The staff makes you feel horrible at each visit. It seems a common theme. No one can understand why a good doctor would have this office staff represent her.

This place sucks. I am looking for a new OB/​GYN now. She is an average doctor and provides decent care. I don’t think she could pick any of her patients out of a lineup. Her staff is rude and you seem to be bothering them with any question at all. Alice is rude and seems to hate her job. You will ALWAYS wait at least an hour for an appointment. See someone else.

I have nothing but wonderful things to day about Dr. Dimmette. I switched to her after having a horrible experience with another OBGYN in the area, and wow what a difference! She is so incredibly thorough in her appointments and always takes the time to answer any and all questions that I have. Her staff has never been anything but wonderfully nice to me so I was shocked to read all of the bad reviews on them. When I walk in they great me by name, and they are always smiling and helpful.
The only reason I didn’t give five stars is the wait. Yes you will have to wait. My wait from check in time has ranged from 30 minuets to about 3 hours. So my advise is always schedule on days when you don’t have other things planned. However, I would rather wait for a good doctor then been seen really quick by someone that I don’t trust.

Please take my advice and run! Please keep looking for a different obgyn! The office staff is extremely rude & hideously incompetent! I have never had such a horrible experience with a doctors office. After numerous calls to receive my ultrasound results that should of taken a week to receive .took over a month! which is very unnerving when your worried you could have something seriously wrong. The office staff, blamed Dr. Patti Dimmette for «losing“my results stating she takes patient files home for review and FORGETS to bring them back. She also mixed up my medical file with my daughters medical file resulting them to deny my daughters prescription refill. After realizing this mix up they still had a week to fix this mistake before my daughter was to start on her new cycle of medicine. but of course they didn’t.even after several calls to remind them she will be out of medicine in a few days! I was obviously upset & told the lady she was incredibly incompetent. Her response was «if your calling me incompetent your calling the doctor incompetent»
I agree. So I found a new doctor :)
It’s clear to me after reading these reviews the Doctor doesn’t care that her staff is seriously rude & obnoxious to her patients. Therefore I don’t trust her judgement and wound not trust my health & more importantly the health of my daughter with this doctor.

Staff is horrible!!! The girls are all so rude. I am changing doctors because of them, absolutely HORRIBLE with the worst attitude. PLUS they lost my referrals and didn’t bother to tell me they cancelled my appointment.

If I could rate the Doctor and staff separately, I would give Dr. Dimmette a 5 and the office staff a 1. Dr. Dimmette is a fabulous doctor, which is why I haven’t made the leap to see another OBGYN. She takes her time with you, genuinely cares about her patients and has an excellent bedside manor. On the other hand, her office staff is often rude, clearly disorganized and seem to just be punching a clock and don’t really care about the patients. They answer the phone with a tone that is very abrasive, like we are completely irritating them, and never say who they are when answering. I have been her patient for about 4 years. She has delivered one of my children and has performed a couple of surgeries, biopsy, DNC, etc. Out of all of the blood work panels, biopsy results, etc. that I have had done, I have always had to call multiple times for the results. Alice, clearly does not care about the patients in the way Dr. Dimmette does and unfortunately she is the one who does the call backs. Today, as in the past, waiting on test results that should have been in yesterday (I asked the lab when the results would be sent over) and they close for the weekend without calling me. I can stand the 1 – 3 hour wait to see Dr. Dimmette, but I don’t know if I can keep up this battle with the staff. I worked in a veterinary office that was run so much better and showed so much more care for their «patients» than this office does. Very sad.

Good luck getting an appointment. My wife had been getting the run around for the past three weeks. No one is ever in the office, not sure his they stay in business. Awful experience.

Dr Dimmette is the best! Very professional and caring! She gives you a feeling like you’ve known her forever and makes you feel comfortable. She’s straightforward and makes things easy to understand. She does her own deliveries so you don’t have to worry about a stranger coming in to deliver your baby. The office is busy because everybody loves her, so you do need to be patient, stay on top of your own health, and be ready to schedule your appointments sometimes! Office staff is great as well!

Love dr Dimmette, she saved me from having to have a c-​section, I have been seeing her for 10yrs now and she delivered my 2 boys. Yes they do have a long wait but it is worth is she is very caring and doesn’t rush you on your appointment. I trust her with my live and the lives of my children

Dr. Dimmette is a great doctor, but her front desk staff is horrible. They are rude loud an obnoxious not one speck of professionalism. Specially that one lady Alice she’s a demon bitch from hell. I would always schedule apt in the morning at 10 would not be seen until 12. This office is a joke. Dr Dimmette needs new staff because her reputation as a great doctor is being tarnished by her incompetent staff.

