Who is that man in the Fedora? Love seeing him working behind the meat counter!!! Pellicano’s is a trip to little Italy… the smells hit you as soon as you walk in the door. Bread, cheese, meat… yum. If there is ever anything I need for an Italian recipe I know I can find it here. My purchase was small today but I can’t find delicious TURKEY Italian sausage anywhere but here and who else carries Tempura battered Smelt? See what I mean… specialties galore. Cya soon Pellicano’s.

Going here for a while. Contrary to another poster, everything is fresh. Don’t see a cut of meat the way you want it, just ask and they’ll get you the perfect size

Sadly, very disappointed. Gave it one last (3rd) chance. Each time something I had brought home was — to put it mildly, «less than» fresh.

Thrilled that this little Italian market is on my way home from work. Last minute dinner guests? You can quickly pop in and grab everything you need for a great dinner; pasta, sauce, many brands of olive oil and vinegar, delicious bread from Portage bakery. Their cooked meatballs are delicious with Pellicanos sauce and shredded mozzarella. Fresh fruit and vegetables (enough of a selection to throw together a good salad) and of course Italian cookies and cannoli (fresh or frozen). The owner always says hello and the staff are accomodating and friendly.
Try the hot and spicy pickled asparagus .yum!

I love this place! Deli meats cut fresh and everyone is very nice and accommodating. I go here as much as possible for all my meats and grocery items.

Today was my second time in there and the staff at Pellicano’s has always been super friendly and more than helpful. I have asked for recommendations on different steaks and they have yet to steer me wrong. Prices seem to be less than the major grocery chains in this area as well, I live close and will continue to use them for the majority of my food shopping.
