Went here with my mom when I was visiting in town, super good price for what you get, we did a more advanced class with out knowing and Liz our instructor was super nice and sarcastic which she warned us of! She rushed us a little bit but the painting needed to be rushed to fit into our time period we were given, but she stayed 45 minutes late with the class till everyone was done. Super fun for a date night or bonding with someone.

I love this concept. I can’t paint at all and I was so excited about the painting O completed. I mean it was actually good enough to hang up. I also went to a group painting session in their back room and we had a blast.

This place is fun and everyone should go at least once, the only problem is that they are super crowded on weekends. The last time I was there my seat was between 2 of the 3 parties they had going on that night, it was hard to hear any instructions and I kept banging elbows with the people next to me (which makes it really hard to paint). I went again on a Thursday and things weren’t as hectic but I won’t be back on a weekend.

Now that that’s out way,…I HAD A BLAST AT PAINTING WITH A TWIST!
It was wife’s time to pick something for date night and in her genius she decided not to tell me what it was (smart woman!) cause she knows i would have said HELL NAW! PAINTING… so once we got there i kept my comments to myself until i had time to evaluate what the heck we was gonna do!
The guy who taught us was really kool!, and he didn’t rush us to keep up with him. Dude offered help if we needed it and didn’t make you feel as if your the «special case kid» in the class if yours didn’t look like everyone else’s. I really enjoyed myself and so did my wife!
Will MOST DEFIANTLY RETURN!
FYI: You can bring your own wine or drank… yea i may paint a portrait once i get lit… lol

Painting with a Twist is so much fun! It’s a great new concept of painting instruction in a laid back classroom setting. No matter what you’re skill level is, you will leave with a great sense of accomplishment and a masterpiece in hand.
I recommend you check the website for the events calendar so you can paint what you like. Prices range according to difficulty of class, i. e the more difficult the painting, the longer it takes, the higher the cost of the class. The instructors were so helpful and they make the classes fun and enjoyable. If you’re a perfectionist like me, you can get easily frustrated if you don’t make those lines perfectly clean, but no worries, take another sip of your favorite wine (the «twist» in Painting with a Twist) and those paint strokes will look like the works of a genius.
Painting with a Twist is perfect for date night, parties, or even solo! Don’t forget your favorite wine and tasty treats!

The title is pretty self-​explanatory, but if the title still eludes you, let me break it down for ya. There’s a template painting that everyone is tasked with replicating. You get all of the supplies necessary laid out in front of you (canvas, paint, brushes), you just bring your derrière. If you have no artistic ability (like me), then you’re in luck. The instructors are very nice & encouraging. Plus, if the words of encouragment aren’t enough, you can BYOW (Bring Your Own Wine) and drink until the painting starts to look good. I definitely reccommend it for singles, couples, families, etc. If you’re scared, just shoot me a message and I’ll go with you. I’ve already updated my monthly budget to incorporate this awesome new hobby of mine.
