When selling gold my advice is weigh your gold beforehand and/or get a second opinion. Chaparrel Coin quoted my gold at 1.7 grams when in fact it weighed 26 grams. Seller beware! Take a ride to Ronnie’s Jewelry in Lake Elsinore. Dependable and honest!

They really give you a great deal, they take the time to do research so that you get the most for your money. I definitely will return with more stuff in the future.

These guys are great. I had just had lunch in the strip mall they’re in and saw their sign from across the parking lot. I decided to stop in and was immediately impressed with how friendly and easy going these guys are. I bought a few silver coins for my boys and and used the 1 free WW2 steel penny check-in offer and they gave me 3 of them for all 3 of my kids. Cool place, I highly recommend.

…waiting for the BBQ place to open I popped in Chaparral Coin and browsed the old foreign coin selection. After business died down a bit I talked to the staff and was impressed that they buy not just coins but other unique items ie militaria, rare literature, and of course watches and jewelry. I sold a couple of gift cards I did not need and got 60% which is not too bad. Foreign coins I bought were unique and I will probably be back to buy or sell stuff. Interesting store and worth a visit.

The stuff is definitely cool, but John just totally rocks! These guys really love what they do. They love researching old stuff and helping you find a new home for your neglected objects. They will chat with you as long as you have time, so if you wanna learn something about some old item you have, bring it in. Tell your mom, its time to let go of the doll collection gathering dust in the garage(or is that only my mom?). I’m fixin’ to stop by with an antique typewriter soon… Ask to see whatever the cool thing of the week is. It’s always changing.
