First time trying this place. The food was generic and cold. Sausage gravy made without sausage. Tasted like instant mix. It felt nice inside. Homey. Now if they could get a new cook it might be worth visiting again. NOT!

Fantastic best describes our experience! We held our softball team dinner here and everything went great. We used the banquet facilities and everything was clean & ready for us when we arrived. The meals were reasonably priced and we were able to order from the complete menu – no limitations. All the meals were delicious and nobody went away hungry. Our waitress was attentive and made sure our meals arrived hot and in a timely manner. Kudos to Gayle Latscha and her staff for making our experience at Canyon Creek most enjoyable!

We’ve eaten there several times and the food has been good. Decent salad bar too. They could use more servers though.

Filthy… filthy…and filthy! Walking up you see weeds, unmanicured lawn, dirty building & sidewalks. Inside the dust is thick on drapes, valances, lighting fixtures etc. Now, one can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. Food had no flavor… terrible. It’s too bad because it is attached to the Shilo Inn.

We were here several times in one week for breakfast. The first day we were there our poor waitress was holding down the fort doing the jobs of a few people. The next few time we were there they were well staffed. We had great service and really terrific breakfast. We were all happy to have this as a place to have an early breakfast right next to our hotel.

This is a restaurant located in the Shilo Inn hotel right off of(and just north of) I-84. It’s unremarkable — think«non-franchise Denny’s». Nothing spectacular. The soup appears to be homemade: I had the chicken noodle soup, and it was pretty good. Oh, I’m on a diet right now, but I did see my all time favorite, the Monte Cristo sandwich on the menu… I was dying to try it, but I’ll leave that to someone else. $ 21 for me and my parents before tip: very reasonable.
