This Walgreen store is located across the street from my dentist office. I remember when there was a Mobil gas station in it’s place. Because there are enough gas stations around, it’s a better thing to have this place for the locals to use.
This was the first big drug store in Mundelein so it was a welcome addition and to be able to get your prescriptions from without having to travel to the next town over.
It’s a typical Walgreen with its isles of cosmetics, books, candy, greeting card and of course over the counter meds. They still have a counter dedicated for photo development but I’m guessing that it doesn’t get too much use with mostly everyone owning digital cameras. I recently stopped in to pick up some more sugar free hard candy for my mom and because this place is open at 7am it was convenient for me to go to before I visited her.
