I love having this little mini-park close to home. It has a small playground for the neighborhood kids and a big open field for the older kids. Besides being able to play tag, soccer, etc. there are a couple basketball hoops too. I like it because my dogs can walk through the park to catch up with all of their 2 and 4 legged friends. The park has dog waste bags at the entrance and several trash cans too. There are a couple tables for picnics and socializing. Though it isn’t an off-leash park there are several people that have their dogs off leash. Most of these dogs are very well trained and do not bother me or my small dogs while we also enjoy the park(on leash). There are some dogs who while incredibly friendly do not quite have the willpower of my well trained friends. They sometimes overwhelm my little dogs and none of us appreciate that. And even with the convenient and easy access to poo pick-up bags some of my neighbors do not clean up after their dogs. This is no complaint of the dogs — they are doing what all dogs should do — be friendly & poop! Now if we could just get the people to behave, the park would be a 5!
