My family brought me a plate from the diner today. Absolutely the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The chicken and dressing is incredible and the Mac and cheese is real Mac and cheese not the fake stuff!

This is one of my usual stops but today several of us stopped in for a lunch break from doing tornado repair work. I had the hamburger steak but others ordered grilled chicken, catfish, meatloaf or bbq. Everyone made mention of the fresh cut fries and the grilled chicken was raved about .The meatloaf was judged on the salty side but everyone thought the food was very good and the portions large enough for a bunch of hungry guys. Nicely decorated with a great scenic view of the gas pumps. We’ll be back.

This is a new restaurant in the Chevron Station on Birmingport Rd in Sylvan Springs, AL. They have a meat and three and bbq and sandwiches and burgers. I usually get the meat and three and it is great. This is a great restaurant and you need to check it out. They will soon start serving breakfast and will serve until 11:00 a.m. YEA!
