Weight Watchers

I go to this weight watchers very early on Saturdays. I generally don’t have to wait to weigh in, which makes me happy as I often don’t stay for the meetings — just weigh in. The facility is neat and clean, and the staff are all very friendly. They make me feel welcome every week and help me celebrate successes and give great advice for not so great weeks. I will continue to go here, despite the location being a little bit inconvenient (but that’s my fault more than anything). I do wish that they had some earlier weigh in times on week days. I am a morning person and would like to go before work, but because it’s out of the way and due to the traffic in Naperville, that’s not possible currently.

The only time I’ve ever been to a different location was when I was out of town. I absolutely love this store! Before my daughter was working full time, she always came with me to my meetings and weigh-​ins. They never had a problem with that even though she wasn’t a member. I love most of the leaders, especially Patti! She’s sooo encouraging & empathetic. When I had surgery, she mailed me a get well card! She even gives hugs! I found more convenient locations for me to go to, but I won’t go to any other. Even my daughter said that’s the only one she would only go there if she needed to join.

So, I only ever go here on Fridays around lunchtime or Saturdays around 1pm, just to weigh in. I stuck around for a meeting one time, and there were only 4 people there. the other times, the place is pretty empty. The people are friendly, but I sometimes feel like when I drop in around 1pm, they are a bit inconvenienced (they close at 2). But they always weigh me without any questions, so I can’t complain too much. I prefer the meetings at the Danada Square location, but this storefront is good too and has all the same retail items (usually on sale too!). Plus, it’s a double-​whammy if I’m going grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s afterwards.
Please note, this parking lot is INSANITY on Saturdays, all times of the day. Have fun.
