501 Grill & Tavern

Was driving looking for somewhere to eat and found the 501. Had nice lunch. Menu was good. Food was very good. Will definitely go there again.

Use to love to go to this place. Stopped going about a year ago service is horrible and the food really went downhill went in the night b4 thanksgiving and was going to get seafood the server suggested that I don’t cuz the scallops have been there for a long time? Last time we were in the waitress was rude and the food was horrible!

The food is ok but Very overpriced. There is a reason why the parking lot is so empty!

Here on a Tuesday night at 7 and it’s dead, maybe 10 people in the place. Ordered wings at 6:20 and still don’t have them. They better be good when they finally come. Nice enough place but slow food.

This place is certainly off the beaten path, but maybe that’s why it’s a treasure. Beer selection was decent for a place way out here. Burger was really good. Impressive menu. Really sweet, attentive wait staff. I’ll go back if ever in the area again! Recommended.

This is an out of the way place. You could drive right by it even though it is right on the road. The food is good, consisting of burgers, sandwiches, and more. The beer selection on tap is quite good. We had a Cuban panini and brisket sandwich. Tasty. Good fries. Probably e best thing you’ll find in the area.
Good sized bar area separate from restaurant.
Only problem is that this is farm country so there are a lot of black flies in the restaurant which is a bit annoying when it comes time to eat.

This is a regular stop for us. We usually sit on the bar side, where there are a half dozen TVs. This place has some atmosphere, and service is usually pretty good. There is always a «special» menu of the day, offering a good variety. The chef likes to come up with unusual but not too off beat selections for the day’s menu. There is also standard menu with wide selection. Slowly but surely, prices here have creeped upward, so it is not easy to have a $ 10 meal here, which was easily possible only a couple years ago, but I guess you get what you pay for. We like to «build your own burger». Their fresh cut fries are outstanding. We like their wraps, and also tomato bisque. We do not recommend the cheesesteaks. Their salads are nice, and if you order salad as a meal you won’t be disappointed. I often order the seafood on the daily menu, and it always meets or exceeds my expectations.
They expanded their hours a couple years ago, and we tend to visit late, Sundays, but anytime you go here, we think you will be happy.

Stopped as we are from out of town. 5 in our party and everybody’s meal was excellent. Highly recommend.
