They had tons of different types of yarn to choose from, and they were very attentive and able to help me, a first time yarn shopper, with finding the right yarn for me.

So, when I got bored in Washington I decided to take a day and explore Mt. Vernon! I was wildly excited to see that there was a local yarn store! The lady was the nicest person I’ve ever met! I showed her a couple of patterns that I wanted to do and she showed me what yarn I needed. I ended up spending way too much money. But it was totally worth it! If you are into knitting or into crochet they have everything you need! I ended up getting tons of yarn, a bowl, a row counter and a kit. I love the yarn I got and I haven’t been able to figure out what I want to do yet with it!!! Wish I could go back!

Great staff and great service. Even when they are busy with others you get a friendly hello. They are always happy to help and the staff; Sarah, Joanne, Jolynn, Piet etc are all very knowledgeable. I was a complete novice when i walked in with needles and yarn I got from a friend. They sorted me out and taught me knit from purl. They taught me to read a pattern and about yarn. Knit night is friendly and welcomes all. No snobs here. I one brought in horrible yarn that I was given to knit with by a friend and I was given great advice on how to manage it. Awesome yarn shop. Great service. Wonderful attitude.

I came across this lovely yarn shop in Mount Vernon WA as I was checking out the downtown area of Mount Vernon… the shop was closed, but I peeked inside the window and it was beautiful and very welcoming… a MUST stop by again when it is open…

This would be a 5 star shop if some of the staff I encountered weren’t snobs. Wonderful selection and display of top of the line yarns. I have been in twice now and the first time was better with a different staff and I really want to support my local yarn store but now I will go elsewhere or buy on-line. Their loss because I buy alot of yarn. Go in an fondle and buy elsewhere if they do not engage you.

This store has everything one needs! Its a candy store for knitters… we drive from Whidbey Island to come here as often as we can. My husband and I both knit so it is a battle to see who can walk out with the least yarn! …very helpful staff & friendly to…

I loved this place. They have all of the higher end yarns and up to the minute patterns. As a male knitter, I was very pleased to see designs by Stephen West displayed. Guys, this one is definitely worth a visit.

This is a beautiful yarn shop. Sarah is so helpful. She suggested a yarn for and wrote out notes to modify Clapotis – my first! Seriously, even if you’re not going *to* Mt. Vernon, take a little detour and stop in at WildFibers!
