Lina Tran

Lina is amazing! I’ve been going to her since I was a little kid and I’ve always done my hair and waxing from her. Totally recommend her! :) I think the address is wrong here though — now she works at 1040 Grant Rd suite 180 Mountain view, ca 94 040 — just heads up in case you want to go to her!

I had a black-​tie event to attend, so wanted an up-​do. I booked with Lina a 3 days in advanced and she asked me to email her some pictures/​ideas I had in mind for my updo. I sent her a couple links and pictures of myself with previous updo and the dress I was going to wear.
When I showed up, we chatted as if we were long-​time friends even though we met for the first time. She gave me a quick trim (which I requested ahead of time at the time of booking) then took her time to set my hair. She listened to my requests, concerns and showed me the progress along the way. In just about 60 min, I got my hair trim and hair set for the night.
I then stayed to get my nail done at Unique Nail. Lina would come over and remind me not to put my head back, which could mess up my updo. We continued chatting throughout. Lina was delighted to know that I love Vietnamese food and she was very enthusiastic to offer recommendations places to go.

Her precision, attention to detail, friendly personality, and most importantly the time she takes to get to know you as a person is impeccable.
Her prices remain competitive despite the downturn of the economy, and she is always available. She works Monday — Saturday (Sundays when emergency). She is a workaholic and a perfectionist at her craft.
If you are looking for an All-​In-​One professional for haircuts and more, I recommend you give Lina a chance. You will not be unhappy.

I’m giving Lina Tran a five star review because her hair cuts are consistently the best. I have been going to her for years and have yet to get a bad cut. Uniquely she does dry cuts that are a fraction of the price and more than with it. She has a wonderful sense of style and balance and knows how to texture hair. I get compliments all the time about my hair, and recommend her to anyone who wants a really great cut.
