Service was friendly. Atmosphere was good… the harp player added that additional special touch. Now for the food review… presentation was good. We had the combo for two(short ribs, shrimp, scallops, and steak). I was surprised of the lack of seasoning and flavor in the ribs and steak. Had to add salt and pepper. The meat was a little tough. Nothing really special about the seafood neither. I am not an Argentinian and this may be the way it is suppose to taste. My Latin food benchmark are Cuban and Columbian food… lots of flavor. This place simply missed the mark on the food.

The service was a bit slow to start once we arrived, but the food kinda made up for it. We had the calamari appetizers and it was very good. My 3 children and I ate well with the«meat lover» grill thingy. The meat was delicious and plentiful, although we did order a 8 oz churrasco with it. The veggies side is succulent, indeed. Overall, the place is not bad to eat a decent meal if your a meat lover. We liked it and would return when I go back to Naples.

Not impressed had to send my steak back asked for medium and got well-done. meat was not as tender as they claimed. The fries were really good! For a steak house surprisingly the knives needed sharpening. Left menus on the table throughout dinner. Not worth the $ 58 for dinner! My husband makes a better churrasco at home on the grill!

Great dinner. Love the empanadas. I had ceviche and the tomato and avocado salad. Hubby has the skirt steak and fries. The skirt steak was tender, tasty and cooked to perfection. The handcut fries were made fresh to order. The tomato and avocado salad was fresh and flavorful. We will be back.

Stopped here on my way home from Anna Maria Beach… and WOW what a cute Argentinean restaurant! The food was great, and their sauces are delicious. I recommend!

Fabulous casual and easy atmosphere with quality eats. WE absolutely love that we can dine on grass fed beef. No other place offers this healthy alternative to grain fed beef. The grilled veggies are a must as well as the avocado and tomato salad. A little entertainment with a guy playing the harp goes a long way to add charm to this rustic eatery. We are fans!

I really like this place I like the staff I like the owners and I like the food definitely an extra effort and exceptional and fresh They have a very small limited menu but that keeps it fresh I would say you could get anything on the menu and do well three items that are way above exceptional would be the meat lovers platter the empanadas for an appetizer get extra to go you’re going to want a couple for a snack tomorrow and then the very fresh tomato avocado salad in a ceviche type of dressing very very good I have only posted a couple of times but I’m sure I’ve eaten here somewhere between 10 and 20 times in the past year or two I should add or usually eat here early certain hours during the night the guy plays music and it’s pretty loud some people would like that and some people will not

I just left now and the server bought me wrong sides and chicken was slightly undercooked which I already took several bites out of just to make sure I wasn’t crazy which of course I spit back out so I didn’t even eat it. Anyways, she took the remaining chicken off of my plate and gave it back to cook again but I am so turned off b/c any other restaurant would have just given me a new order altogether since they messed up the entire order. Anyways, I am not happy with this experience and do not plan on going back. Oh and I forgot to mention they never offered me any bread. Poor service and it wasn’t even packed!

Everything we ordered was on point. When we arrived there was about a half hour wait but what could you expect for a Friday night, the air was warm and they had seats outside so we stayed and sure are glad we did. We ordered the meat lovers combo and all the meats were moist and stacked with flavor. The sides were just as perfect and staff was friendly. There was a guy playing the harp when we first got there which was a nice touch. They are definitely family(kid) friendly as most Spanish speaking natives are. So being there for date night was still comfortable being around well behaved children. We got a dulce de leche empanada and espresso with whip for dessert. Quite pleasing for a night cap. Look forward to having dinner again when we are back in the area.