This office is a joke! I can’t even use the word professional with the doctor’s name in the same sentence.
First off, the staff is extremely rude. It doesn’t matter what time of the day you call, you will be put on hold and treated like you are bothering them.
Secondly, if you get an appointment, it will not matter because they will just cancel it anyway and reschedule for months out.
Lastly, the office staff DOESNT HAVE A CLUE! They lose depo shots, mix up referrals, and are totally incompetent.

Front desk staff is extremely rude and the main reason we won’t be coming here anymore, the care given for a normal check up is maybe average, extremely rushed. They don’t call you to check up or to remind you of appointments like our old doctor. And when that causes issues the front desk will be more than happy to ignore you. The girls just always sound like they’re really sick of helping you and as though everything they do for you is a huge favor.

I called this past Saturday 1÷10÷15 to book my first pregnancy appointment, totally spacing that it was the weekend at the time. Their answering service answer and I asked to book my appointment with Dr. Dimmette, I pronounced her name wrong and the lady was extremely rude & said okay first of all her name is: then corrected me, second of all you need to call back Monday during regular business hours. Her tone was so bad and rude. I called back and Said I just spoke to you & I wanted to say first of all thank you for correcting me & second of all thank you for being rude & she responds your welcome, your welcome again rude. That already left me with bad vibes on this place then to read these reviews about the front desk. There is no way! I will go there. Good Dr or not I won’t tolerate rudeness & bad customer service. If Im waiting a long time it’s going to be with pleasant people.

Dr Dimmette is worth any wait or other inconvenience! She is so caring and I trust her with my body and babies… due to twins and c sections!

Really happy with this doctor!
I have seen Dr. Dimmette many times and she is consistently kind, patient, informative, effective, etc. I have always over-​looked the office mis-​management because I think she is worth it. I understand the bad reviews as I have been repeatedly spoken to rudely by her assistant (not Pam… Pam is great).
I have also heard several inappropriate conversations at the front desk. Everyone in the waiting room just looks at each other for reassurance.
I am guessing Dr. Dimmette is unaware of the tackiness that sometimes takes place when she is not present. I have always been thankful for the couple of great staff members that go out of their way to be nice.
Give Dr. Dimmette a try. She is wonderful.
Her staff problem could easily be fixed. I have hope.

I’m happy to say I haven’t had any of the negative experiences others have had with Dr. Dimmette and/​or her staff. Originally I saw her Nurse Practitioner, Pam, for routine visits. Pam is the most personable professional I’ve met. She even called a few times to follow-​up regarding some concerns I had. Recently I had some very suspicious test results. Dr. Dimmette sat down, explained everything clearly to me, gave me my options, never rushed me through decisions I had to make, and was extremely thorough. I feel like Dr. Dimmette and Pam really care for me not just as a patient, but as a woman. Very pleased with their care.

Dr. Demmette has been my doctor for 14 years. She has delivered 3 of my children. I used to wait an hour or two to see her back in the day but her front office staff have changed how things are done and now I wait less than an hour, usually less than a half an hour. I have never had a more professional, don to earth strait shooting doctor. I trust her 110%. I have a genetic condition that most doctors have never heard of but she is extremely knowledgeable about the condition and how to treat it. I have dealt with years of infertility and she has bent over backwards and now I have 4 children. She has been amazing through 2 miscarriages. I had high risk pregnancies and she was very attentive. I’ve never had a doctor do so much for me. She is no nonsense. I wouldn’t trade her for anything.

Made an appointment on 3 separate occasions. Was called by front office to reschedule for various reasons each time, and each appointment was scheduled another month and a half out. Finally just gave up. Doctor came with great recommendations, but It shouldn’t take 4 months to finally get an appointment that won’t be cancelled. Giving them a neutral score because I can’t actually review the doctor.

I have to say for a young new mother, Dr. Dimmette is a great OBGYN but her staff is horrible. I forgot my money and they are refusing to see me they schedule me for the next day. Was the Dr running behind and this was there way of catching her up. My mom was on her way with a check and they would have got their little $ 25 cancellation payment. My insurance has paid them a great sum of money are they really going to miss this payment. They would not even let me speak to MY dr. they escorted me out of the office and told me they would see me tomorrow. I refuse to put up with such horrible front office to see Dr. Dimmette. Dr. Dimmette your office would be a much sweeter place with a better support staff in place.

Have nothing positive to say about this front office staff, so completely rude to my daughter. After filling out paperwork they refused to see her as they are a CASH ONLY Facility and we came with debit card. This was her first visit, after attempting to leave and get cash they rudely told my daughter they were going up have to reschedule, yet they pick and choose letting some Pts bring a check on their following visit. I’ve been a nurse 22 years and work for a hospital in San Diego… Our staff would be released from duty if they were caught treating anyone with such disregard. It’s really a shame the Dr came recommended but we won’t be returning to find out! Ps this is the twenty first century even iPhone users can accept credit/​debit cards !!!
