Matt sold me an entire kitchen of appliances along with a washer and dryer. I went to Abt to see if they could give me better prices. They could not do it and even told me that N&P gave me great prices that they could not compete with. I was even given tickets to the Sweet show in Schaumburg last weekend(N&P was a sponsor). I will definitely go back to N&P.

I am buying a new refrigerator and looked into your store and reviews. I read the lengthy review from a customer concerning months of delivery issues. Ok everyone makes mistakes. But your store comment that you are busy is beyond belief. Sad that I am going to shop where mistakes are corrected and the customer always comes first.

Very helpful.. .much better than some larger corporate places and one supposedly better and renowned appliance store here in the NW burbs. I would gladly pay $ 20 or $ 50 more for the service and care provided by this store when I compare it to late or no delivery or shoddy installation by others. If I needed an appliance and I lived in the northwest suburbs, I would go to this place first.

Just had Jeff from Novak & Parker out to repair my refrigerator. He was prompt, helpful, reasonable, and fast. I’ve used Novak & Parker for several repairs and they are very reasonable – MUCH cheaper and better than Abt. Highly recommend!

We just got an over the stove microwave from Novak & Parker and had a great experience! The quality of the microwave is exceptional, we were very happy with the price, and each salesperson we encountered couldn’t have been nicer. They were very attentive and loaded it in the car for us too. Will definitely come here for more appliances!

We purchased a stove and hood on May 28th for our new home. The salesman told us that the hood is in stock and the stove will take about 3 weeks. We were fine with the 3 weeks wait knowing that Blue Star is made to order in the US. The hood was supposed to be delivered on the following weekend and we were told that someone would call us during the week to schedule the delivery date; however, no one called; we called the office ourselves to find out the delivery date. The hood was installed without further problem. One week later, we decided to order the high guard with the stove, so we contacted the salesman and he said no problem and he would put the order in and it should come together with the stove. Another 2 weeks went by, no call, and no email. We called about the status and the office told us that our salesman is on vacation and they don’t know what the status is but they will make sure to have the salesman call us back. Another week went by, no call and no email. We called again and they finally told us that everything is in and they will come deliver and install. When the delivery truck got to our house, they only have the stove and not the high guard. We called the office and our salesman was with a customer and they will check with him and give us a call back. The stove was installed. We got a call back from our salesman and he told us that he forgot to let us know the high guard would take longer and also he was leaving Novak and Parker(basically he didn’t care anymore). Anyway we okayed with the longer wait but all we asked was to have someone keep us posted with the status. That was at end of June. Another 2 weeks gone by, no call no email. We called and they said they will need to find out and call us back, 2 days no call back. We called again and Kathy there said she will check and call us back, which means no one found out anything during the 2 days we were waiting for a call back. At that point, we pretty much gave up, but then they did call back and schedule the delivery on July 18th. The high guard came and after the installation was done, the installation guys told us there is a deep scratch. They called the office for us and they gave me 3 options: $ 50.00 off(that’s about 0.6% of our total order), or they send a repair man to come fix it but there is no guarantee that it will be fixed, or they will get us a new one but they will take this one back and we will have to wait for it again. We decided to wait because the scratch is just too deep and too noticeable. At that point, my fiancé is already super pissed and he talked to Leo(the manager there) and Leo ensure us that they will keep us posted and he will personally update us. Fine. Another 2 weeks gone by, no calls no e-mail. We call the office again and Kathy told us she didn’t call us because she didn’t have an answer from Blue Stars yet and she will find out. Another week, no call back. My fiancé called and ask to speak to Leo and the lady(not Kathy) sand Leo was busy and tried to brush us off and we have to tell her the whole story again then she somehow magically made Leo available to talk to us. Still there is no answer to when we will get our order completed. We finally got a call back on Aug 15th to schedule our delivery on Aug 18th. One of the installation guy made a small scratch with his power screw driver during the installation, but at this point, we do not want to go thru the whole thing all over again, but we accepted it. So, from May 25th to Aug 18th, almost 3 months. The wait was long but what upset us more is there is no communication from Novak and Parker and they keep blaming Blue Star. We will tell all of my family and friends NOT to buy from them ever. STAYAWAY!!!

I called about an appliance repair and the woman who answered the phone was quite unpleasant and unhelpful. I have an older model stove and just wanted to know if they repaired that type and she said I’d have to schedule a repairman and pay $ 50 to find out.
