Came in on a Saturday morning around brunch time by myself. The atmosphere is home like but it’s small. The mimosa was just right and went perfectly, although costs as much as my pancakes $ 8. Ordered the pancakes with chocolate chips and they were delicious. Light and fluffy. The syrup wasn’t too thick either. My service wasn’t on the bad side but I felt a little judged since I wasn’t there typical white family customer. Prices were about aveOverall, would go back again.

I live this place! Homemade high quality food and baked goods, nice service, cool atmosphere, always clean and I have never had a bad meal here. I love supporting local businesses and this is a regular stop for me when I’m in Myrtle Beach for work.

Is this for real Myrtle Beach? It honestly did not seem like it… and that’s a good thing. Went for brunch and were surprised by the size but excited about the menu. The complementary muffin didn’t appeal to me but I was pleasantly surprised again, it was really good. So my husband and I always share dishes so we went with a savory and sweet. The shrimp and grits were very unique. They were not the best I’ve ever had but still really darn good. However, our sweet was the bananas foster french toast. The best we’ve ever tried. Honestly. Sweet but not overly so and just amazing. Mango mamosa was also great and we are looking forward to trying this place again the next time at MB!

Morgan took excellent care of us, pointing us to the vegetarian-friendly items on the menu. I had the Florentine Egg Benedict, and my husband had the 2 eggs with a croissant. Both came with a delightful square of hash brown casserole and dollop of ambrosia. Morgan offered a side of fruit instead of the bacon or sausage that came with the 2 egg breakfast. Everything was delicious. I wanted to take *all* of the pastries to go, but found the will power to limit my indulgence to just a single cannoli with chocolate nibs. Looking forward to snacking on that a little later. In addition to Morgan’s attentive service, the hostess as well as(a woman who we assume is) the proprietor visited our table to ask how our meals were. A wonderful find on a dreary road trip through Myrtle Beach. My only regret is that I didn’t snap a photo.

We enjoyed our NYE dinner here. There was a fixed menu which they called ahead of time to share with us. Among the stars of the meal were the pork belly, grouper entrée and the mocha mousse dessert. The wait staff was attentive and personable. We will definitely come back again in the future. The pastry case all looked fantastic as well.

Love love love it here. Crabcake benedict and DIY Bloody Mary every time. They’ll refill your ambrosia is you’re nice. :) I only like bloody Mary’s if I can diy the ingredients so this is a rare treat. If you have a while in town grab some of their bakery items to go. The décor is very well done and the service always great. We’ve had the same waiter every visits how fun! Sometimes staff walks around with a boat of fresh whipped cream to top entrees. WOW. You also get little muffins as appetizers which are always a special treat.

My hubby & I lunch today and it was delicious. I had the shrimp & grits and they were on the short list of the bet I have ever had. Wonderful flavor and the fried green tomatoes — which I’m not a fan of — were a nice addition. Shrimp was perfection and the dish had a nice bit of spice from the sausage. I will most certainly return and order again on our next visit. Husband had the crabcake sandwich which was good. He prefers his crabcake well done — crunchy — and they did cook it longer than usual but he would have liked it cooked still longer. Great flavor. We were there between 12:30 — 1:30 and it was packed. Had to wait for a seat. It was quite noisy. The staff was attentive and friendly.

Croissants as big as a «cathead» biscuit! I’m a junkie in search of the perfect croissant and Croissants Bistro & Bakery is at the top of my list. It formed the perfect bacon, over medium — egg and cheese sandwich. Half way through the meal I switched plates with my husband and tried the smothered grits YUM! Another table ordered the bananas foster french toast(mental note for our next visit) and it looked amazing. According to the menu they have 5 course special events periodically through the year which is always a great way to explore a chef’s style of cooking. You can’t miss the baked good as you walk in the door. We didn’t ask, but it appears you can get a wedding cake made here as well.

