My wife and I had a cup of hot tea. As the menu says, the tea is definitely premium. I highly recommend the green tea. We also shared a Strawberry/Banana/Nutella crêpe, which reminded us a bit of the crepes we had in Paris. The only slight negative is that the tea is a bit on the pricy side. We will definitely be back

Pros Earl Grey Milk Latte: strong tea flavor in each sip and love the fact that it wasn’t overly sweetened without having to tell them. Tropical Fruit Tea: Good blend of fruity flavors but that’s all you get since it didn’t taste as if tea was mixed into the drink. Cons Prices: the drinks were good but it didn’t have that premium taste and I can’t justify how expensive some of the drinks are.

this is a review for this time only! my previous visits have all been delicious! new girl at the counter, was very uncomfortable. ordered an osmanthus with half sweet and ai yu, no milk. tea i received is not osmanthus! it is some sort of roasted tea, and doesn’t taste well brewed. seems as though there is no sugar at all, which can’t be right because i have done half sweet before and it was not this. bitter and frustrated at a waste of almost $ 5!

I went there to get the hot grass jelly, OMG, this place gave u 5 toppings for free, other tea places I went to will only offer 1 free topping and charge me at least $ 0.5 for each additional topping, sometimes more for Taro Balls. Love this place, will definitely come back.

I had the Apollo with boba, since I was looking for something noncaffeinated. It’s supposed to be hibiscus with raspberry, blueberry, and«other fruits.» It was nasty. I couldn’t drink more than 3 sips. I don’t even know how to describe the taste. It was simultaneously flowery and medicine-like. I threw the entire thing away, which speaks to how bad it tasted since that drink cost ~$ 5. Neither of my friends liked it, either. Definitely would not order again. Maybe their other stuff is better? I’m pretty turned off by the price, though.

My wife and I are what you might call«boba snobs». In particular we are really sensitive to boba tea places with overly sweet teas or that use mixes. This place uses real tea and made it just a tad sweet. We got earl grey milk tea w boba(which were nice and«Q») and passion green with lychee jelly. Five stars for sure! Right up there w Fantasia in Cupertino

I work in Mountain View and saw that Tea Annie was a fairly new boba place. I came in and asked for recommendations. Tried a couple samples, but decided to order the Earl Grey Milk tea with boba. The lady that helped me was nice, but I specifically asked if they were still doing the check-in offer on Unilocal, which is 10% your order. The total came out to $ 4.17, including the 10% off which was pretty expensive. I think I will stick to the boba places close to home, which are cheaper and better in taste. This place also gives a stamp card, so if you really like this place, you would get a free boba after a certain amount of purchases. The Earl Grey milk tea was okay. You can taste the Earl Grey, but it is on the sweet side. I probably should’ve asked for half the sugar or something. The boba was nice and soft and was made fresh, since I felt the warmth of the boba against the cup. If I am craving boba, I don’t know if I would give it another try. It was just okay.

Clean and well-maintained. The menu is fairly large and it’s a bit hard to find a simple drink. The milk tea I ordered was pretty weak(don’t remember the exact name but i think it was sakura?). Good customer service but drink came out slow. I was the only customer at the time, too.

Fresh fruit teas here are amazing! Tea Annie not only has your usual milk tea fare, they also have a selection of fresh fruit teas, which are made with actual fresh fruit. I usually stay away from so-called fruit teas, because they’re usually drenched with syrup. Not the case here. I tried their tropical fruit tea, which had apples, pineapples, and strawberries, and my friend tried their grapefruit green tea, which had real grapefruit bits in it. Both drinks were not overly sweet at all, and tasted legitimately like real fruit. They’ve also started carrying crepes, and I had their chicken/bacon/corn crêpe. It was very big and pretty tasty. They’re still figuring out the logistics of their crepes, as they initially handed me a(very large) crêpe in a paper cone and I had to ask for a plate/utensils(the cone is sufficient when you first start eating it, but things definitely start getting a little messier the further down you go). For a limited time, all crepes are a dollar off too! The décor is pretty sparse, but don’t let that throw you off: the drinks here are legit, and besides milk teas and fruit teas, they also have afternoon teas with a selection of desserts and snacks. I’ll definitely be back to try more options!

