Big fan of the Pig(got the tee shirt). Like that they have WIFI, so I can check my email(mother-in-law does not have internet) as I am shopping. They have a great selection of prepared food. Nice selection of beer and wine, which makes one stop shopping. Plus that they have a dedicated bagger, so you get out of checkout faster.

Very nice inside. This is the place to go for craft beer and wine in Myrtle Beach as they have a huge selection with reasonable prices.

Steaks and ribeyes in the Meat section had a putrid green/brown color, we could only find one steak that looked pink. We will not be back.

Super nice inside! I get a luxury feel when going into a piggly wiggly! I usually don’t get that ‘woah’ feeling when entering a grocery store — but it’s up keep and design flow is really nice. The staff are friendly and helpful with any questions you bring to them. I gave 3 stars because I find the prices to be silly. Some items you would see for $ 1 and some odd change elsewhere but are closer to $ 3 at Piggly Wiggly. They also have an easy in/easy out Starbucks right when you walk in the front door! Good to know when walking around market common and need something to drink!

I was looking for a store to purchase some local craft beer. This is THE place for craft beer in Myrtle Beach! The selection is incredible. All of the staple craft companies are present, but there are also several hard to get brews here as well. Perhaps the most startling thing was the 6-tap growler station with freshbeer on tap. I had the opportunity to talk to Michael Byrd, the beer master, and he was very informative and fun. Stop in here for all your beer needs for the week.

Love the«Pig!» Such a cute store! Picked up a few home décor items for our house. The sushi samples were delicious we ended up getting some spicy rolls and ate outside on the picnic benches. Great wine and beer selection including a decent cigar selection. Nice stands set up throughout the store such as a Stonewall Kitchen selection and a coffee bistro. I did not go full blown grocery shopping to comment on prices but will be back to check it out.

Complete with growler station, you’ll find the the best beer selection at the beach, right here! What more need be said?! Okay, okay… there’s a Starbucks and an excellent deli waiting on you there, too. If you find yourself staying at the resort rentals in The Market Common area, the Pig(As we locals call it) is within walking distance of everything. –Neil

This little piggly was quaint and clean, but a bit over priced for same items found elsewhere cheaper. However, it was literally steps away from where I was staying, therefore, I just picked up a few items. Overall, a nice grocery store.

I’m a tourist from Maryland, and lucky enough to have a wegmans at home to shop at. This PW is the closest in quality to wegmans I’ve found in myrtle beach. Good prepared foods, sushi, deli. It’s clean and well kept. The beer and wine selection is excellent, according to my beer snob husband.

A real attention grabber, when you walk in and coffee is sold, so you can sashay with your cup of java, around the market. They carry meats, produce, dairy, deli, bakery, frozen foods, pet foods, wine & beer and dry goods as well as general groceries. This store is well organized and set up for the way people tend to grocery shop now a days. The prices are average, no great discounts. The cashiers are kind and pleasant. This store is clean, but the lighting is not the best, especially on one side of the store. Otherwise this seems to be a nice place to shop.

I was staying in the area and we needed some items, their prices are good but not a lot of selections. I have to say that the employees were all very nice.

This is the nicest grocery store we’ve found in Myrtle Beach. Good beer and wine section, Starbucks in the store, wide selection of premade foods, and they carry organic bread in the bakery. A little pricy, but worth it for the quality.

All tourists(aka«Yankees») from north of the Carolinas need to come here as part of the vacation trip just so that you can say you’ve been to a Piggly Wiggly once you get back home. Take everyone a T-shirt! The advantage to coming to this one is that it won’t put you into culture shock the way a typical Piggly Wiggly store might. Besides, those visitors from north of DC(especially Jersey) won’t be able to understand the employees at the other stores nor will they understand you. This is in fact one of the nicer of the Piggly-Wiggly stores in the area. Their selection is atypical of a PW and the layout will appear very strange indeed. If you’re used to running down to the Pig for your immediate cooking needs then this store is going to look very odd to you, it’s far newer, better kept, and differently stocked than your usual PW and lacking in some of the basic needs items(like heavily discounted meat) you might be used to. They do have a nice deli and pretty solid beer and wine collection. [note: those hunting for a specialty beer and wine store; while they have some here, this is a grocery store. For food!] In return for the nicer store with wider variety, you pay a little more than you’re used to also. A plus is that it’s convenient to the south side of the beach and that it’s in Market Common. If you want to find the store that’s like the one«back home» — drive up Hwy 17(Kings Hwy) to 17th Avenue North — it’s just a few miles up near the SkyWheel part of town. That store is like most others — perhaps a little beneath most others — and you’ll feel more at home. We stop in this one at Market Common when it just happens to be on the way but never to stock up unless we’re looking for something particular.

I stopped in here because, sadly, this was the highest rated beer store in Myrtle Beach. And that’s just sad. Anyway, for a grocery store, this place had a decent selection. They had some nice craft beers, though most were pretty common. There was very little local beer, with most of the craft options coming from California or Colorado. Still, we were able to pick up a few interesting things on our vacation, so it was successful in that regard. Aside from that, I found the place a little pricey. Seemed to be more expensive than most grocery stores I’m used to. But still a clean and decent place to shop.

WoW. Whole foods meet Piggly Wiggly. I am from NC and was staying near by at a local SC resort imagine my surprise when I swung by to grab some pasta sauce and encountered this upscale grocery store?! I didn’t expect it but I was more than happy to grab a variety of olives from their«Olive Bar» and fresh made sushi.Delcious. Customer service was average nothing special. I also had some difficultly finding the past sauce as their layout didn’t really flow. Overall pretty decent for a local grocery store

As good a beer and wine selection(including craft beers and specialties) that I have seen anywhere, and a helpful staff to assist you in making that hard choice. I will definitely come here first when in Myrtle to stock up for the week! And don’t forget to get your Piggly Wiggly t-shirt!
