I love this place! It’s a real life Cheers in The Salt Lake Valley. Great fight nights and owner/staff are awesome. Best sports bar in mid-valley. Mexican Candy chicken wings are AWESOME!

Great place to meet friends for an after work drink! Chicken nachos were good. Reasonable price on drafts.

I like that the music is not too loud. The people enjoy themselves and the atmophere is good. But the service is almost always way way too slow. The waitresses spend too much time talking with customers at the bar or disappears in the back for a long time. Even when it’s not that busy, the waitresses usually just move too slow. And they don’t look around when they come out to serve someone(while I am waiving my hand trying to get their attention!). The beer is good. I like that there are so many TVs with interesting sports events. I didn’t like how they close the kitchen at 10 pm. Ordering fries or just something to eat would be nice to 11 pm.

This place has all the fights and is also cigar friendly. Can’t beat that. Lots of good choices in beer on draft, great servers, and the food tastes great. A little hard to find because it is in the«sports mall» but is a great find none the less!

A fun place to get a big group of people together and watch some sports. I am more a dive bar kind of guy. But this place is nice and spacious. The drink prices were typical of most bars in the area. The service was quick and friendly. I am sure if in the area I might stop by again.

I ordered a heart attack burger and fries and it was delicious! The food was brought out quickly and Brittania was very prompt with keeping my beers full, checked on us frequently and was very friendly! Unfortunately I went there to play some pool and have a good time but found myself pretty bored as you do have to pay for the pool and they don’t really have anything else going on besides watching some games on the many tvs they had.

This is the packer hangout for Salt Lake City. The food is inexpensive and delicious both. Steins, pints, bottles and a full bar and menu. Plenty of TV’s to host every regular season football game and a big parking lot to boot. There is an outdoor patio also with a fire pit, some of which is covered in the event of inclement weather.

Waited for 30 min to place an order, 30 min for the food, 40 min for the check… Just to find out That THEY’VECHARGEDUSFOR2EXTRABEERS. Waitress argued with us sting that she served us the beers, manager came and said that he’ll look into it. ANOTHER30 min later after manager review the video tape, he said that we are all good… No apologies or nothing! Our first time here and LAST!!!

Came a few nights ago to catch the tail end of the Holy War U v. BYU where we smashed them yet again. It was surprisingly not that full, and better yet I found out they show UFC fights! Damn. And it was free that night! Too bad we came too late. From the sounds of it service isn’t that good, but we didn’t really experience it because a friend just went up to the bar and got a couple beers. Two shock top bottles for $ 7. Eh not the greatest. Tons of screens, two huge projection screens. Took a look at the menu, prices were decent. I didn’t try anything though. I asked the guy up front as we walked out and he said cover for UFC fights are $ 5. Typical. But hey for being so close and hopefully not very crowded I’d go. Hope my next outing is as good as this one!

Learn to control your customers who are harassing customers minding there own business … I’m a female out with friends to enjoy the game and instead I was harassed by a drunk… when my friend asked him to leave the bartender was an ass to him. This all happened at 7pm. Unbelievable. Very disgusting!

The service here is not that great, at least around lunch time, smaller parties get pushed to the side, even when its not that busy, the food is ok, most of their dressings are only ok, the burgers are ok as well, same with the fries, all of it is normal bar food, maybe its better when you’re drunk, it also seems a little over priced for what you get, the chicken noodle soup is horrible, dont get it, it would be nice to see some things added to the menu, like maybe different kinds of fries, and Pizza

Never thought I’d be a regular at a bar, but I guess I am one now! Our team has been coming here for a couple of years now after our weekly games, and now the staff knows us well! The beers are really cheap($ 4 for a pint of Killian’s!) and the food has always been fantastic! I’m a huge fan of the chicken quesadillas, but their wings are great, club is perfectly toasted and moist, and the garlic ranch burger is pretty dang good too! I’ve never had anything that I didn’t like! The service is hit or miss. Some weeks great, others not so much. We like Lara, but a couple of the other servers are ok. Say hi to Doug on the way in! He’s always good for a booming hello and some smart ass comment!

Went there twice won’t be going back for a while. Both of the waitresses we had were bad. One was slow and the other was so rude. There were like 6 TVs upstairs and even after we asked over and over to different employees no one turned on the jazz game. Seemed to be no management. Also the waitress wanted a credit card before we even ordered. Wtf? Then when I asked to settle up she wouldn’t give me a receipt. I asked her 4 times for a receipt. She printed one off that didn’t have my card number on it and the timestamp was wrong. The food is the only reason I have 2 stars. It is GOOD! If you go I liked the steak fingers(sounds weird I know) or the wings with Mexican candy sauce.

I’ve always liked The Point After. It’s been there seemingly forever and I’ve been going there just about as long as I can remember. Through numerous ownership changes, and a few remodels, the place has stayed mostly the same through the years. They have a great selection of bottled beers and they keep them so called that they’re on the verge of freezing. The food is good, consistent, bar food. It’s nothing gourmet, but it’s very tasty and high quality. I LOVE the patio. It’s always a party out there!

The Point After is still probably one of the best places to watch a UFC fight and grab a beer. Got to get there early if you want a table though, this place gets pretty packed. You will see a lot of Affliction-wearing bros here, but with the gym right next door I guess it fits. Decent prices, lots of TVs showing different games, and a big projector for the fights. It gets a little on the rowdy side, but that’s part of the fun. Service is a touch on the slow side but if you flag the girls down, they will take care of you.
