Don’t bother to stop by for something to eat if you are hungry, as it is no longer open for business!!!

Why is this place is closed? Unilocal should contact them and tell them to change their hours. I was looking forward to it and it’s closed.

What a cool little place this is, just a couple blocks off the strip. As you can tell by the reviews everything can be just a bit uneven. I found the food delicious and the quirkiness of the staff refreshing. It just doesn’t seem to fit into the Myrtle Beach scene and that’s not a problem. If you want to try a place off the strip and get something that isn’t fried… give this place a shot.

Came here on vacation because some friends that were there a few weeks ago highly recommended the place. I had a burrito with carnitas and my girlfriend had a veggie burrito. Both were fantastic. Food was super fresh. The owner was very friendly and made our burritos then stepped out for a delivery. Go there have a beer and a burrito, you can’t go wrong.

Don’t come here if you’re looking for the food. Their machine is supposedly broken and unable to cook. The place also doesn’t open until 11 pm even though multiple sites and their voice mail said they are open at 10 pm. I am really surprised at how this place got their high Unilocal rating.

This is the poorest run business that I have seen. We didn’t get to try the food and we were so looking forward to it. They say they open at 10pm so we waited until then to eat. Unilocal says they deliver so I started calling at 10:00 sharp. Continually got the same answering machine message for 10 min straight. Okay, so I’ll drive be there. Got there by 19:20 +/-and no sign of life. We opted to order carry out pizza instead. On our way back to the room we drove by(at around 11:00) and the open sign was on. Very disappointed to say the least and they missed out in a sizable order. Sure wish I could rate the food and not the business.

Seriously good burrito and burrito bowls. Awesome at 4am and fresh. Pleasant staff too. A little creepy weaving my way through the dark club side to get to the food side, but so WORTH it when you’re sick of breakfast food and fast food st that time of night. New hours are apparently from 10:30pm-7am Monday — Saturday.

Prepare their meat freshly. Vegetables are pretty fresh. Prefer this over moe’s and chipotle. Wish they had black olives and mushrooms though. They stay open until late which is very convenient.

Okay, so it’s been a while since that wild night where the burrito guys safely drove my buddy and I home to finish up an exquisite evening of Myrtle mayhem. For more on that, scroll down to my previous review… moving on. Again, I was in town for a friends birthday… and again we ended up in hammer-town making our way to club there for some late night refreshments(I don’t know why we always do that). Before going anywhere else for drinks, I needed some food and remembered that there was a late night burrito spot around the corner. I came in and spoke to the owner and he remembered us from out past drunken dining experience. The customer service here is so friendly so all my friends decided to grab a bite. I obviously went for the barbacoa burrito again and this time, there was a Unilocal check in for free chips and salsa… woot woot! Apparently, they have also taken over the spot next door, which used to be a bar and had just opened it the night before or something. We decided to take out food and go sit over there to check it out. They have a full bar and access to the food as well. They’ve basically just capitalized on that corner of being a late night place with food and a bar attached next door for drinks. Huge win!

Very confused by the high ratings! Monday 6⁄1 Chose to eat here while on vacation because of the great reviews. Purchased a $ 15 for $ 30 deal through Unilocal.Arrived at 11:20, they were supposed to open at 11:30. At around 11:45 they unlocked the doors. We went in and they were completely unprepared, we waited patiently for food to come out and built our burritos. Upon checkout, we told the woman employee about our coupon and she very rudely said she would not honor it. She said she refused to give away $ 30 of food for $ 15. Also, right next to the counter a computer screen was open to Unilocal showing our name and the purchase of the coupon! Very confused about our experience here and how it is so highly rated because we saw nothing positive about this place! Big waste of time and money while on vacation! We ended up walking away and the woman wasted $ 20 – 25 worth of food.

I’ve never eaten here but not for lack of trying. Got off of work late; in town for business. Saw this place on Unilocal; had good reviews and hours of operation specified they were open until 4am 6 days per week – closed Sunday. Checked the WEBSITE and it specified the same hours of operation. Drove 10 minute to find out that they actually, in fact, close at 9pm. EPICFAIL! How are you going to own a business in the year 2015 and not have an updated website/yelp page… and for that(and my wasted time) they receive a nice(dog turd) 1-star review.