This review is based strictly off my breakfast experience, i did not try their lunch menu or anything else they may offer. This place is an absolute gem. I would come here every time i visit myrtle beach. My girlfriend and I relied on the locals for the best food spots, when i found this we figured we would try it. I recommend making a reservation, there could be a wait in the morning especially on a weekend. Something we didn’t know at the time. We waited about 15 minutes for a table which wasn’t bad at all. Establishment: Very small and intimate. Tables are close together but its not an issue at all. Everything was very clean and orderly and i really liked it. Even with every table full it felt very relaxing and not boisterous or rushed. Service: Fantastic, our waiter was extremely courteous and attentive. He was able to make great suggestions for both food and drinks and really cared about our dining experience. Food: They started us off with small complimentary muffins which i believe were apple pecan? Good god, they could have just continuously served me those and i would have walked out happy. its a nice little treat which i have never gotten when going for breakfast before. The rest of our food was all phenomenal, hands down one of the best breakfasts I’ve had in a long time. Portions were sized well, i left full and extremely happy. Drink: Did not try any alcoholic beverages but they do have a full bar. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking to grab some breakfast! I would recommend putting in a reservation. You wont be disappointed, i assure you.

Best meal we had while visiting myrtle beach. I got the huevos rancheros and my husband got the breakfast sandwich croissant. Portions were large & satisfying, presentation was great, and prices were reasonable for what it was. The mimosas were great too, not too sweet and no pulp. Would definitely come back here for any meal. And they serve breakfast till 4pm!

I relied on local Unilocalers to find a good breakfast place while on vacation in Myrtle Beach, and they did not let me down! It was a cute little bistro and I showed up at the right time because it filled up completely within 10 minutes of my sitting down. I ordered the crab cake Benedict and it was good. Lots of lump crab, not a lot of filler, which is great! Eggs were cooked perfectly and it was served on half of a croissant. My «room for improvement» items were that they should give you a whole croissant, not just a half, and they should not be so stingy on the hollandaise sauce, there was barely any on there. Overall, everything was good. I’d go back if I were in the area!

Hello my fellow Unilocalers. I went to this place Aug 20th, sisters birthday while visiting myrtle beach. It’s a quiant little place… nearby I saw a Japanese bistro and bakery and that made me want to go their. But overall very nice. We are seated and it took very little time for the waitress to come to us intially. You walk in and you see the pastry case filled with frosted cakes and a few smaller pastries, it’s very aesthetically appealing. We look over the menu and there were many good sounding things. I went with the fish tacos, blackened, I’m very particular as fish tacos can come out greasy and so much liquid it makes the tortilla soggy…(ugh face). So I told her please to make sure they drained the fish. She agreed but she also acted like she was annoyed My mother and sister ordered a croquet Madam, and an omelette. I want to add, when came she took our drink orders, she left and it took a while for her to return. To be honest she barely came to our table. Did she do her job… yes, but I watched her check on other tables several times and practically ignored us… a major turn off in coming back. My family loved the food, it all came out delicous, with a side of yogurt with mandarin oranges, coconut and marshmellows…(we think). I can’t eat coconut and although I saw with yogurt I don’t remember anyone saying coconut. Coconut is a common allergen and should be noted. My fish wasn’t very hot and dry but at least it didn’t sog up the tortilla. The jalapeño slaw was nice. The food was good, it did have its blemishes but it was tastey and could have been an off day for fish. The other items were eaten immediately and voraciously. My mom commented on how good the croissant was. And the birthday girl who majors in French, got to show off her french studies and knowlegde, so they were all happy While I’m writing I’m thinking about the service which overshadows the food. I had them for a 4 star but now I just changed it to a three. As I said she barely came to OUR table. Another couple of women came and she was quick to greet, take their order, get their food, which it did take a bit to get our table. At the end, we ordered desserts, my sister got the macaroon. The waitress mentioned they had a blackberry and lemon cake. My mom wanted that, so she plates it all nice on a cutting board and added the drizzle and came to us «I’m sorry, it was apricot, do you still want this» while she’s trying to set it down. My mom says no she only wanted it for the lemon… and this woman had the nerve to be upset because she told us the wrong cake and we didn’t want it. Mind you she didn’t just say it once… I pointed it out at the case and she said it again and again. We go for the lemon bar to split. It was ok. We get ours on a white plate and no extra fork or spoon. The table I mentioned earlier got the same lemon bar, but she did theirs up on a cutting board with the drizzle and two forks since they were splitting. I’m looking around like are you serious… so imma be honest This place is in an upscale area, from the looks. There prices are not that high but not for the budgeter. The food was okay I have had better tasting fish and it really was dry. But my family raved and really enjoyed the atmosphere the place gave off. If we go back to myrtle beach, most likely I won’t fight to go to this place but my family might and that means something. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you give this place a go. SMILE!

