Dana Park

This is NOT a park. It is a small patch of grass with a sidewalk. Set your expectations accordingly.

this park is more like a mini-​park, since there is no playground or basketball court or even benches to sit on. the location is also a bit odd, as it is right next to the mountain view fire station.
however, the beauty of this park is the setup, which consists of a stone structure in the middle of the park, surrounded by medium-​sized stones, which gives it a very zen-​like look and feel. i find it very peaceful to sit here and think or meditate. occasionally, i bring my lunch here if i want to get away from the hustle and bustle of castro st, just a few blocks away.

Well this is quite the interesting park. Wouldn’t even know it was a park if there wasn’t a sign on the corner. This park is directly adjacent to Mountain View Fire Station No. 1. While we were there a standard fire truck, a truck with an extended ladder and a paramedics van all took off with sirens blaring. I think this would be a very nice park to take younger children to since it is right next to the fire station they can see the station and the fire truck while visiting the park

Small area for sitting.
Benches are big rectangle shaped rocks… pretty cool idea.
Center of this speck of a park is a cool sculpture made of big natural rocks and flat rock slab.
