Biltmore Country Club has been the place to be for almost 90 years! I’d love to have the founding members visit the facility today. Improvements to the golf course and Beach Club have turned Biltmore into a world class facility. The small membership means that golf is always played in 4 hours or less and you never need a tee time. Golf with caddies, tennis, fishing, sailing and boating all without driving to Wisconsin. Biltmore may be the best kept secret in the Barrington area.

We joined Biltmore Country Club in 2003. We had our choice of several clubs in the area but decided Biltmore was the best choice for us. Twelve years later… no regrets. Food– Chef Mike does a terrific job of keeping the menu fresh. In addition, the special events and buffets are spectacular. I enjoy bringing friends and clients to dine at the club and they are always complementary. The menu stands up well against any restaurant in the area. Facility– A terrific facility, especially for families. A pool, private beach, and tennis courts are available to all members and activities are planned almost all year-round. Outdoor dining is available during the summer and the view, with the sunset, is terrific. Staff– Bill and the staff are terrifically accommodating. No request is too small or large. Again, I’d put the service level on par with the best restaurants in the region. Golf Course– Lets start with the course; I believe it is the best course in Barrington. It rewards good shot-making and penalizes poor shot making– what else can you ask from a course? The addition of Family tees means everyone from the A-Player to beginners will find the course enjoyable. Brian and the grounds team keep the course in terrific shape, despite the harsh Chicago weather. Most of my guests tell me it is the best maintained course in the area. Golf Staff– Doug, Matt, and the entire team are real Pro’s in every sense of the word. From the well merchandised Pro-Shop, to the Club golfing events, to lessons, they make golfers of every skill level feel comfortable, In addition, the locker room staff are the best I have ever been exposed to… in any club. Members– The Club focuses on a family-friendly environment. As such, there are younger members constantly joining the club to go along with those of us that have been here a while. It’s a great blend of new-blood and tradition. Atmosphere– Lets call it Country Club Casual– No you can’t wear cut-offs and flip flops in the dining room and men can’t wear tank-tops on the golf course. Get over it! However, jeans are allowed in the Grill Room which has a more casual atmosphere than the Biltmore Room where jackets are strongly suggested. All in all, it is right to call it Country Club Casual. Bottom line– a terrific Club for both the golfer or non-golfer. RB

We joined the club in June 2014 and have been so pleased with Biltmore. The club itself is beautiful… The food is amazing(literally the best dining in the area!)… The staff is wonderful to work with. We have enjoyed many of their social events, dine there often but have also hosted several private events —each time everything is top notch! Besides the dining and events the golf course is super nice and the beach/pool is perfect for any age. It’s the perfect place for our family to and«escape» during the summer. All our guests are consistently impressed as well. Not one bad thing I could say about Biltmore– highly recommend to all!

We had our daughters wedding reception at Biltmore in October of 2010. I cannot say enough good about the accommodations and the staff. The reception was 1000% better than I could have ever imagined. Bill Duy and his entire staff were exceptional. To this day, our guests that attended the wedding, still say it was the best reception that they have ever been to. The food was spectacular, the room was beautiful and everything was just perfect.

One of my all time favorite private courses. Super hilly, but good walking course because there isn’t a big gap between green and tee. They also have a great caddy program. There clubhouse is very family friendly. I never turn down a chance to play there.