Friends in town visiting U.S. We mentioned Friendly’s for dessert. A mother friend said, «Have you heard of Croissants Bistro & Bakery?» We have not so we decided to try it. WOW! I highly recommend. Classy. Quiet. Great service. Incredible display. Choices are great. All six of us left raving about our decision to go here and the food. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!!!

Came a second time to try their breakfast; MUCHBETTER than lunch! I am unsure if what I chose for lunch last time was just a bad choice on my part. But for breakfast I got the egg and cheese croissant, and luckily they allowed me to switch the bacon on it for sausage without any issue. We asked for iced coffees to drink, and the waiter came back with cream in them. When we did not ask for cream, nor did he mention they automatically add cream for you. Which is odd, because what if someone had an allergy to dairy? We drink our coffee black, so we asked for new coffees without cream. The waiter seemed annoyed — but he didn’t even check with us in the beginning that it was okay.

I enjoyed my first visit to Croissants Bistro. The interior is nice and modern. The service was good. I thought the potions were fine for me but may not be enough for a big eater. I tried their half a sandwich and soup combo. The chicken salad was yummy. It is more on the traditional side. The mushroom soup was delicious. It had a wonderful cheese flavor. For dessert we had the cake tasting. You get 3 slices of cake for a reduced rate. We tried the red velvet, carrot and chocolate mousse cake. All 3 were fabulous but we all agreed that the carrot was our favorite. I can’t wait tocome back and have more of their tasty sandwhiches and cakes.

Someone said that myrtle beach has some of the best food on the east coast… while I beg to differ, thy could have had all their meals from this place. A foodie’s heaven. Thank you for existing… I was looking for something like you my whole vacation. The reviews are well worth every word. I had the shrimp and grits on top of fresh fried green tomatoes. For the appetizer some French pastry puff with scallops. My eating partner had fresh chicken pasta in some sort of rustic ragu. I think my plate won the flavor contest even for my Italian friend. But the food was awesome. Moreover, they are known for their bakery. Which serves decadent cakes and other pastries. Such a great food haven. This is a must go to while visiting, every visit.

When there’s two tables full on a Saturday morning and your first question is «do you have reservations?» Its a bit off putting. The bakery cabinet looks more amazing than breakfast. Also, if I build an omelet it costs over $ 20 which is crazy. I overheard one table that they were out of banana’s and going to the store so their meal was delayed. I also heard a table have a snotty reply to asking about a LA carte options for their kids. The grits were oddly creamy and sweet. The loaded grits had almost no grits in them. Crissoints were horrible, would prefer Pillsbury. The bacon was amazing though! Would have been better off at the McDonald’s and it wouldn’t have been $ 30.

Came here for Thursday brunch with my best friend while on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Did some research on Unilocal and decided to come here. I ordered a pumpkin latte, which was soooo good(much better than Starbucks) as well as the Greek frittata. It was good, but not the best that I’ve ever had. But to be fair, I usually order some sort of eggs benedict when I brunch and not a frittata, so maybe I’m just a little bias. Overall though, I loved the ambience of the restaurant and was very pleased with the service. It’s in a lovely location and I really enjoyed my experience here! Taste: Pumpkin Latte – 10⁄10 Greek frittata – 5⁄10 Ambience: 8⁄10 Service: 7⁄10
