Best $ 15 I’ve spent on a haircut in a very long time. Going to multi-location salons are hit or miss depending on who is there out of the 12 stylists that day and time. This place has the same stylists and the same routine. I’ve gotten my haircut here about 6 times with 6 different stylists, and they’ve all been great. Perfect lines, straight razor shaves, and just the most precision on a haircut I’ve ever gotten. Great haircut all around.

There’s a bit of a language barrier there, but the haircut was affordable and the stylist did an amazing job on my hair. she took her time and asked me if everything was looking ok. i was really pleased with the outcome!

Nancy cut my hair yesterday, it cost me $ 14, the cut was great and I will be going back. True, no one seems to speak much English at all, but hey, to me the haircut is more important than the conversation. Previously I had been going to the city. Blades Hair Design in Jeffeson Park. That place still gives the best haircut in my opinion. I have also tried Hair Cuttery and Regis Salon. Sorry ladies, but you don’t know how to cut guys hair. also they are super corporate which for me is a major turn-off. I despise the corporate speech that you know they had to learn in their handbook, then they try and push you to buy their other products. No thanks I am done with you. The address on Unilocal is correct, however the marker is incorrectly placed. Same on GMaps. I submitted an error report so that should get fixed. The Citgo gas station is further south and has nothing to do with Paris 2000. It is located between Dempster St & Algonquin Rd.

I’ve been getting my haircut here for over 7 years. Ricardo has been my man. He used to sit in the middle of the shop but now is first chair. I was told about Paris 2000 by my father, whose opinion in such matters doesn’t really hold weight especially when it comes to getting a fade. I was surprised by how great my fade was and have gone there ever since. My experience really is just for Ricardo since I have only used one other barber there and he no longer works there. A few things to keep in mind. This is a Mexican barber shop and until recently most of the stylists spoke limited to no English. It never hurt Ricardo’s ability to give me a great fade though. Depending on your stylist you may be able to just walk in and sit down. At other times you have to wait. They take appointments during weekdays but not over the weekend. I have sat and waited for three guys just so I could get a fade. They also do a great razor shave that is included. It’s great. I have seen other guys getting everything from designs carved into their fades to designs carved into their beards. I haven’t once seen someone disappointed with the styles they have received. This shop services people of all ages and backgrounds. The majority of patrons are latino but it gets diverse because of the great services they provide. Haircuts here cost $ 14 and you can get lined up for $ 6. The prices have changed only once over the 7 years I have come here.
