Julia Sargis represented these picky buyers on the purchase of our next home. At our initial meeting, we provided Julia with specifics on the type of home and our budget. Julia went to work and promptly located several properties. Julia showed us/walked us through several properties, pointing things out we may have missed as well as gave us some excellent suggestions. Whenever we had any questions, Julia was always very quick to respond. We were extremely impressed with Julia’s professionalism, courtesy, and her display of respect to the sellers and of their homes. From our initial meeting to our closing, Julia’s expertise helped make this process flow smoothly. Julia is a confident professional with a strong knowledge of the real estate market and her areas. Julia Sargis is a sincere, hard working professional that was committed to helping us find exactly what we were looking for. She did! Much respect to Julia Sargis and Baird & Warner. Julia went above and beyond. Thank you…

YOUNGBUYERS/RENTERS BEWARE! Me and my boyfriend had to work with Christine Thompson from Baird & Warner. At first she seemed nice enough. We found a condo online and requested a showing. After we saw it and decided to sign the lease we were given Christine’s info since she represented the owner of the condo. She was absolutely unprofessional and only wanted to get her money. First she was in charge of typing up the lease and giving it to us. She refused to match the info. from the listing to the lease.(Online it said all utilities except electric were included and on the lease she gave me it says I had to pay for more) When I brought this issue up to her she told me that what she was giving me was their general lease template and she can’t make any changes to it. She then made a note saying that we will only have to pay what the HOA requires. BUT she REFUSED to give us the HOA rules and regulations. She acted very rude at the signing of our lease. We met her at the condo to sign it, make our down payment, and receive our keys. She asked us to make out the checks a certain way so they only went to Baird and Warner and not the management company so she could get her money faster(aka her cut of the deal). When we gave her our money she gave us a dirty look and said where is the rest?! Apparently we missed an email she sent saying we needed an extra $ 1000. She gave us the keys and had us go to the bank and get a cashiers check to drop off at her office. While we were doing this she kept texting us saying«Please go get that check for me! I was not supposed to give you the keys without it.» Next under the section on the lease where it says our parking spot it said TBD. We inquired about this before we signed it and she told us everyone was very relaxed here and we can park anywhere until«someone» gave us our parking info. MYCARGOTTOWED a couple of days later and I was out of $ 200. When I brought this up to her she said«I am not your realtor and I politely refuse to answer any management questions» You can imagine our frustration because she didn’t give us ANY contacts to call if something like this occurred. She didn’t and wouldn’t give us the owners contact info. She couldn’t get our management companies straight and just gave us their general customer service number to get our parking info. The only phone number she gave us on the lease in the owner section was an independently contracted maintenance man and when we reached out to him he said he did not give her permission to give out his cell phone number and he couldn’t help us. I could not believe that she treated us this way. As soon as she got her money she cut off contact and didn’t finish doing her job. I was so desperate to get any information from her I had my father(who is also a practicing lawyer for over 20 years) reach out to her and she simply responded with a text«I respectfully decline to help you and thanks for telling your dad on me.» I didn’t tell her he was a lawyer at the time because I didn’t want to sound threatening, but I needed info. and I have a feeling if I did tell her he is a lawyer she may have acted differently. OVERALL me and my boyfriend feel that if we were older this would not have happened. We are 24&25 both with full time jobs, but look very young. We couldn’t imagine that someone who was older or looked older would have gotten this same treatment. It was a truly awful experience and definitely wouldn’t recommenced her or Baird & Warner to anyone.

DISHONESTANDUNPROFESSIONAL! I relocated her over a year ago and the relocation company recommended Baird & Warner for a lease and eventual purchase of a home. The branch manager Bill Gill and property management team of Edwin Hojnacki and Frank Passaro are dishonest and unprofessional. Forged the closeout documents and lied about what we accepted. This office cost me $$$$ between the town home lease and purchase. Bill told me to get an attorney and they would not interrupt the lease for me! REALLY!!! I will never recommend or use Baird & Warner again.

Wish I could give ZERO stars. Sadly dealing with Julie Kaczor was the worst experience ever. She wasted six months of our time. She is more of a lister and not a seller. She does not do her own open houses and is slow to return calls and emails(if you even get one). She was always very rushed. We were not getting a lot of showings and we couldn’t understand it. The ones we did have we had to hunt her down to get feedback. She was not proactive at all. I really felt something was very wrong with the listing. Turns out I was correct. In the area of the listing for agents only she uploaded a document about our house she shouldn’t have. It was information on our dryvit and what needed to be repaired. I found out from a friend who is an agent who could see the document. When we received the report she wanted a copy and we handed it to her. At some point someone scanned and uploaded it essentially blackballing our house. When the repairs were done we emailed her a PDF version of the report. That version never made it to the agent section of the listing. Instead she blamed me for sending her the wrong version, when I never scanned the incorrect report, they did. My husband then proceeded to pull the sign out himself and go on a rager at her office. Luckily the managing broker was smart enough to get us out of the contract immediately. That stress caused him chest pains(have you ever pulled out a ‘for sale’ sign without any help or tools??) and he went to the ER twice in 48 hours, a week after that he ended up there again with an intestinal bacterial infection(what better place to catch an antibiotic resistant infection than a hospital?) that kept him in the hospital for two days. I blame her for all this. In fact she cost us money for all the hospital bills and our wasted time. We relisted about three weeks after ending our relationship with her. Found a wonderful agent who pulled the incorrect info off the MLS and we had a ton of showings, even during the Christmas holidays. In four months we received the best offer and just recently closed. The disdain I have for this woman is beyond anything I have ever imagined. Thanks to Jack Kelley at Keller Williams for being the agent we wish we’d found in the first place.

I am new to town. I received a recommendation for Baird & Warner and they couldn’t have been more accommodating! Within 24 hours, they compiled many listings for me, along with a booklet of all the properties, maps, Unilocal reviews of local joints and all the property information… and I am just renting! Within 24 hours of the call, I was viewing properties! Edwin is very personable. He even gave me a tour of Naperville, along with a history lesson, because I was new to town! When it is time for me to buy, I will definitely be using Baird & Warner.

My agent, Christine Thompson, has been phenomenal to work with! I am in the middle of a difficult divorce and needed to sell my home. Christine has been there every step of the way during this process. She has been very understanding, as this has not been an easy transaction, primarily due to the circumstances. She has been receptive to my wishes, but at the same time willing to offer her expert advice. Christine does a beautiful job of being patient yet aggressive. Not only did Christine help me find a buyer for my home, but she helped my find an awesome new place fo me and my kids to move… OVERTHECHRISTMAS/NEW YEARS holidays!!! If you’re looking for an agent who works hard at what she does, look no further than Christine Thompson of Baird & Warner in Naperville. I know I won’t when I look to move again in two years.
