Really great beer, free shuffle board, and very friendly, relaxed staff.

Atmosphere was ok. Prices were solid. But the food was COLD. Would return for drinks, but wouldn’t order any food from the kitchen.

I just recently started coming to this bar. I have to say that Mikey and Victoria are my favorite bartenders. Whether they are busy or slow they take great care of their customers. Sometimes that’s hard to find when at a bar. I will definitely keep coming back.

The longer we spent in here, the worse things got. First, we ordered food(2 burgers, a veggie burger and onion rings) and my girlfriend and her friend grabbed a couple of beers because they were excited to see a sour beer on tap. The bartender, who seemed inexperienced behind the bar, decided to use different sized glasses for the beers. Whatever, no big deal. After a short wait, the veggie burger comes up. By the time our friend finished his veggie burger, we noticed that there was a basket of onion rings sitting on the counter by us. Sure enough, they were ours. I asked the cook, who was friendly enough, and he replied with some diatribe about a customer that he didnt care for and explained that he was closing the kitchen to clean for the health department’s visit(supposedly today). Several minutes later, the first burger(a whopping 3 ounces, maybe) comes out cooked to a crisp. Another couple of minutes and the 2nd burger comes out just as burned and overcooked as the first. Disappointed, we ate and tried to enjoy the game that was on. We had no idea how awful things were going to get or we would have left then and there. Nearly every customer had been HEAVILY over served. At least 3 different customers(a cowboy and two ladies in separate parties) were so intoxicated that they could not walk. The inexperienced bartender continued to serve all of them. Finally, one puked. Not just a little. A lot. On the table, the floor, the chair. And the bartender, having seen the vomit, chose not to do anything. The vomit sat on the floor for nearly 30 minutes before the angry cook began slowly cleaning it up. We left, disgusted, the second the game ended. I only left this review to inform the owner(who seems active on Unilocal) and wish him luck with those employees. Ps. Here’s a picture of the puke if you wanted to have as bad of a time as we did last night.

New ownership appears to be bringing life back to the place…

This is a nice local sports bar. Friendly service, good food, nice beer selection. It appears no alumni group has claimed it for college football. Time to jump if you need a place on the pan handle. Try wings here are great!

There aren’t many sports bars out here on the peninsula, so competition may not seem stiff. But that’s not a slight to O’Malleys. This place has a great draft selection, where the beers aren’t $ 9 each(I’m looking at you, Steins!), a few pool tables, a shufflboard table, and plenty of TVs. Even my wife, who’s never been one for sports bars, acknowledged that it was kind of a cool place, away from the stuffy bars of downtown MV. The only curious omission– a dart board(unless I missed it!) It’s sure to become one of my go-to places!

O’Malley’s was great until they key on Enigma tonight. Sports Bar — Metal band what a f-ing diconnect. I’d like to come back but want to know that the disconnect is corrected. The drinks were reasonable, the place was clean, the people were great until he Oakland low lands desended. SAD sports bar run a muck.

Stopped by Omalleys yesterday for a beer before going to a concert at the shoreline and boy am I glad this was our first stop. Awesome atmosphere, great beer selection for all those beer snobs out there. Our bartender Ryan(I think that was his name) was great made our drinks to perfection and served us a delicious kamikaze, best one i’ve had. I come from out of Salinas, CA and we have already made the decision that we will be coming back here very soon! Love everything about this bar.

Such a fun place! Great environment, great people, and great service! Started kind of slow but we were able to get a bartender to serve us it was smooth sailing. I think her name was Kristen or christen, idk, but she made our night! She was so cool and friendly and bent over backwards to make sure we’re all had fun and got home safely. From suggesting drinks, going out her way to look up how to make other drinks, and joking around with us, she really was awesome. At the end of the night she went the extra mile to make sure we were ok to get home and did not let us drive no matter how stubborn we were(luckily we live a short walk away). Anyway, for it being my first time at Omalley’s it for sure was a great one! Definitely coming back!

