Mike D. is the guy to ask for. He was on time, friendly, and professional.
He was patient as my wife and I thought about changing the grout color. Mike saved the day, and future arguments with my wife by suggesting we choose this one color over another. He even did a test strip of three colors.
Simply said, I highly recommend hiring Grout Medic. We now love our tile floor!

Joe from Grout Medic did an outstanding job on our tile shower. He replaced failed grout, stripped out all caulk, steam cleaned the tile, color matched the grout, and recalled with high quality product. He also re-​caulked two other tubs and steam cleaned the tile. What a difference. Everything looks like new again. I highly recommend using this company based on their workmanship and ethic.

We had grout medic come out to fix grout in our shower, it seemed fine for a few days. Then the leaking began again, we called and that same day Ron came over and repaired it again. He was so apologetic and professional I would highly recommend this company. They stand behind their work!

Grout Medic did an excellent renewal of the shower. Even tho I always wipe the tile and shower floor, spray with vinegar, still needed a cleaning. Thrilled with the results. Don’t let any negative reviews give you doubt. They were fine to dealing with, scheduling, getting the job done, etc. My response when I first saw the renewed shower «amazing’!. thank you Grout Medic.

Ron responded to a post I did on Service Magic (now Home Advisor) a few years ago about refinishing my wood floor. They came out, assured me they could do what I requested, and then didn’t — when I talked to them they said it would now cost $ 700 more to do what I actually asked. That was 3 years ago and I am now having my floors redone again because it makes me so angry every time I look at them. I wish I could post photos of the splotchy stain job and the crap and goop he actually sealed into the floor. He also got stain all over the moldings at floor level and did nothing to touch them up. I have to echo the bait-​n-​switch and the poor customer service in terms of scheduling that other reviewers have mentioned. So thankful that I have found a competent professional to do the job right and will not have to look at this sloppy workmanship any longer.

We are remodeling a home in Bolingbrook and called Grout Medic to give us estimate on repairing the grout in the kitchen and two bathrooms. Ron came out and did a thorough examination of the floors and we even pointed out areas where the grout was coming out. On his hand and knees he said the former homeowner tried to put some stuff over the old grout and he could fix it and clean the tiles and it would «look like new».
When they showed up to complete the task, Ron stated that the entire kitchen would have to be re-​grouted. He admitted he did a lousy job estimating but it was going to cost considerably more.
Based on Ron’s initial estimate, we chose to keep the existing tile and have it cleaned and repaired instead of replaced. We selected matching cabinets and had then installed before Grout Medic arrived. Now what? It’s too late to rip out and return the cabinets!
I told Group Medic to pack it up and leave the premises. You would be best to not even bother calling this poorly run and dishonest outfit. Being in business myself, I know an honorable business stands by their estimates even when it turns out to be off and they have to eat the cost. Ron did not offer that or any other accommodation to offset the damage they caused.
STAY AWAY!

Does not have good customer service. Very unaccommodating when it comes to scheduling especially when it is an error on their end. There are many other companies out there that are much better.

With the myriad improvement projects that we have going on our 50 year old home (it doesn’t look a day over 49 years old), we made the strategic decision to forego a total bathroom rennovation, and instead conduct an «aesthetic upgrade”-a term I just now coined. You know, paint, new fixtures, new lighting, etc. The floor tile was still in really good shape, but the grout was ugly. We called Joe at Grout Medic and we were quite pleased that we did. The grout looks new, and the price was very reasonable. Also, quick in and out. We would definitely use Grout medic again.
