If there is a negative star rating, this business deserves it. Actually, I’m not sure if I’d consider these people «a business», «cheats» or «crooks» are probably better references.
We were charged a total of $ 2,324 for installation of new 50-​gallon Bradford White U1−5036FRN water tank, which included $ 495 for labor and $ 1,829 for the tank and parts. When we requested a breakdown, the tank is listed as $ 1,399. The pipes were leaking 1 day after installation, which raised our suspicion, and we started to check the prices at other retailer. The price for this tank is somewhere between $ 497 – 600, so we were charged almost 3x the actual price.
The installer also tried to sell us an expansion tank for another $ 500. Obviously we did NOT take the offer and later had someone else install this additional tank for only $ 89.
This is THE MOST DISHONEST business I have ever dealt with. I do not know how these people can charge people like this. They also used a scare tactic by coming at night (10 hours after we made the service call) and scared us by saying you risk your house flooding with a leaking tank. Obviously we did not have any knowledge/​expertise and since this involved water/​safety, we just accept their price to install that night. Note this business also expects us to pay extra 3% if we choose to pay with credit cards (what kind of businesses do this these days?)
Somebody needs to talk to this business and tell them they are running a very unethical and dishonest business practice!

I have never in my life had such a rude experience with a business. I have a gas leak with a one year old water heater with a 10 year warranty installed by Water Heater Professionals. They refused to take responsibility and gave me no help at all in planning a repair. They call me a 77 year old bully and a liar. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE hardly described the three phone calls, the last one with a manager. Beware! Do not use them.

I could not agree more with these poor reviews and wish I’d read them before using these people. They told me my water heater needed a part and replaced it for close to $ 300. When it broke again 2 weeks later, they told me they thought another part should be replaced — this one more than $ 300. 3 weeks later, the water heater broke again and when I spoke to the manager… RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! He actually blamed me for not choosing to get a new water heater, as though I’m the expert. He never called back or offered to make things right. So $ 600 in the hole, I called another water heater company. He asked me how old the piece was. When I told him it was ten years old, he said they never replace parts on 10 years old water heaters — they just replace the whole thing. He also couldn’t believe how much I was charged for two small parts. Stay away from this company!
