The food is decent, and the staff is friendly. It sometimes takes a while for the food to be prepared, even when the order is for simple sandwiches. There are no vegetarian/vegan options available on the breakfast/lunch menu. The new dinner menu offers an Alfredo plate which can be made with vegetables instead of meat. I was excited to try this dish, but was disappointed to see that the vegetables were canned instead of fresh. The quality definitely wasn’t worth the $ 14 that I paid for it, but it was a very large plate of food.

We tried Ta Da’s Café partially based on the previous review, hoping for a good local choice. The food was mediocre. We split a combo with grilled chicken breast and grilled salmon. The chicken was tough, the salmon was dry, and the seasoning on both was way too salty. My husband said the mashed potatoes were good. The veggies were just OK. The food was disappointing but the staff were nice.

By far the best meals I’ve had in Mtn Home. Lunch was a Southwest style salad. Fresh. Flavorful. Delicious. Breakfast was typical eggs and sausage plate. Cooked perfectly to order. I didn’t like the hash browns but my wife and brother liked theirs so maybe I’m just overly picky. The wait staff were nice and the place is clean bright and cheery. I intend to go back tomorrow morning for breakfast as my last meal in Mtn. Home.
