The service is the worst!
Doubt they’ll be around much longer. Like the earlier post stated «if you want to go somewhere that makes you feel like crap, you’ve found the place». Should have heeded her advice.

Here’s what I don’t understand: if you don’t want to accept offers/​coupons, don’t offer them. We were offered a $ 20 off coupon (if you spend $ 50 or more) and when we went to use it the bill came $ 48.90 before tax (it was over $ 50 after tax, which is what we looked at). The waitress came up to us literally yelling that we needed to order more or save it for next time. We had no idea it was based on the before tax price and that’s all she had to say, but she was extremely rude. We’ve gone there a couple times before and had that same waitress, she’s always very rude and short with us. If I you want to go out to eat at a place that makes you feel horrible, this is the place for you.

Disappointing dining experience…
I came here stag and had to remind the waiter about my glass of Chardonnay I had ordered, that was sitting on the bar. It was also not the right temperature. It wasn’t chilled enough. It also was left empty for quite some time without any offerings of a refill.
I had to wait 28 minutes for one roll. That was all I ordered. No one said a word to me throughout this entire time. The prices are steeper than Araya, which I will compare everything to since I think it is a phenomenal Sushi establishment. 5 stars all the way.
I’m annoyed as heck and finally got my food. The taste is good but I have never received a roll that looked like this. It is a mess. This is a $ 16 roll. No surprise that the waiter never came over to ask how it was. I can’t believe this place does business.

I’m in love. My husband and I stumbled upon Maguro about a month ago. We had the hibachi grill and had a couple of sashimi items, yum hog snapper. Everything was so good. We came back the next week and sat at the sushi bar and ordered the boat for 2. OMG, I had dreams about the boat and all of the delicacies it held. We are back again and the sushi chef remembered us

Came in after work to grab dinner for my family. Place looks nice when you enter, did not get greeted at all, and hostess face behind desk was unwelcoming. I order several dishes including appetizer, entrée, and hibachi. After waiting 30mins I asked the guy that seem like the front manager to see how much longer and his response was, «another 10 mins I guess.» I mean what kind of a response is that?
When I got home, took out the food and my sons hibachi kids meal didn’t have rice with it. I called to asked if it does come with rice and the guy that answered the phone said it did. After I explained to him that I was just in and had ordered the meal but came home without the rice he said, «oh the person that packed it forgot it.» he didn’t even apologized or tell me to come back!!! What kind of customer service is that???
Thinking with the bad customer service hopefully the food would be better. WRONG!!! Food was disgusting too! Not worth the $ 69!

Just your average hibachi. We went there last night. The waiter was super slow but we find out why… They automatically add a 18% gratuity onto your bill… So why work hard!
The young girl was super nice and was working hard.
We left there hungry. Not enough food and the lobster tasted extremely fishy!

Delicious fast and service was impeccable. We ate at the bar. All food prepared perfectly. Veggies were cooked perfect. Second time here for me and will be back again for sure. Love love love. Also very clean.

There is no going wrong when you go to Maguro!!! Now we ONLY go here to eat Sushi. We just had another wonderful experience. The bartender named Krystalin took care of us at the Sushi bar and even though she was very busy, she was very attentive. We ordered my favorite appetizer, the Seafood spring roll, stuffed with shrimps, scallops and avocado. Then we veered off our usual favorites, The Top of the world and The Out of control roll, and we ordered 5 different rolls. The Tuna Wasabi roll (TO DIE FOR), The Tuna salad roll, The Flaming Salmon Roll, The Paradise Roll (with fried banana inside) and our NEW FAVORITE, The Blue Ocean!!! LOVE MAGURO!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

My first experience at Maguro was amazing. Lots of friends of mine recommended this place since I enjoy going to Daruma. They mentioned that this place was very similar and I honestly agree. The service and the quality of the food were great. I will for sure be returning because it was delicious habachi!!!

Though neither an expert nor even an occasional patron of Japanese steak houses this restaurant affirms why. My experience was average; not great, not terrible.
Service was adequate but rushed and soup and salad were separated by less than a minute… there wasn’t enough space in our minute dining area for both bowls, plate and utensils. So, I simply put them on the empty hibachi station next to us.
However, my Beefeater martini (up with a twist) was huge and $ 10.50. I got what I paid for. In fact, this alone has piqued my interest and may entice me to return if only to sit at the bar. Wouldn’t it be something if this place turned out to be my new favorite watering hole?!

We took a large group for dinner last night with reservations at 6pm. I believe that I was the only one who ordered something other than sushi or from the grill, and I received my entrée at 8:50pm. This was nearly thirty minutes after the rest of our party had fully finished their meals. My order of edamame came around the hour thirty mark after following up, and at that point it seemed clear that my order hadn’t been put in. The waitress said that was not the case, but I honestly hope it was, given that one dish shouldn’t reasonably take an hour and a half.
Everyone was happy with their food but I don’t really need to back anytime soon.

I had a lovely time at Maguro for a hibachi dinner with friends. All in all, I had a wonderful experience. Our hibachi entertainment was served by someone that had a great dynamic personality. We had the typical utensil throwing, onion volcano being put out by a boy water dispenser, and stuff being thrown up in the air. How he got the chance to throw pieces of broccoli up in the air for us to catch with our mouths, is a mystery. I failed miserably at that game.
Now for the food, the sushi is not one to write home about. We’ve ordered a fifty dollar love boat… so we’re talking to a lot of sushi and sashimi. However, I really enjoyed the filet and scallops at the hibachi table. The filet was a perfect medium rare and the scallops were the perfect texture and were extremely tasty. We had some really great portions that night (and some overpriced sake).
Our service was very decent there, and it was nice to have the time to engage in a little conversation which made our wait time a little more enjoyable. The only thing that made me a little wonky was the drum beat to multiple Happy Birthdays not being in sync with the song lol. I think this is a great location for those that don’t want to mess with the busyness of Naples in season, and have the convenience of a Japanese restaurant location uptown.
Completely in love with this place! The food is amazing. The service is great, waiters and waitresses are friendly and attentive. Price is accurate for what you are getting. My favorite drink is the Raspberry Lemon Drop Martini it’s delicious. My husband and I try to tell everyone about this place. We always come here for family events too. One of our favorite places in Naples.
