I enjoyed their sliced brisket, sure not the best I’ve had and it was a little drier than id like but it was still good. My friend had the hot link sausage, I tried it and I thought it was also tasty. For what it was I liked their«hot» BBQ sauce, didn’t try their sweet as I rarely try the sweet sauces. Cold bottled beer. Simple atmosphere. I prefer other BBQ in town but I would definitely come back here if asked or it worked out that way. I will be ordering their pulled pork next time to try. Oh and when I was there their pickle/onion/pepper bar was fresh, so I’d like to think it typically is. Try it out!

DONOTGOHEREUNLESSYOUAREREADYTOTAKE out a second mortgage on your house. Really, a BBQ place that serves up frozen French fries as a side. a pasta salad with what can best be described as a chemical taste. Very small meat portions at a 5 star price. An experience that left us with so little respect we will not even use their parking lot to turn around in. Would not be surprised if that comes with a toll charge.

Great atmosphere. Waitress was really nice but kept forgetting our sides. Side dishes were great. Great onion rings, beans and potato salad. The all you can eat ribs however were one step away from being jerky :(this was our first time here so I obviously do not know if they are always like this. We was hoping the first plate was just a over cooked batch. But the next one were just as bad :/sorry!

Cowboys has my favorite brisket and sauce in all the world(and I’ve tried a lot). The brisket is just right… not too fatty and not too dry, good smoke, and still holds together in slices. The sauce is not too sweet(sorry Carolina and KC), not too spicy(sorry Texas), but has just enough bite. They don’t douse the meat, so you can add as much or as little as you like. I’ve been coming here for at least 30 years even though I now live 1500 miles away. It’s a required stop every time I’m in town and I often buy a few pounds of brisket and a quart of sauce to tide me over to the next visit.

Not my favorite of local BBQ but it is a local favorite. Not fond of their sauce or baked beans. Portions not that great compared to other places in town. Personally the sauce reeks of smoke flavoring additive. The meats are pretty good with out the sauce but mostly to dry.
