I loved this place so much… Pizza was always fast, hot and delicious. customer service was out of this world!.. the delivery people loved my dog Trooper and would greet them at the door with a toy. Sadly today we went to order a pizza and the phone recording said the number was out of service. i called another store and found out that they closed this store this past Monday, 2/15.i was also told that the employees most likely did not know it was happening which i think is a horrible thing to do to people… Seems like this is the norm for some smaller businesses… I do hope the staff are able to find work quickly… thank you so much for everything, you guys will be greatly missed!!!

Great guilty pleasure pizza. Not your typical choices for toppings which is awesome. They are the nicest people at this location. I’ve ordered from them for work even and they took great care to make sure the order was prefect. I love Toppers.

We ordered a medium veggie pizza again tonight with original Topper’s Stix. Stix were good, but the pizza was undercooked and just too doughy for me. I ate one piece and that’s just unheard of. :) We added extra toppings to this pizza, so maybe that accounted for the doughy-ness. We spent close to $ 40 this time for a medium ‘za and Stix. Kind of pricey; additional toppings add up quickly. Will like be back in the future, though. Online ordering is great and so convenient for us.

I’m updating my review down to one star — primarily because their ‘new and improved’ web site is unbelievably bad — worse then ever — doesn’t work half the time, layout is poor, responsiveness slow — just horrible — I’d wish they’d get their act together and hire some one that knows what they are doing as their people and customers deserve better.

Awful pizza. Was delivered cold, old and way too salty. This«pizza» tastes just like those frozen pizzas you get 3 for $ 10 at Jewel. Actually the frozen pizzas are better because they come out hot from your oven and don’t taste like they’ve been sitting under a warmer for 3 hours. Save your $$ and go elsewhere.

I walked in and was immediately greeted with a smile! I ordered the original TopperStix and was told they’d be ready in 10! When I came back to pickup, much longer than 10 minutes, there was 1 customer before me and then it was my turn. There was different staff but just as friendly! They asked if I’d wanted any packets of red pepper flakes or Parmesan. I told them this was my first visit here and I was pleasantly surprised by how many vegetarian options they had and they elaborated more on them! Besides Veggie Classic, they offer California Topper, Mac ‘N Cheese, taco topper(without taco meat) and loaded tot-zza(without bacon)! They also offer 16 dipping sauces! They even gave me their opinions on certain sauces and deals! I ordered the TopperStix to try their original pizza out in a side portion! It was delicious and they got the basics right so it might be worthwhile to try out their other house pizzas! With good food & service, this place has earned a spot in the carryout folder!

I absolutely loved this pizza!!! It was hot and cheesy and came just in time. The girl that I spoke to Melanie was so nice and I will definitely order from there again! Best customer service I’ve received yet. Thank you Melanie!!!

Very greasy and disgusting. I am not sure there is much worse in the area. I ordered a simple cheese, sausage and onion pizza, it was sooooo greasy, I literally had to throw it in the garbage, I could not complain, this is what they’d sell on any normal given day, disgusting!!! Order somewhere else and have a much better meal.

1. Yes, it is very unhealthy pizza. 2. It’s not authentic Italian. 3. It’s a bit more pricey than Pizza Hut or Little Cesars. 4. It tastes great. I’ve ordered them twice and the first time i had a standard pizza. It was just ok, nothing memorable. The second time I had the Loaded Tot Zza. It was tasty and made me want to come back. I say, if you are going to go to Toppers, try something out of the ordinary. Don’t get a cheese pizza or sausage… it’s not much better than Pizza Hut. But get the unique things on the menu. You may be pleasantly surprised, despite having gained about 3 pounds. This inside décor seems to be trying to mimic Chipotle by trying to be «hip». I thought it was a little redundant.

I was excited to hear this place opened near me after hearing about it from NIU friends for years. Unfortunately, it was just okay. Dough didn’t have flavor and was very chewy. The toppings were overwhelming. The price was pretty high too. I got a special for a medium 3-topping for around $ 14. Not worth it. Domino’s has a M-Th special, $ 7.99 for a LARGE3-topping! So, $ 6 less, bigger and tastes better to me. Save your money and go somewhere other than Toppers.

