As Walmart stores go, this one is better than most. The manager of this store has been at this location for years and is known for running a good store. It’s usually clean despite being a ridiculously busy store. They do a good job of keeping enough registers open to handle the demand and you’re rarely in a line more than 2 – 3 deep. If you’re a fan of the self-check registers, they have 8 – 10 of them, far more than I’ve seen at any other store. The only thing that I don’t like is that they bring out the pallets and huge carts to start restocking shelves in the early evening when it seems to be their busiest time. It makes it very difficult to get in and out in a hurry when you have to bob and weave through the obstacle course, or worse yet, you have to move huge carts of product out of the way because it’s blocking a freezer case.

Why, Walmart, why? Why have an entirely different layout than the Walmart Supercenter in Smyrna? I’ve been to this location at least a dozen times and it just never gets easier or less frustrating. There’s no rhyme or reason to the layout, the staffing and service sucks. You’d think if you’re going for a different layout than most Walmarts in TN, you’d at least make it better and easier to navigate, but nope. I’m holding a grudge and sticking to the(still really crappy but at least navigatable) Smyrna location.

I feel the employees really go out of there way to really help someone. Every time for the past 9 months I’ve gone into shop & needed help. They have really gone that extra mile to help me. And I have not been given such great service at any other Wal-Mart for there was one that was just wanted to push me off in a direction just to get rid of me. So I left & drove to this Wal-Mart and they were SUPER helpful. They should be rated as a 10 Star store!!! Thank You Wal-Mart for hiring some really good employees that actually have a heart…