I am so incredibly sad and depressed. We have been coming to martin fiero every year we have vacationed in Naples — since they were in their old location. It is the type of place we talk about all year long until we finally arrive to our two weeks vacation in Naples. In fact I thought I had written a Unilocal review awhile ago. We love this place so much it always had such a big spot in our heart. We spent awhile in Argentina and Uruguay a have an incredibly love for the place, it’s culture and food. We lived in NYC and Brooklyn for years and nowhere came close to satisfying our Argentinan/Uruguayan food needs. Some tried to but they were never like being THERE. Martin fiero always transported us back to buenos aires and to the mercado del puerto in Montevideo. That is until our last trip in March, 2016. After a few minutes of being seated it just felt different. We had three different servers within the first few minutes and had a few dishes that were almost delivered to us bc they didn’t know whose table the dish belonged to. But the most heartbreaking thing was the food. FIVESOLIDSTARS for the their heavenly morcilla and chorizo that is legit. I will go back always for those things. But the offal I used to die for was horribly and embarrassingly precooked in small pieces and then re «heated»(aka fried into nasty crispy bits) in a pan. The tripe and the kidneys were always grilled prior To this and they were always served in very large pieces. In fact you can go back to a pic I took and uploaded here from 3 years ago and see how they used to serve the tripe! In one whole piece with 4 skewers to hold it in place — just like they would do in South America. The fact that they have not only precooked these precious cuts(sorry but that is nasty) they don’t even bother to grill them anymore. Lazy, cheap and not even close to authentic anymore. The manager(who is Mexican… No disrespect but where is the kind Uruguayan owner I was always used to seeing? Maybe he needs to come back and check on his restaurant again or make sure there is an argentine or Uruguayan on staff?) was kind and did take the stuff off our order and I found out the truth about precooking the stuff after I told him we’d pay double and wait for the offal to be properly grilled. Well you can do that when they’ve all been cut up and fried yesterday. I will take his advice and call the week before and request my orders be grilled and whole like they used to do and won’t give up on this place but I’m sorely disappointed. Please reconsider doing this and also hire better staff — the place was not the way it used to be.

Great little hole in the wall. I’d rather give it 3 ½ but four works. Good little menu and the staff was so friendly and helpful explaining it. Luckily we went during a low traffic time is worried about space if it had been it’s so small. It’s a great family atmosphere and the food was done really well. Lobster ravioli was so good the sauce was dripping off the plate. Overall great experience.

I am sad to report that on my second visit here, it was a disaster. When we arrived, we were informed that we were«lucky» that they had a booth open. Well, as a customer, I don’t really feel«lucky» in fact, They should feel more«lucky» that I chose their establishment to spend my money. Ok, that’s out of the way. We were shown to our table which was soaking wet and gross. My napkin felt like it was used to wipe up a flood. I did ask for another one. My girlfriend unrolled her silverware all to find a bunch of dried and flaky food all over it. There is no way you can miss that. We ordered bread and that never came. We did the meat lovers grill and all I can say was the portable grille was not hot and the quality of meat was the absolute bottom of the barrel. We actually did not eat any more than one bite of each meat. It was just that bad. The fries that we ordered(because they were so good the last time) were soggy and cold. The had a male musician singer there that night and unfortunately, the speakers were right by us and they were loud.(he was good though) It just seemed like chaos in there and I have no idea why. It was not real busy. I am just shocked because it was exactly the OPPOSITE experience than we had before. I am mixed if we will go back or not. If so, it wont be soon.

We’ve been traveling for three months and this is the best meal we’ve had! I even bought a bottle of wine and it was still priced reasonably. I’m in heaven and so is my husband! He loves ribeye, and so do I when it’s grass fed beef from Argentina. Why would any food snob(like me:) go to a chain steakhouse restaurant after eating at Martin’s? They use chemical free charcoal and they sell their home made chimchirri(sp) sauce. I’m a happy camper! We will be back and we’ll bring friends!

This place is flat out awesome. If you love meat, this is your spot. The pic is of the meat lovers platter and comes with a chicken breast, pork tenderloin, chorizo sausage and two different cuts of red meat. They cook and season everything perfectly. Had the house salad(dark leafy greens, a couple veggies and balsamic) and potato salad(with regular and sweet potatoes!) which were also tasty.