I’ve been a regular at your bar before and after Herb & Omalleys took over ownership. I have never once had a complaint about ANYTHING, until now. Came in around 11 pm yesterday, July 9 and as it has been before, it was busy, nothing new for me or any other regular. There were two bartenders; a female I think her name is Christy(?) and the other was a male new(and old…) bartender or bar back Brian. We received are beers a little slower then the norm but weren’t complaining. Over the course of the hour we were there, I heard numerous people complain about the slow service and I noticed the female bartender was particularly slow making drinks. But again I’m not complaining about that because we just ordered beer. What I want to address is the attitude and extremely rude behavior of your female bartender. Out of no where she leaned over the bar and told me she would kick me out if I continued to ‘talk shit about her’ and to not call her a ‘bitch’. I, as well as the 2 other people I was with were shocked. We just looked at her with puzzlement. She continue to bash me about talking shit about her, which I am still confused about because I had nothing to say … Like I said, I have been a regular at Omalleys and the previous bar Fran’s and have not had anything to ever complained about. I think the owner has done an amazing job on the reconstruction and it seems business is better then ever. But I will be avoiding Omalleys if that bartender is there. As a manger myself, I know the difficulties that bar managers and bartenders deal with but I have never seen anything like this before. You have not lost my service but I am just still in shock over that bartenders treatment of customers.

Awesome place for craft brews on tap! They have an ever rotating tap board, along with a wide variety of bottled beers are well. All the drunchie foods you ever need fly through their back kitchen as well, including wings, taquitos, etc. O’Malley’s has become a haven for the guys getting together wanting to indulge in fermented beverages and enjoy the game. During halftime you can entertain yourself with their pool tables, shuffleboard table, or arcades.

6÷11÷15: Pretty standard sports bar it seems, except for a larger than usual beer list. Relatively large. Came here to watch the Warriors vs. Cavaliers finals,… well… okay honestly I came to drink with friends… don’t even got a TV – so never watch any sports. But, anyway, I dunno if it’s just cause it’s a big game but it was totally packed and it was hard to order a drink. The bartenders were clearly preoccupied and basically only poured beers… not too friendly, but I guess that’s to be expected on a night like this. 1. Heretic Chocolate Hazelnut Porter, 7% $ 7: Hmm, kinda like it. Not very sweet unlike some chocolate beers. Just has that cocoa taste. Not sure if I taste hazelnut, not that I really know what it tastes like. Has a nice dry taste to it with some good complexity. Pretty rich. Extremely dark, almost black. Glad I tried it. 7⁄10. Well, though their list is big, it’s not as big as some beer-specialty bars, and they don’t have too many rare or hard-to-find beers. Just more typical craft beers you mostly can find in stores. Except I’ve never seen this Heretic one before, though I’ve never really looked for that brand either, so I dunno. Nice, but I don’t feel it’s all that special. 3⁄5. #bar #pub #beer

I’ve been here three times, once with an artsy friend and twice with the warrior. I was really impressed with the beer selection and the nice bartenders. Linda even remembered my name the second time I was there! It’s nice when girl bartenders are nice to girls. This is a great place to watch the 49ers game — they have a large projection screen and plenty of seats. When I came with my friend we played three games of pool and were quite comfortable just hanging out. The clientele seem so normal, just regular people. Overall, four stars. Mostly because the food is typical pub food. It’d be awesome if they have one thing they were really really good at/known for. Omg, I’d totally love a buffalo chix sandwich. But, it’s really set up well for a nice neighborhood bar/hang out.

Very happy to discover this awesome pub thanks to the Europeans in Silicon Valley meetup group. One of the recent gatherings took place there and I was impressed with the amount of things you can do at this place other than drink beer and eat comfort(and probably unhealthy food), like playing karaōke, dancing, playing pool, chatting with people and listening to live music. I like the dog of the owner’s daughter, so well behaved, beautiful and friendly. Loved my whole experience being there with a bunch of amazing, interesting people in a very casual environment. Perfect place for big groups.

I love this place!!! Coworkers and I found this spot and it’s been our local watering hole ever since! The bartenders’ customer service is what kept us coming back! Especially Taylor and Jenny=) DJs, kareoke, beerpong, pool, food… and yes good drinks and great service! All the bartenders are so nice!!! I recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Went here last night(Saturday) & the place was hopping. The bartender was by herself, but she handled the bar like a pro. She was friendly & got to everybody as soon as she could. There was no wait for drinks. We played shuffleboard & had a few drinks. The crowd was really lively with karaōke in the background. I’m not a big karaōke fan, mainly because I can’t sing, but I’ve been to bars where the karaōke was so loud you couldn’t hear anything else. It wasn’t like that at O’Malley’s, No screaming necessary to hear your friends. We had a great time & would come back here again with more friends! Keep up the good work O’Malley’s!

Haven’t been here, but I will definitely stop by soon. Why? There’s a prominent one-star review by a patron who was upset over being booted(along with everyone else) in the middle of Giants game for a private event. Even though the owner says signs were posted giving advance notice, he replied to this customer’s review, said he understood, and offered to buy the guy a couple drinks. That’s classy and attentive. I’m encouraged. Will update with my own review after dropping by for a hard cider!