We always go to this place when we’re visiting Myrtle Beach. I always get a carne asada(steak) burrito which is, simply put, amazing. The ingredients are always fresh and tasty. They pride themselves on the fact that they have no freezers in their building, which should speak volumes about the quality of the ingredients. The hot salsa leaves the perfect amount of fire in your mouth. You can also get an ice cold beer with your meal for a reasonable price. I love Chipotle, but this burrito bar blows Chipotle out of the water.

At one time I did rate this place 5 stars. What in the hell happened? I first went to Farlo’s about 2 years ago. It was fresh, FLAVORFUL, and a good replacement for chipotle(which at the time had not existed in myrtle beach). Either the owner cheaped out on his processes/ingredients or it changed owners. Comparing my first experience with my last was a huge difference. The Food; nowhere NEAR on par with the flavor as before. The Barbacoa seemed like stewed beef. Not spicy whatsoever. The rice, under cooked. Seemed as though all the ingredients had been sitting there all day. The price; Nickle and dime you for every possible thing! 2 Burritos and(2) $ 2 beers ended up being $ 29.00?! It would be fine if the food was at least decent. The only positive thing I have to say about them is their sour cream was good. But it wasn’t enough to make me want to come back considering all the other new factors. However! I noticed this place is open until 4:00AM. I can imagine this place being heaven on a drunken night after the bars have closed. BUT, if you’re looking for CONSISTENCY in a burrito, you’re better off going to chipotle

I’ve been here about 3 times now. So I think that says a lot. The food is fresh and tastes really good. The hot salsa is what won me over. I’m a huge fan of spicy. I think what gets my business is also how late they stay open. In this area not many restaurants stays open late. Here’s the downside… its hard to get to, which I think is why its always empty? The prices kinda suck. All I usually get is a burrito because one burrito is almost $ 10 bucks! No drink, no chips. And the staff… what’re we gonna do about the staff buddy? I see lots of complaints. You’d think with an empty store they’d be grateful to see a hungry customer. All in all, I really like the owner and hope this place thrives and sticks around

Probably the worst burrito I’ve ever had. I’m so disappointed. The pictures and reviews on Unilocal set my expectations super high. It was mediocre ATBEST. Service was terrible. The employees were way too busy texting on their phones to take my husband and my order. The female employee had a total attitude when she finally noticed me. The steak had a weird taste. Rice was undercooked. Chips stale. Definitely won’t be returning.

I had the Carne Asada burrito and my wife had the Carnitas. The ingredients were tasty and fresh. The server was friendly. We are in Myrtle Beach again, we will plan to go back.

Just as we were lamenting the lack of any decent Mexican food at the beach – not even a Chipotle for heaven’s sake – we found Farlo’s. The burritos and their meat filling are all made to order, but we had our burritos quickly. I’m a vegetarian, and while they didn’t have a meat substitute like Chipotle’s sofritas, I thoroughly enjoyed my veggie burrito. The guacamole tasted fresh, and the grilled fajita vegetables I added were well worth the small increase in cost. My partner ordered the chicken burrito and was equally pleased. The hot salsa and salsa verde were both excellent.(Don’t forget to check in for free chips and salsa – the chips were warm.) I did wish they had brown rice, but that’s a picky point. The white rice was flavored with cilantro and lime, and it was quite good. I’d rather eat at a local joint than a big chain any day. I regret we did not get our young burrito maker’s name, but she was quite pleasant and endured our many questions and special requests with good cheer. We will most certainly return.

Agree with previous reviewer that«This place is 10x better than chipotle!». Maybe not 10x, perhaps 5x. All ingredients are made fresh, all the meats too. Barbacoa and carnitas burrito bowl was outstanding; the flavors were complex and mingled extremely well, plus the bowl was crunchy yet non-flaky. I really liked my carne asada burrito, and gobbled it down. The carne asada is very high quality, well-seasoned, and just surpasses Chipotle. Our servers were extremely friendly and said its a pity that the ingredients are frequently thrown out at night because people don’t ask for them. For most customers, the only thing they ever order is a chicken burrito with lettuce, cheese, and ranch. Now that’s a tragedy.
