As a frequent patron at Bravo all year long, I was very disappointed when I stopped by for happy hour on June21. I was seated immediately only to become invisible. Finally, the waiter, Hal B, deigned to take my order of martini and bar burger. After a reasonable time, I was served the passable martini, good bar burger, and French fries that were clearly the last ones in the bowl because there were unidentifiable crumbs. Then I became invisible again, never asked if I wanted another drink, more water,(both glasses empty), dessert etc. Hal B passed me numerous times attending to a four top and five top, refilling water, Drinks, etc. Having an unpleasant experience, I just wanted to wrap this up. I had to flag down Hal B for the check which took some time to get BC he continued to pass to my left and right refilling drinks and finally received check«holder» opened it only to find it empty. Again, I went through the arduous exercise of getting Hal B’s attention and told him it is empty to which he replied«well, that’s the best kind.» No apology, no I’ll be right back with it. Once again I am invisible. Hal B has check in his apron but is attending to tables to the right and left. Finally, I received my check, gave my credit card and waited some time again to get it back and then happily left. I understand being a single patron during happy hour, a server will make a better tip with four, six tops but everyone should be treated courteously. Hal B is unprofessional and rude. Because I realize the implications of happy hour specials I always tip 50% of the bill! But not this time, Hal B!

Bravo Cucina Italiana — Naples, otherwise referred to as Bravo, is one of the few chain restaurants that we patronize. This is one of our favorites. As a matter of fact, when we first started going to it, we thought it was a local restaurant. We were surprised to find out otherwise. Many local restaurants have staffing issues because of the seasonality of the area. Bravo seems to have figured it out because they always have sufficient staff. As a matter of fact, many of their staff and management have been there for quite awhile. They have a good variety of food, the food is always excellent and it is reasonably priced. Sometimes we will just stop in for bar bites and cocktails. The lasagna is probably the best I have ever had. Now I’m not Italian, so others may disagree, but from my perspective, it is the best. The only thing that keeps me from ordering it more often is the serving size. It is generous and more than I need to eat. They also have an open kitchen, so if you enjoy watching people cook, grab a seat in the back. On our most recent visit, we had the Grilled Tilapia with Crab + Shrimp and the Chicken Caprese. Both were excellent, along with the bread. Some of our other favorites are the Shrimp Napoli and Pasta Woozie. They have a light menu, as well. If you are a people watcher, you cannot beat Bravo’s patio. It is strategically positioned to view the Mercato shopping and restaurant traffic, as well as the parking garage foot traffic. And if you are there later in the evening, you will view the younger crown going to the 3-night clubs around the corner; Cavo Lounge, Burn by Rocky Patel and the Blue Martini. They also have free valet parking which comes in real handy, in Season.

Great spot for lunch or dinner. Expect good food, service and ambiance. Salads, pizzas will be ordered again… and the steak special was surprisingly good. A no-brainier go-to spot if you’re looking for a wide menu offering and a fun scene.

Had a good meal with friends at the Mercado location in Naples. Delicious salad before dinner and a well prepared entrée of shrimp scampi. Our wait person was cheerful and efficient and happily took some nice pictures of us with our friends that we later posted on Facebook. We recommend and will return.

Nice, moderately upscale atmosphere. Good crowd. Indoor or terrace. Service 5 star. Noise moderately high. Prices commensurate to setting. Go if you want good upscale Italian but don’t want to be overly formal.

Our waitress was interesting. The bread was okay, the dipping oil was weird. The mini calzones were not that good. I got the woozie which was next to tasteless and the chicken was dry. The Alfredo wasn’t bad though needed like some garlic taste to it. I wouldn’t recommend coming here. Maybe go to the pub instead. Or bricktops.

Great value, great food and superb atmosphere. We have been customer’s for several years and have not had a bad experience yet. Aaron is the best server ever!

One of my first visits to the Naples area we were recommended to visit Bravo! and Bravo it was… the food, ambiance, staff and service were fantastic. Being on vacation always makes it important to have a nice dining experience and the outside seating overlooking the great Mercato area was an extra treat. I cannot wait for my visit in April to enjoy the great restaurant.

Like it’s sister restaurant(Brio), Bravo has excellent food. And, like Brio, you better be early or have a reservation. Only negative I have is that you want to make sure you are not seated on the theater side of the inside seating — path from the kitchen. The foot traffic in and out of the kitchen is bothersome. It has outdoor seating and I would opt for that when the weather is warm enough.

This place was really great! I have no complains! The lunch specials are amazing and the location as well. I consider it a better version of Brio because the décor is very similar but their pasta dishes are much better. I would definitely go again.

