My 5 stars is ONLY for Shari! Shari is amazing. It was the best customer service I have ever received from a hair stylist, and I have been to many. She made the entire appointment fun and relaxing. She listened very well and gave me the exact color and cut I wanted. I could not have been happier with my experience start to finish — from meeting Shari to her walking me to the counter. Thank you!

One of the best bikini waxes I’ve ever had. I’d gone to the same person for over 10 years, but I moved and this was close and highly rated. Gerda at the 75th St. salon is so thorough and professional, I definitely plan to return. Few estheticians include all the tricks in their services and she does. She preps, she waxes, plucks, trims, cleans, and trims. She’s also super friendly. I’m very pleased.

If you want to get your hair colored, do not go to Amy. I showed her a picture and explained that I wanted blonde hair. I already had dark blonde hair with some grey. Without telling my in the consultation, she decided I had natural red tones. She dyed my hair a type of light red which came out orange. The next day she fit me in to fix it, and even with putting in a few blonde highlights, my hair was still orange. She explained she could not longer go blonde because she did not want to put too much dye in my hair and possibly damage it. I understand not wishing to damage it, but I wish she would have simply done what I asked her for during the first appointment. If she had told me she was going to add any red when she talked to me during the consultation, I would have told her not to put any red at all.

I was a walk in, and got an appointment later the same day with Holly. She has been with the company for 30 years so I was impressed by that. She did a great job, asked me lots of questions on what I wanted and was very knowledgable regarding color treatments. My cut and color looks great and I look forward to going back.

A most relaxing place with warm and caring staff and technicians, I’d be happy to return very soon. I originally went only because I received a 20% off coupon in the mail upon moving to the neighborhood, so I used it for my mani/​pedi before my sister’s wedding. Four days later, both still look completely new.
After I arrived I asked whether I could get reflexology with the pedicure. My technician wasn’t trained for it, so I got the extended foot massage instead — it was amazing. I don’t think I could have danced all night without it.
Prices are great and they mail you coupons afterward. I hope to try the swedish massage very soon. I think it’s notable that they solicit feedback right away, which is another thing that sets them apart from that other huge salon I’ve tried a few times.
