I called to make an appointment as a new patient, they put me on hold and then took down my number and name and told me they would call me back in ten minutes. Never heard from them again. With that first impression, not going to bother giving them my money.

i called to make an appointment after being referred by my primary care physician. Stephanie the receptionist was not only rude, but incompetent. Needless to say, I quickly am making arrangements with another allergist group.

I have seen Dr. Katherine Nelson about 4 times now (over the past 4 months), and she’s is simply amazing. Just when I was losing hope for doctor’s working within the confines of Western Medicine, I come across Dr. Nelson. She is extremely personable, actually LISTENS, and has a CONVERSATION with me where my own account of my own experiences with MY body are actually accepted. She really buys into the concept that each and every person knows their own body better than anyone else, yet demonstrates an excellent amount of knowledge with her speciality: Allergies and Immunology. She listens to my explanations of what I have experienced. With all my questions, she has given clear and understandable responses, yet has not demeaned me, or shown any sense of arrogance whatsoever.
Let me just put her presence in perspective: I have roughly 85 medical claims (includes procedures, blood tests, and dr visits), 30 doctor visits spreadout amongst 17 different specailists, and 6 ER visits all within 5.5 MONTHS!!! Of those 17 specialists, only Dr. Nelson and 2 others have been excellent at seeing me as a HUMAN patient!!! And I give the upper nod to Dr. Nelson by default because I have seen her more than any of the 2 other excellent specialists.
Now, don’t get me wrong, as a doctor, she does rely on empirical evidence, so – naturally — she needs to get concrete data and does rely on the notes of other specialists. Her staff is great, too. At least the ones i’ve interacted with. Overall, i’m glad she’s not working at these big organizations (PAMF, Kaiser, etc.): they don’t deserve her!!!
I’ve gotten Immune system-​related blood tests done, a skin allergy test, and will be seeing her for some follow-​up Immunological therapies.

They charged me for a visit that they explicitly said they wouldn’t, because of an ambiguity in the results of my initial testing. I only found out when they kept sending me a bill for my co-​pay.
Staff that works there has a really horrible attitude, which doesn’t help when they are jabbing you in the back.
My other doctors also don’t agree with the results of my allergy testing.