GAUCHOSMEATUP I loved this Argentinean steak house. We decided to come here because it had live entertainment plus it had great reviews. We even called for reservations which were honored at 7pm during high season in Florida. We honestly thought we were going to have to wait for a table. This place rocks. We were seated right next to the harpist who was playing great songs. He was also very cute and spent much time talking to us. He was excited to find out we were from Chicago. He even told us a story about how he played at Buddy Guys and got put up in a fancy downtown hotel. The live music truly created a nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Our waiter Walter was nice. He was very good at up selling but we didn’t bite on any of his upgrades. He had an add on for everything we tried to order but that is how a restaurant can make good money with a waiter who knows how to work the bill. Just be warned that it’s coming. Walter was really sweet to get a sample of the soup for our little one. The soup was a poblano chicken and I thought that there was no way she was going to like it. She loved it so much that she ordered a bowl of it. I was able to grab a spoon full and it was very tasty. I was having soup envy. The menu here consists of protein and it’s grilled over a hot charcoal grill. You can order the meat ala carte or choose from one of the platters. We decided to go with the Meat Lovers Plater which consisted of: 10 oz Beef Short Rib 6 oz Steak Churrasco 6 oz Pork Tenderloin 6 oz Chicken Breast 1 Chorizo Choice of 2 Sides For the sides we went with a salad which came with a house made vinegarete dressing and the fried plantains. I loved how the meat was delivered to the table. It came on a mini charcoal grill that kept all our meat nice and hot. I moved my steaks cause I didn’t want my medium rare meat to over cook. The standout on the platter was the pork tenderloin. It is marinated over night with Dijon and crushed raspberries. It was some of the tastiest pork I’ve ever had. The chicken came in a close second and it was marinated over night in Dijon. I would come back and order both of those cuts off the ala carte menu. The Steak Churrasco was delicious. The bread on the table came with a type of chimicurra sauce. I poured that on the steak and it took it up a notch. My least favorite cut was the Beef Short Rib. I had to struggle with my knife to cut the meat. I know that the meat is marbled with fat for flavor but I shouldn’t have had to struggle to cut my meat. Maybe this was a problem with the knife I was given or maybe this is just how the meat is. The meat lovers platter was a deal at $ 40. We received a lot of food. In my mind I compared this place to a Brazilian steakhouse and I loved the experience here better. I liked having a limit on the amount of meat I could eat. I didn’t feel like I had to over eat cause some guy was walking around slicing meat on my plate. I would come back here for the whole experience. This place is truly unique for the Naples area and I am glad that we found it. I can’t wait until our next trip because I know I’m meating up here again.

Food, Service, Value. 5 Stars. The food is absolutely incredible. All fired on a coal grill in house where you can watch, it’s just outstanding. The chimchurri will rock your world and be something you wake up at 2am craving. There was more meat thank two low carbers could handle for less than $ 40. That’s pretty amazing! It’s completely family owned so yeah there are some parts that need updating. But these are things you could really care less about when you’re eating food that delicious. I’m just sorry I live 1,000 miles away and can’t eat here weekly.

This place was EXCELLENT! I highly recommend! We came in and were seated right away. My gf was a little cold so they seated us closer to the grill for warmth. They explained the menu, how things were cooked and my favorite, that they use a local fresh market for their vegetables. The bread and dip was delicious and very fresh! My caesar salad was good but had a tiny bit of sand on the leaves. It’s the same as when you get sea scallops that have a little bit of sand left behind after they’re cleaned. No biggie. The steak was cooked PERFECTLY, Tender and seasoned very well. I’m not a steak eater but this was by far the best steak I’ve ever had, EVER! The service and hospitality was on point.

We had the pleasure of joining our friends who live in southwest Florida here last night for dinner. I am picky Polly and am not good at trying new or different foods. Glad that I was being a good sport last night because this was totally delicious and enjoyable. We ordered appetizers, ceviche and empanadas. I was proud of myself for trying the ceviche(not my thing by the others raved about it) the empanadas(I had beef) were amazing! Highly recommend. For dinner we shared the hanging gauchos. Meet was perfect and flavorful and the fries were delish. Our server was delightful as was the cook. We all decided that this will be a return spot. Atmosphere was great and we even hear there is love music at night.

Simply the best argentinean restaurant we tried in 15 years living in Florida. I’m from Argentina and there is no place like this! I was so amaze on how they cook the meat on real coal parrillada that creates the real flavor. Staff is amazing and always happy what makes the whole experience unique. Try the empanadas and the provoleta.

Argentinean & Uruguayan parrillada — I like those words. Doesn’t it sound fancy, & out of this world. Parrillada simply translates into steakhouse, & this place is where you should go if you are dying for steak. This restaurant is small, but it’s not small in flavor, nor serving size. We ordered the Meat Lovers Parrillada which is delivered to your table with your own personal grill. It comes with chicken, pork, sausage, and different cuts of beef. All of the flavors were fantastic and perfect. It also came with several sides including yuca fries. We also got a side of Beef Empanadas that were great as well. We feel like the price point was fair for how much we got, and the quality as well. Service was excellent, and the atmosphere is decorated like the countryside. It’s dark and simple. I had to look up who or what Martin Fierro was. Martin Fierro is an epic poem about a gaucho’s challenging life in Argentina. They considered it a masterpiece of world literature and it’s been translated to almost 20 languages.
