremely polite and explained the dishes well. We chose the appetizer sampler to start and were very pleased with every bit of it. For my entrée I ordered the lamb madras. The waitress explained it was a spicier dish, about a 7 out of 10. I would have said it was more like 5 out of 10 but still amazing! My husband had the sea bass tikki masala and was also very happy with his choice. We ordered a side of naan bread and that alone was unbelievably fresh and delicious. To top is off we ended with mango ice cream and it is a MUST! So delicious and fresh! I have already set up a double date two weeks from now to go back!

There’s a reason this is the only Indian Cuisine restaurant in all of Naples! I’m a creature of habit so I can’t talk about too many of there dishes since I only get the curry but by god it makes you want to slap your brain out with your tongue! We always get the appetizer sampler dish(which I highly recommend since everything is good) then either chicken, pork or lamb curry! Every single one is delicious it just depends on what animal you’re hankering for! The staff was friendly… as far as I can remember since it doesn’t matter because the food is so dang delicious. All I have to say is, I would gladly take the hot squirts that I get the next day from this food because it’s soooo frickin good!!!

Our family decided to celebrate my niece’s 18th birthday at Passage to India. We are from Orlando and have several options when it comes to Indian restaurant choices, however, this was the best ever. In addition to the food being excellent, the service was exceptional! I definitely see this being a normal spot for us to visit when we are in the area. The butter chicken and tiki masala lamb was incredible!

My family loves Indian food. Now that we live in Southwest Florida we have been searching for a good Indian restaurant. I think we’ve found one. Is it the best ever? No. However it is the best in the region. I’ve read the few reviews claiming poor service, this was not our experience. Our waitress was extremely helpful to the novice friends we brought with us. Water was replenished regularly and the plates that were ready to be cleared were cleared promptly. The entire staff was pleasant. The décor was nice and everything seemed to be clean. Oh, and the food was good too. The appetizers and a variety of breads were well prepared. Each of us had a different entrée including chicken and lamb and each received good reviews. Recommended.

We have been here several times and are never disappointed. Traditional Great Indian food, Nepalese style… good and with a smile. The restaurant is warm, cute, and inviting and the service is wonderful. Wish we were closer …

I’ve been craving good Indian food for a while! There are not many places around where one can find that. When we visited Passage to India we found just what we’ve been craving! Delicious Indian food. We ordered the sea bass tikki masala, cauliflower side dish and punir. I was happy to hear the sea bass was wild and not farmed. We didn’t stop there, we also had a sweet treat to end our experience. Rice pudding and mango ice cream were the cherry on top! We loved our experience, from the service, to the food, and the delicious leftovers we got to enjoy at home! Can’t wait until the next visit. :)

Some of the other reviews are weird. Portions are fine. Price point is usual. Service is fast and friendly. They got the simple stuff right. My singular issue is with the flavor. I love garlic and they use a lot of it which is great. However, it didn’t taste fresh. It had the acrid flavor of garlic pre-minced and stored too long in oil. Unless garlic is minced and stored in oil and used daily it gets acrid and shouldn’t be used more than that day. Whatever their means of applying garlic to the naan and their dishes, it threw everything off. The cuisine is Bangladeshi. Yes, it’s all«Indianesque» but the flavors again weren’t what I think of with«Indian» which I think I like better. I’ll give it a 2nd go soon though to make sure.

I am not a very experienced indian diner, in fact Passage to India was my first venture into this cuisine when they were in Bonita. I really enjoy the flavors but when they moved to Naples, they took a majority of the heat out of their dishes and while i don’t like it too spicy, a little is nice. They could stand to up their spice level. I have always enjoyed good service and keep Passage to India on my list as a must visit when I can make it down to Naples.

Service was so slow 2.5 hours for a dinner??? When food arrived it lacked flavor and heat even though we asked for extra heat. Other Indian places are much more tasty than this place

We are vegetarian, so meats may be better. The food was not tasty, no discernible spices except in the cauliflower bhaji. Everything needed salt. The only significant flavor was spicy — curry.

This is still my favorite Indian go to restaurant. We have been coming here for 16 years and they treat us like family. My fav dish is still Lamb Tikka Masala. You can’t go wrong and they never make it too hot. Naan is fresh and wait help is accommodating.

Best and only Indian restaurant in the Naples area. Naan is fresh and fluffy. Waitress abs hostesses are pleasant. Saag paneer is fresh and extremely tasty. That is my favorite. Chicken tikka masala is excellent. It is pricy, but spices are not cheap and it is well worth it. A great Indian restaurant.

Good food but the portions are getting smaller and smaller each time and pricier and pricier. I’ve been several times and the food is consistent. But now it’s ridiculous. I leave hungry.

Tandoori chicken is my favorite(I can eat it without feeling guilty!). I only wish they would use fresh vegetables instead of frozen. Good service and price point.

One of my favorite places to go. My best friend and I have dinner here at least once a month, I’ve tried several different dishes and everything is delicious. The service leaves a bit to be desired at times, but the food is wonderful.

The restaurant itself is very nice and the staff was very friendly. It took us almost an hour to get our food, it was Saturday night and very busy, we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. I found the quality of the food not very good, the vegetables were frozen and the sag paneer, had the paneer on top, not mixed in to the dish and tasted a little sour. The nan was good as well as the papadams. We ordered ras malai for desert and I was really disappointed. My friend liked it because she had never had it before. It came out hot, as if they just put it in the microwave. Ras malai is a delicate dish, with cheese balls soaked in cream and always cold, that’s what makes it so good. This was not fresh and I couldn’t finish it, not worth the $ 5.00. The food was quite pricey for the lack of quality.

We decided to check-out only Indian restaurant in the Bonita/Naples/Marco area. It was a decent size restaurant and the décor was nice. The service was friendly and attentive. We tried the butter chicken, chana sag, chicken tikka masala and of course added garlic naan, mango chutney. Overall, the food was tasty. You can get mild, medium or spicy levels of heat depending on your preference. We tried the mild and it was very mild. I’m used to larger entrée portions for the prices. Would I go back again — yes.
