Pablo’s Precision Cuts

First let me say that the guys and Melva do an amazing job at cutting hair. They do an amazing time and they take their time. I’ve been bringing my son here for 2 months now. Never disappointed. He’s 10 and he loves it. I however just had a shockingly experience. I wish I knew her name. The other woman with blondish hair. So called hair stylist. I’m not so mad at how my hair came out. I’m mad and so surprised how much I feel ripped off!!! She has the nerve to charge me $ 120 for one color process. One hair treatment. And if you consider cutting ¼ inch off my hair a «haircut» — I didn’t ask for layers not facial trims. She barely put a blow dryer to my hair. I didn’t want it styled. I seriously have gone to numerous places and for convenience I said let me give them a shot. They didn’t give me a receipt because they just don’t give receipts. Which is fine, but when I mention how expensive it was the lady who did my hair says take $ 20 off. Are you serious?!! She did nothing special. I like this little shop. Mom and pap barber shop/​hair salon. I want to support the Hispanics and the local community, but you cannot tell me that you are charging me $ 120 for the «service» I received. I’m Spanish and yes I have gone to other places. My hair is naturally straight, it’s what you call good hair. It doesn’t take effort to get it done. For God sakes. It took her less than a minute to cut my ends in a straight line! Ripped off and disappointed. And I didn’t feel like I should give her a tip and I still gave her $ 10. I’m so pissed off. I’m furious because I should have refused to pay. If I was going to pay for what she did to my hair. I would have paid at the most $ 45 for dying my hair. She did a black color. $ 15 for the hair treatment she left of for 5 minutes under the dryer because I know she was trying to get out by 6pm and $ 8 – 10 for the stupid not even a ¼ inch off my hair. If you want to call me please let me know. Only way I will take this down is when they pay me my money back. The more I look at my hair the more upset I get. I left there with my hair still wet. No way that’s $ 120!!!

No pagarian $ 120 dolares para lo que me hiso la señora con pelo rubio. Soy hispana y tratando de soportar la comunidad hispana. Pero disfortunadamente sali peor que si no mas viera hido a un lugar Americano. Es un robo lo que me cobraron. $ 120 cuando puedo ir a otro lugar de lujo. Si me viera cobrado hasta $ 70 lo viera entendido.
Don’t get the beauty hair done here. It’s not worth it. I’ve been to far better places and for a lot less. I should have stuck to what I know.
I can name other places in the Hispanic community that don’t charge that. Don’t tell me that they do! Even JCpenny Hair Salon doesn’t charge me that when I get a full head of bayalage highlights !??
You put one hair color on me, and not an expensive hair treatment.
Hadn’t this happen I would have rated this place a 4 – 5 star. I feel bad for the others. But no one likes to get ripped off.
Oh and did I mention the same woman when she cut my son’s hair — I asked for change and she didn’t give to me so I could tip a larger amount.

I’ve been back twice now and both Pablo and the barber next to him are great barbers. Most recently got a cut from Pablo and i’m very impressed with his skills and attention to detail. you can find a cheaper barber but probably not a better one. I’m accustomed to barbers that work by appointment which this shop does not take but even with the 20 – 30 minute wait I will still be back.
As a side note I brought my 8 year old daughter along and one of the ladies on staff gave her a great haircut so Pablo’s will be a family destination from now on.

This is the best place to get a great haircut for reasonable price. I am from india and i always wanted to find a place in the US which used scissors and razor for the precision and accurate cut and not just the machine. most chain saloons which have under $ 20 haircut only use the machine and i never get the haircut quality that i used to get in India. After reading reviews on Unilocal i checked this place out and i have get 2 haircuts here since. Excellent use of scissors and Pablo did great work to give me a cut i exactly needed after i showed him a picture of mine the that haircut. Will always go here for haircuts now!

I started coming immediately once Pablo left his old place at Franks barber shop. Pablo gives awesome haircuts which always look good. I am glad he now opened up his own shop as Pablo has a dedicated group of followers that will follow him anywhere me included. Also brought my girl here for mani and pedi, which she loved because Pablo also has his wife here to take care of nails. Overall great place and atmosphere which I highly recommend. Pablo is a wizard with the straight razor which is rare in this area so great lines, shape ups, and fades.

Great place with great owners. Short waits if any, great haircuts and a good crowd. It’s a great place for any hair style any age.

The name of this barber shop says it all. Pablo is meticulous with the clippers and straight razor, skills that are not easily found in the area, believe me. He takes his time and gets it done right. Really glad I found this place.
