I want to be honest and fair here. I have had 3 knee surgeries, but none by Reiman. He is probably a fine surgeon. My problem has been in dealing with the administrative side of his office, and this has been very frustrating. My knee is done, but I’m too young for a full replacement. So Reiman’s solution is a fitted brace, and the series of 3 knee joint injections. Great! Lets go! But this is where it starts to fall apart. Reiman recently joined Corona Orthopedic Associates(TOA). I understand this group represents 8 doctors and 3PA’s. I have never had a hold time less than 10 minutes. Usually it’s more like 15. I’ve had to give up and hang up because I had to get back to work. My current problem is I need my MRI report sent to my insurance company. TOA says they don’t order or deal with MRI’s. Well, maybe, but I didn’t order my own MRI. I ended up tracking down the report from the MRI office, and got it sent to the medical device representative, who will deal with insurance. Maybe this is the new normal, with Obamacare, I don’t know. But I’m not used to having to do all the leg work myself. My adult daughter did have surgery from Reiman this past July(2 months ago). It appears the minor procedure was done competently. No complaint about the surgery. But she repeatedly left messages for Reiman’s nurse(Hilary) to call her back and usually she did not, or it would be 2 – 3 days later. She was in a lot of pain, and wanted med refill, and never did get a call back at all for that. She was on hold several times post-op for very long times, usually hanging up in frustration before anybody answered. When she was able to leave a voice message, she never got a prompt call back, usually 2 – 3 days later. I have heard that his office didn’t used to be like this, before he joined Corona Orthopedic Associates. Just be aware, unless things tighten up, expect frustration in dealing with the administrative side of Dr Reiman’s office. And there appears to be no accountability. I mentioned my displeasure to Reiman during my appointment, and he just smiled politely and nodded, essentially acknowledging I’d said something. Good luck, I hope your experience is better than mine.

Dr. Reiman and PA Hilary are the best in the Temecula/Murrieta valley. Simply– if you want to be well and fully functioning they are the team to go to.
