Have eaten there twice and aim to again. The chef is a genius. I don’t usually care for fusion but this stuff is wonderful. The place is small but friendly; service is good and the sometimes elaborate looking dishes arrive fairly promptly.

Place is amazing. I’m always down to drive 35 mins to eat there. Surprised to even see a bad review. The only down side is there not in Sonora. Hint. Hint.

Excellent all around. I tried the lumpia and sweet chicken chili bowl, both were excellent. Others in the group had the bulgogi sandwich, pork belly bowl. and chicken lettuce wraps. Everyone enjoyed it. A must try while in Murphy’s, it’s next to the shell gas station.

Adobo w/pork belly bowl and the Sweet Sticky Tots, also with pork belly. Fresh and not disappointed. Hit the spot. The rice was perfectly sticky with just a hint of garlic. One of those places where you just want to try everything on the menu in one sitting. We will probably be back on our way down the mountain. Funky fresh quaint little fusion joint. Giving it four stars just because we haven’t tried enough on the menu yet.

I’m rarely compelled to write a review but the halo-halo here put me over the top. The halo-halo is the best I’ve had in a while and reminded me of the homemade stuff I had as a kid. My wife and I shared the pork belly adobo and the spicy manok skewers. While not quite traditional, they were both yummy – especially the garlic rice with the pork belly adobo. So, if you’re in Murphys and want a culinary adventure, give this place a shot! And my wife wanted to make sure I mentioned that the ube ice cream was homemade and yummy!

My girlfriend and I stopped in here for brunch a few weeks ago and ordered every special on the menu board. Spam Bacon Balls, Sweet and Spicy Tater Tots, Beef Bulgogi sandwich, Mussels, and some of the finest Chowder I’ve had. This creative take on Asian Comfort Foods and friendly staff make this an ideal lunch stop in Murphys.

So crazy good. Absolutely uncommon and incredible food for the Mother Lode. I am classifying this restaurant as a «Must go»! I had the Sinigang… withstanding the snicker from the young, talented chef for my mispronunciation… I enjoyed every last drop and morsel. It was vibrant and intoxicating! My tastebuds were alive at last after a decades long slumber in this rural area. The precision cut cubes of bbq pork belly were melty and sweet. The deep brown, cloudy broth was so rich and savory it rivaled a demi glacé. Lurking deep beneath the pile of sugar peas, pork and bean sprouts I actually unsuspectingly uncovered a tightly wound spool of rice noodles. I am left to dream now of my next visit to this tiny palace of flavorful delight.

Oh my goodness, SOYUMMY. I created my own combination bowl with jasmine rice, bulgogi beef, and shredded veggies. Portions were generous, the bowl was assembled beautifully, flavors were fresh and authentic, prices were fair, and the space was fresh and clean. Beverly was extremely nice and accommodating. She allowed me to sample multiple ingredients I was unfamiliar with(thank you!) and sent me home with a free Halloween dessert. The only bummer(in my opinion) is the fact that they close at 6pm on Mondays and Tuesday’s. All in all I had a great experience and will definitely go back.

Just hand the best lunch I’ve ever had in Murphys. Flipped out is killing it in this town devoid of good food. Fresh, clean and bright flavors are king here. The chefs here work so wonderful together and yes I said chefs. Why they don’t have a line out the door just blows me away. Do yourself a solid and go eat here you’ll be hooked. They always have special and it always is mind blowing and tasty as f$&@. Had shrimp and coconut rice balls with a killer coconut curry sauce, out of this world. Keep the good food coming guys the out the door line is coming soon.

We’ve been here at least a half-dozen times, and every time it’s been great! The best bánh mì sandwich I’ve ever had. It’s awesome to see more ethnic variety spring up in the area. Despite being next to the gas station, they have a charming atmosphere, nice secluded patio and even a small waterfall. Everything on the menu has been great so far and you’re watching them prepare their fresh ingredients. The chicken lettuce wraps are awesome, lumpia makes a great starter and their specials are unique and delicious.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Murphys. We eat there frequently and are never disappointed. The phở is better than some of the places I ate at in Hanoi. And the lettuce wraps are too good for words… AMAZING. All the food is beautiful and each plate has delicious complex flavors. The staff are very personable and Beverly, the owner, is a genius chef. She has turned a once run down hole in the wall into a BEAUTIFUL oasis. The ambiance and energy of this place is one of the many reasons we love eating there. For the amount and quality of the food offered the prices are extremely reasonable. Eating at Flip’d out reminds of many days I spent in south east Asia. Beverly’s attention to detail and her beautiful presentation make the experience that much better. Very thankful this place exists.

This is a really cool little place to eat. All of the food is prepared on spot per order, fresh with as many ingredients from the local area as possible. It’s small, cozy and fresh what more could you ask for ? Today my wife had the spicy chicken wings which were fantastic and I had a special of the day the tater tots with added pork belly. Absolutely fantastic. If you don’t stop here it your loss.

My dad raves about this spot, so I had to come up from L.A. to try it. I’m sure glad I did!

First time having Phillipino food and it was rockin’! The staff were super friendly, met an awesome lady named Beverly. She took the time to explain to us each of the items on the menu and also gave us some samples on things we considered in ordering(kemchi). The set up has an awesome down to earth vibe: Mason jar cups, urban outside eating area, and great food! What more can I say?! We’ll definetly be back thank Beverly and crew!

Unilocal doesn’t have the location geocoded right: it’s at the only traffic signal in Murphys. We love this place! All the dishes are prepared fresh on the spot. Lumpia and empanadas are favorites, sauces are seriously delicious. Ingredients are always super fresh. Veg head bowl is really good if you’re in the mood for a non meat option with pancit noodles. Their chicken wings are marinated overnight and are super juicy(orange ginger sesame). Beef Phở is fantastic if you’re in a soupy mood. This is NOT fast food but it is served as quickly as possible, so if you go during busy hours, have some patience. It’s definitely worth the wait! I’ve tried everything they’ve offered and never been disappointed. Bev and her team are top notch chefs, having worked for some of the finer restaurants in the area. Typically closed Wed and Thu, open from noon to 8 other days with some exceptions.