Tea was on the watery side. Their Oreo milk tea was prob the best thing I’ve tried there so far. It was pretty sweet, but you could really taste the Oreo. It wasn’t a milk tea though — more like a Oreo slush. The teas had a tea flavor, but I would skip out on the added flavors. Their teas were light so the fruit just covered everything. The pearls were a bit on the mushy side which I didn’t enjoy and their grass jelly was canned which I also didn’t appreciate. It also takes a while to get your drink because it is run by 2 people for the most part. Pros: — easy to park — cute interior Cons: — teas were on the watery side — drinks were slow to come out — very busy around 3 on weekdays because of high school students — on the sweet side — toppings were subpar

Green mt — Asked for the Oreo MT and turns out there’s usually isn’t tea in it — So they made me a MT and added Oreo crumbles on top — What a boss. Black mt — Good standard from which to build on. Mango smoothie — Creamy, almost mango lassi like Need to try their herbal and infused teas!

Freshest tea and the cleanest bathroom. This place is great! Boba is fresh and not chewy, friendly service as well.

SOCUTE. I really love this place; the ambiance alone puts this boba shop in my top tier of tea places to frequent. First time here and I got the plant milk tea. The novelty of it makes me really happy! Didn’t see it on the menu but the staff new exactly what I was requesting! :) super pleased with the overall flavor and presentation and will be coming back :)

Hidden in the same plaza of Safeway, Tea Annie is nestled in a cute corner with a very cute outdoor porch. Premium tea: 3.50 fresh infused tea: 3.75 toppings $.50 Special teas 4.00 fruit teas 4.50 New interesting flavors here like champagne grape, sour plum, rose iron goddess. Caught on the SoCal hype of potted plant milk tea. Has actual British afternoon tea menu here too if its your thang. A LOT of younger kids here. Passionfruit + mango classic green tea with honey aloe vera 4.35: pretty refreshing and true to the two flavors I asked to mix. Staff was pretty nice too!

New boba place in the bay! This calls for a celebration! With boba! Before coming, I saw a few pics of a milk tea drink with Oreo crumbs and a cute mint leaf on top, and I immediately knew I wanted to try it. But when I got there, I didn’t see it on the menu… I was about to give up all hope and order a boring regular milk tea boba, when I decided to whip out my phone and show the cashier which drink I was looking for. Apparently, they call it a «plant milk tea» WHATSOCUTE. So I got it. And loved it. And can’t wait to get it again. The Oreo and cream topping was delicious — I ate it alone because you lose the crunchy texture of the cookies if you mix it into the drink. The tea had a nice flavor and was not too milky. The boba was also spot on: chewy, not too hard or soft. I would say this is my perfect dessert drink! Definitely will be coming back :) they also have a restroom, which is totally a bonus. UPDATE: I JUST finished my drink… And I found a little surprise in my drink! Get it and find out. Or just read other reviews about the«plant» drink and maybe they’ll say what it is ;)

Woohoo! I’m excited to see a new boba shop in Mountain View. There are so many in the Bay Area, but I’m always open to seeing and trying new things. The shop is located in a big plaza and is across the lot from the Mountain Mikes. The menu is simple — chose from their teas on one board or from their specialties on board #2 and add some toppings from board #3. I got the plant milk tea, which I didn’t see on the menu. I liked that I could taste the tea since I like my drinks strong. I’m a sucker for cute looking drinks like plant milk teas :) The boba was nice and chewy too. They have a couple tables inside or you can take your drinks outside and sit on a bench.

A bit slow because the workers are new. Well, the place is new. Anyway, the milktea is excellent. We ordered the oreo milktea(with a mint leaf on top) and watermelon orange juice(juice, not milktea). Both were excellent.

There are a ton of milk tea places these days. Unfortunately few of them are of quality. I miss the old Lucy’s in downtown who was there years before any of the craze came. She made only one choice and it was awesome. Miss the old days. I digress… Tea Annie takes over the long standing froyo place that was in this Safeway strip mall. It’s been hot these days so cold drinks in the late afternoon is a regular scheduled event these days. Great Oolong milk tea hit’s the spot. The workers are friendly and the quality of the tea is high. Definitely glad to see a great new tea place pop up

Theres a new boba place right in the middle of a Los Altos neighborhood! Seems like Los Altos is bandwagoning on the boba trend, this being the second one opening up within the year. This place is fairly new as you tell on Unilocal with no phone number or hours listed, but i think they close at 8 or they’re still testing out their hours of operation. My friend and i came in one night to try it out and the first thing i noticed was how quiet it was cause there was no music playing. However, the girl who greeted us was very pleasant and was open to answering any questions we had about the tea. The menu is pretty flashy and cutesy, but it seems out of place for a café. We ordered Black milk tea and Sakura green tea. Both of which tasted fresh and refreshing! We decided to sit around and admire the place and realized that when the second group of ppl came in, that the lack of music made this group sound super loud and whle place echoed s it was hard to hear eachother. After awhile of sitting down, who im guessi g is the owner came around and gave each table a free drink! Peach black tea with mango popping boba and crema! Will be back!