I decided to give this place 5 stars for two reasons… great customer service and affordability: The pizza itself is decent for the price. We recently moved to the area and decided to place an online order. We ordered one half pepperoni half buffalo chicken pizza to go. When we arrived to pick it up we realized they had gotten it correct but ended up putting buffalo sauce on the entire pizza. They were very apologetic and said they would fix it right away. 10 mins later they hand us a whole pepperoni pizza and cheesy bread as a sorry for the mistake. The pizza was more than enough in my eyes! Before we left they also gave us a coupon for a free pizza later on. Now THAT’s how you keep your customers happy. They went far above and beyond and to me that’s important. You treat me well and I will keep coming back. The food itself is good and affordable. I would compare it to a cross between papa johns and dominos. It’s no Chicago Deep dish but it’s great when you just don’t feel like making dinner!

Excellent customer service! Delicious pizza. Great prices. I love all the different types of toppings they have! My 11 year old son is a VERY picky eater and he actually liked his pizza. 5 stars is not enough.

Pizza is alright but there’s a lot better choices in the Chicagoland area. The price isn’t expensive but other chains(Pizza Hut, Lou Malnati’s, Jet’s, etc.) aren’t that expensive either. The dough itself is lacking in flavor(tastes like a breadstick) while the toppings are a little on the salty side. If you need to relive the taste of this restaurant from your college days, this has exactly the same flavor.

You have to know what you’re getting with Toppers: it’s not going to compete in quality to local Chicago brick and mortar pizza restaurants, but you’ll get an efficient online ordering system, high-speed 30 minute delivery for most of the day(10:30am — 2:00am daily), and quality slightly above that of Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, and Dominos. If you’ve had a few adult beverages and end up getting home late craving pizza, their rapid delivery minimizes the possibility of falling asleep before the food arrives. Toppers excels at satisfying that pizza craving quickly while most of the competing pizza delivery options take an hour or more. It’s not the best pizza in Chicago, but it’s top in its class for quality delivered with speed. There are a brick and mortar competitors also open until 3am: Mug’s or Mugavero’s. Their product is better than Toppers, but you’ll wait for it at that time. There is a lot to be said for nearly instant gratification of pizza cravings.

The only pizza place that’s open until 3AM every day. We have eaten twice at this place and no complaints whatsoever with delivery, service or taste. They were our saviour when we reached at 2AM on a Sunday night hungry and exhausted! I RECOMMENDTHISPLACE!

That was GOOD! Just finished my 5th piece of hawaiian(maui) pizza. Delicious baked crust, fresh pineapple, ham and crunchy bacon YES! What I really loved was how fast my pizza was delivered and how friendly the delivery guy was. He even had extra packets of parmesan cheese he offered me :) I’m not a fan of bbq sauce and asked for regular pizza sauce instead! Delicious, I highly recommend Toppers :)

Pretty much like Papa John’s pizza but in a different colored box. Carry-out only. We got their hand-tossed pizza and it was fine but unimpressive. Kids seemed to like it well enough. The cheese-only pizza lacked flavor, and a gimmicky dipping sauce didn’t help very much. If you like Papa John’s then this place might impress you. I doubt we’ll be back. Where Papa John’s has their garlic dipping sauce chemistry experiment, Topper’s has more than a dozen dipping sauces. Right now they’re pushing breadsticks hard. I am not sure, but it seems like they’ve downsized their pizza sizes, so a Medium is 12″, not 14″ like everywhere else. Similarly their«Large» is 14″ which is everyone else’s Medium. «Large» and«Party» are also two inches smaller than you will expect. So with that in mind if you have to move up a size then the prices are about two bucks more expensive than Papa John’s for a similar pizza.

Horrid! How this is a successful chain is beyond me. Thin crust was more like a cracker crust and ours were slightly burned. Sauce was bland and when we asked for tomatoes as one of our toppings they gave us cubed pieces of tomato, much like the kind you get out of a can of diced tomatoes. Usually I give every restaurant a 2n chance but in this case I’ll pass. I’d rather eat the ass out of a dying skunk.

The employees were very friendly when I placed my order and picked it up. There are a ton of different options(like macaroni pizza). They offer a lot of dipping sauces, I tried 3 and enjoyed them. The pizza is definitely better than Dominos and Pizza Hut, but this will not be my go to place regularly. I prefer pizza from Lou malnaties. I will visit again, just not often.