Excellent food, very reasonable prices — and very nice service. We were running late for our reservation on a Friday night but called to tell them that — and when we got there 20 minutes or so late, they took us right to a table. They did not have to do that, but it sure makes one loyal. All of us enjoyed our food(party of four). Tab for my wife and me with an entrée and a drink each was just over $ 50, which is very reasonable for a good restaurant in Naples. Highly recommended.

Make sure you call ahead, because like most restaurants in Mercato, Bravo gets full extremely fast! The service I have experienced here is hit and miss, with nothing spectacular to rave about. However, I would most assuredly recommend the Chicken, Spinach And Bacon Flatbread, it is out of this world!

Been visiting Naples all week, eating out every night. Met some friends who are locals on Sunday night, and they picked this place. The reason I gave 5 stars was b/c it was not just excellent, but also a good value for a nice place w/excellent food. Everyone loved their entrees, and it’s refreshing to be able to get a great«add-on» salad for under $ 5 extra. The menu is large, the physical space big, but with a good vibe. It fact, it was really packed an jammin when we went, but we had a reservation and didn’t have to wait for a good table. The service was very good too, and it didn’t break the bank.

This is a restaurant owned by the same group that owns Brio’s Italian Grill For some reason we like this restaurant better than its sister located at the waterside shops, it’s not just the menu but the quality and flavor of each meal Like most Italian restaurants you have indoor and outdoor seating, we prefer the high tops by the bar for quick service and great people watching We have never had a bad meal, but we prefer the salads and the happy hour, this time of year in Naples the weather is perfect for this restaurant Like most of Naples, the restaurants are pricey but this is average by comparison and their quality of food makes it worth the price in our opinion Valet parking is adjacent to the restaurant which is a plus for convenience especially during season The Sunday brunch is worth a try as well although the majority of our meals are dinner, if we are going to the movie theater and want to grab dinner and a show this is always our first stop

Very nice décor, the portion size for the sandwich are fairly small however they do pack a punch in taste. I went with the turkey bacon avocado and it was delish! My gf pointed out that the grilled chicken was a bit too spicy. Other than than this restaurant receives a solid –A only because our waiter kinda forget us at some points of our brunch. Other than that I would recommend this place, just make sure to get a side salad or soup if you do decide to pick a sandwich.

We were at Bravo on August 18th for my daughters birthday. There were 7 in our group and we had excellent service and our server had no problem dividing into 4 separate bills. We all enjoyed our meals. Loved the Italian Wedding soup! The fresh herb bread was warm and fresh – they bring oil for dipping, I asked for butter and our server brought some right away! One guest told our server about the birthday and he brought a 3 sampler dessert with a candle and we all sang Happy Birthday! Very nice touch. The ambiance is very nice and comfortable although the tables are a bit too close together. Overall a very good experience. We could not sit outside as it had been raining, but a very nice patio overlooking Mercato.

Not going back! Very generic. Feels like a Cheesecake Factory restaurant inside. Not only is it boring in there, the service was bad, and the food was mediocre. We started with soups. The lobster bisque just didn’t taste right, and I quest what the lobster meat was. The clam chowder was the special soup of the day. Not only was it cold when they brought it to me, but the flavoring was way off. The only good thing about it was there was a lot of clam, but that doesn’t matter when it tastes wrong. The 2 meals were just ok, and I don’t feel like wasting my breath on it. The only good thing there was the rosemary bread they brought to the table.

Another place recommended and it was mostly great! The hostess said that during the winter season, the lines are out the door. Even now, in April, it was packed and did what was recommended. Call about 30 minutes earlier if you know the time you want to eat and no longer have to wait there more than a few minutes if busy. They have a «bar bites» menu in addition to the regular menu that has specials from 4−7pm. These portions are halved and so are the prices… but was enough for two to share, very generous portions for the price and great selections. We dined outside on the patio, very pleasant. But indoors was equally as impressive. I posted some great pix. We shared a lot of food this trip… and finished it all!!! Bar Bites selections: Crispy Shrimp Napoli in a phenomenal red pepper sauce GREAT!!! Caprese salad enough for two. VG!!! Entrees: Chicken and extra veggies(instead of pasta) in a red pepper cream sauce(very flavorful but just a few pieces of chicken, not the nice roasted thick pieces, disappointed) Grilled Pork Chop, thick glazed chop w/herbal butter sauce, very flavorful, enjoyed it, Tuscan potatoes and veggies(only the potatoes were boring, not much flavor) We will certainly be back more than once as there were nice selections on both menus, but interested in more of those bar bites that were floating around a lot. I hadn’t realized till halfway through the meal that our waiter never mentioned the specials for the evening as I overheard nearby and we weren’t served any bread. I’ll know better next time. But he did recommend his faves and I agreed for the most part. He was helpful, just forgetful. Next time.
