Don’t recomend this place at all. This was my first time n ofcourse the last sadly. There is way lot better food at Shree or hot bread. Just a drive bit more n get better food. Here at tandoor hut their curries were taste less and watery. Also chicken biryani was awfull. Not wasting my money again…

I was short on cash and did not have enough to pay for my food. The man working there told me it’s ok and still gave me everything I ordered. I love the samosas there and getting the butter chicken with the naan. Everyone is so nice. They greet you when you enter and give you samples after making your chaat to make sure you like it. I don’t understand how some people are saying this place is rude. Every time I have been inside I have been treated very well and I have been there over a dozen times. I’ll be back!

Was extremely disappointed, that we were forced to throw away too much food! We weren’t allowed to take leftovers with us! Owner/Manager missed the point, when he was trying to explain the value of a thali! There are 795 million hungry in the world. I know my thali doesn’t make a difference, but my conscience and my actions do.

Sorry the chicken biryani lacked taste. The lamb kabab did not have accompanying chutney(mint). Did not try vegetarian options or nan.

Delicious, delicious Indian food. My go-to dishes are the Channa Masala and the Paneer Butter Masala(both vegetarian), with a healthy serving of Naan. Whenever my family wants to enjoy some delicious masalas without putting in the effort to cook, we choose this spot. Never had a problem with the food; it’s always well portioned and well priced(every so often I find myself needing another naan, but that’s a rather minor problem). Definitely consider getting take-out from here if you want to spice up(no pun intended!) a family dinner that otherwise would be pizza, burgers, or sandwiches.

This is the real deal Indian food. Seriously, reminds me of traveling through India way back when. I’ve been here twice now and tried different dishes each time. The chicken biryani and the shahi paneer were my favorites. And the lunch thali is a great value. Only suggestion for them: put a small sign with the cost of the chai above the self-serve And ps — the chai is so yummy, definitely the real deal and not something you would get in a chain coffeeshop.

I FOUND A PIECEOFSTEELDISHSCUBBINGSPONGEINMYFOOD! when i asked the man to wrap up my chicken pieces in the naan to make it as a «to go» roll… he looked at me half dazed and confused, as if he’d never heard of indian tandoori naan/paratha wraps before. I think the owner woke up one morning and thought, «I can make money by opening up a restaurant!» Terrible Terrible representation of Indian cuisine. Go to Sara’s eastern grill in the showplace theatre area 5 minutes down the street for a somewhat better representation of Indian food.

The tastiest meal I’ve had all week. It’s going to knock something off my weekly restaurant list. The spices were all perfect, the naan warm and shift, and the presentation perfect in the new metal trays. I am pleasantly stuffed for about $ 10.50 but I did get a $ 3 lassi yogurt drink. My only suggestion to get transparent plastic lids so that Indian food novices can see the various dishes or put more of then up on the 8 tvs they have.

Overall the food here is good. Definetly one of the best tandoori chicken, if you wait if just come out of the owen. But I have to agree the service is very worst. The staffs at the front show too much attitude and ignore customers. This was a main complaint from many of my friends as well. I like their chicken dishes but not going here just because of the service. Good — Tantoori chicken, chicken curry disher, veg/non-veg combo, nan, chapati Bad — Service, briyani, vegi dishes(quality is not consistent everytime)

My new favorite. This place is good, inexpensive and simple for the untrained india-(food)-lover. Service is great — considering what this place is, one step up from a deli. But please keep this in mind, otherwise you will be disappointed. I am a huge fan, their naan is great and everything I’ve tried is delicious. Highly recommend the combos, amazing deal!

This place is bad. And I mean bad. I got the chicken roll which had a few pieces of chicken and was super soggy. Tasted awful. The chicken had am uncooked after taste and it was filled with veggies. Now I d OK nt mind my veggies but when I pay $ 8 for something with the word chicken in it, I am not happy to get veggies. Over all the place is alright at best. Not professional at all which I suppose is a peeve but they spoke a different language the whole time. Wore no gloves and although the man who helped me was kind, I did not like the food and definitely did not get money’s worth. Also I went to use the restroom amd it was DISGUSTING! !!! Someone once told me to judge a place by is bathroom, and tp this day, I have found it to be true time and time again. I would not recommend this place

I’ve driven past this place many times and decided to stop in last week. It must have been between the lunch and dinner rush, because there were no other customers around and some of the workers looked like they were chilling out watching some Indian TV program.(Sorry to ruin your break, fellas!) Now, if you can get over the fact that they have fly paper that needs to be changed hanging precariously over the serving area, then do give the food a try. The folks behind the counter were very helpful in helping me choose what to get. I had a two curry combo, butter chicken and an eggplant curry(along with rice and naan). Both curries were awesome. The mango lassi I had with the combo was a bit lackluster, but hit the spot on a hot summer day. The butter chicken was so good I had a double order to go. I’d probably hang out here more often if the place had WiFi, but I’ll definitely return for more.

I’ve always been iffy about places that serve cafeteria style(who knows how long that food’s been there!) but I’ve heard great things about the authenticity of the food here. The first impression was pretty sad– random strip mall, no décor, sneeze guards, etc. The staff was very friendly though and let me sample a few things while I figured out what I wanted to order. I got the butter chicken(tikka masala), veggie samosa, and an order of naan. I was a little surprised at the small portion size given the price, but the portion of naan was pretty big so I guess that’s fair. They did have a dine-in lunch special, which gives you five(small portions) different entrees for $ 8. Honestly, I would love to have gotten that but I really didn’t feel like trying all those dishes alone in that kind of atmosphere. The samosa was good; I might start stopping by here to get them for my afternoon snacks. The naan isn’t as fluffy as I usually like, but the only real problem I had with it is that my stomach is too small to fit all of its buttery goodness. Sad. Nothing about Tandoor Hut was mindblowing, but if you’re looking for a quick fix for an Indian food craving, it’ll do just fine.

Although the Tandoor Hut is located inside the strip mall that time forgot, it’s pretty awesome. Just be prepared: — It’s kind of crusty on the inside, and it’s cafeteria-style, sneeze guards and all — If you’re an Indian food novice, it’s a little intimidating But it’s so good. The staff was really helpful when we were trying to decide on what to order. You can get free samples to taste stuff! And the best part is, they totally trusted us enough to pay for dinner after we ate. It gave me warm fuzzies. The highlights of the meal for me were the naan and the chili chicken. The naan came on a huge plate all warm, buttery, and awesome. The chili chicken was chunks of chicken fried with some peppers and then totally covered in red pepper flakes. So hot, so good, but not for the faint of stomach. This b has an iron stomach, so I am in love.
