I’m a construction worker that beats up my body daily and could not recommend a place more then here to keep your body right. I have been a client for a few years and Dr. Schafernak and the whole staff is amazing.

My family just moved to Mundelein, so I’m looking for a new chiropractor. I was in a lot of pain yesterday morning, so I called the Chiropractic Care Center to see if I could get in for a quick adjustment. I was told they don’t accept new patients on Saturday. Why be open if you’re not interested in helping people?

I am a Cardiac Nurse who was told that I needed extensive back surgery if I wanted to move freely and continue to work. Someone recommend Chiropractic Care. I was hesitant, because I really didn’t know what they did. After being referred to Dr. Schafernak, I discovered that not only was he able to treat my back and hip pain, first giving me relief from the pain, but then correction of the cause of the problem, His team was then able to increase my mobility and teach me how to keep myself healthy. It did take a few months. After all, the damage and changes in my body didn’t occur overnight.
Not all chiropractors are created equal. (But we all know that neither are traditional physicians) The method of their assessment and treatment is key.
What I discovered was that the use of an «Activator» provided an an amazingly safe way to manipulate the spine and realignment.
I know that traditional medicine has its limits. Dr. Schafernak provides the the missing link, that melds my traditional medical care with chiropractic care, which has kept me very active and healthy.
By the way, Dr. Schafernak has helped me in areas beyond my spine. He cleared up a chronic sinus infection, as well as relieved me of TMJ pain which lingered long after the unintentional hit by a confused patient to my jaw. These physical conditions that traditional medicine had «treated» but not been able to cure.

As a medical professional, I was impressed with his extensive knowledge and his ongoing continuing educational training that he participates in. There is always new studies and knowledge being discovered.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Schafernak’s practice. I’ve been coming to him for years for a variety of issues. From times when I’ve thrown out my back, had knee problems, or was just super tense, he has always been there to work through these issues with me and help me feel better.
He has done some form of electrical therapy on my knee (no, it doesn’t hurt), has helped my back recover quickly, and has helped my overall health. Most of all, Dr. Schafernak is super nice… he talks to his patients, remembers their health problems, even remembers little personal details you may mention during your visit, signs he truly cares about his patients.
If you’re in need of a good chiropractor, I highly recommend him. Though as much as I love this doc with a golden heart, he makes sure to fix you up so you don’t have to see him often! haha.
