Came in from out of town. Spent an hour looking for a decent bakery within a 20 minute drive of Spring Lake. Waste of money, waste of calories. I certainly hope this is not the standard west Michigan residents have for their donuts.

They make some consistently tasty donuts here. Although I am not local I always look forward to breaking my diet for the morning every few months to eat a donut or two. The staff is very friendly here so if you get tired of high fiber cereal and need a sugar fix go to Goober’s.

Great local donuts and very friendly staff! Pistachio muffin is great! Wide variety. Your standard local donut shop.

In a post-Anton’s world, Goobers is my favorite spot for donuts in the area. And this place really is all about the donuts. It’s not filled-to-the-brim with all kinds of cakes, breads, and deli dishes like the other bakery in town is – and I think that can be a good thing. It’s also pretty conveniently located if you’re hightailing it out of Muskegon in the early hours and need the sugary high that comes from stuffing your face with frosted dough. When I had to make a 6am drive to Lansing last week, it was a Goober’s peanut twist that got me through.
