Stopped in after a lunch at Juicy-o and the owner was the NICEST person. welcoming, knowledgable, friendly. The clothes were nicely displayed with plenty of room to move them around on racks and really see what they looked like. The selection was high end and they even had things in plus 12 sizes. I particularly loved the jewelry selection. wonderful gem stoned colored bracelets and necklaces at bargain prices. I definitely will come back when I have a job to outfit my new career!

De Ja Vous doesn’t have rack after rack of clothing crammed together. But what they lack in quantity they make up for in quality. The first item that caught my eye was a pair of black Sperry Top-Siders for only $ 25! They looked spankin’ new, and these usually run at least $ 80 in department stores. Too bad they were two sizes too small… There were at least two racks of various dresses, and not just your typical business casual thrift-store stuff. There were juniors and misses sparkly, sequined cocktail dresses — plenty of bold options for homecoming and more understated options for events like a wedding. I purchased a tan Anne Klein blazer for $ 25. It still had the original tags from Macy’s, $ 100, attached. The resale tag was missing, so when I asked the lady behind the counter, she first noticed a small pink stain on the shoulder. It looked like lipstick, and she immediately bust out a bottle of cleaner and worked the stain out. She insisted that she did not want to sell the jacket to me without getting the stain out first. Once the stain was out, she went over to the rack and told me that most of her blazers sell for $ 25, and since the tag was missing, that’s what she could offer to me. Deal! There were a few other items missing the resale/consignment tags, so if you want to consign here, keep a list of what you give them. The lady mentioned that sometimes little kids get grabby with the tags and she tries to keep up with what sells without tags. I’m assuming that this is how things get lost or mistakenly sold for a lesser price at some other consignment stores I’ve read complaints about. There’s also a big selection of handbags worth looking at. I saw a few Coach, Michael Kors, and Dooney & Bourke hanging on the racks. I can’t emphasize enough how great the service was here. Some of the clothing items are a little more matronly and geared toward an older crowd, but all ages can find something here.

The owner is a doll, super considerate and polite to both customers and consignors. She has class and manners! Her store is very much like a fancy French clothing boutique(without the attitude), well-organzied and just lovely! I bought a brand new,(all tags still on from Lord & Taylor), evening gown for $ 60 and it is Red Carpet worthy! I bought a gorgeous full-length beaver coat for $ 500. Yes, sounds pricey, but ohhhhh so gorgeous(originally from York Furriers). I also found a very high end blouse by a lesser known British designer that retailed for over $ 200 and got it for $ 12! Prices vary so dig deep and visit often! Definitely put De Ja Vous resale boutique on your thrift store agenda. Everything is just amazing and you will never find outdated, damaged clothing here. ITISWORTHTHETRIP! PS — They are closed on Sundays & Mondays.
