This is an okay location– they are a little small and lacking in some departments that other Michael’s stores have, but that doesn’t stop me from going! (That’s really the only reason I can’t give them the full five)
Their staff is so helpful and super nice. They are always happy and don’t seem miserable, which can make an experience at a store terrible. Their parking lot is a bit weird because of it’s location/​the shopping center it is in, but I never really have a problem once I get to the appropriate area to park.
I would recommend this store to anyone in North Charleston looking for art (or some party) supplies.

It’s really nothing special. Just regular art stuffs and thangs.
They have an assortment of low line oils and acrylics, canvases, drawing paper.
I think their main focus leans more toward crafts and seasonal items.
If I need something, I’ll go here because it’s close to Best Buy and Barnes and Noble plus to avoid the Wal-​Mart area and it’s ripe clientele.

Clean, well organized, nice people — except the gent/​manager is very curt — and larger painter selection. Remember to either download the app or have their site on screen for the weekly discount.

A great place to go get art supplies. I always check the weekly ad to find the 40% off any item that isn’t on sale already. Which is hard because almost everything is always on sale. This isn’t a bad thing at all.
The selection of brushes always satisfies my need, the canvas selection is great too. If you can’t find the size that you want you can buy the materials to make it yourself. If you have never done anything like that though, it is recommended that you talk to the staff on what to buy and how to do it first.
The store is also great if you are looking for a new hobby, or just something to do to pass the time. Scrap booking materials are plentiful, model cars, paints, floral arrangements, beads, frames… they have a large selection of it all. So go ahead and visit this location!
Look for the clearance items when the major holidays are over too, you save so much!
